I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Boutique Casona del Colegio. The staff was incredibly helpful, warm, and efficient. The room was quite comfortable and true to the photos. Although the hotel is located in a busy central area, I had no trouble sleeping because of noise. The restaurant was excellent, as was the breakfast. The pool area was lovely and well maintained. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

The property was lovely, in a great and convenient location. The breakfasts were delicious, and the AC was generous. That's no small thing given Cartagena's heat during summer. We also appreciated the hotel's rooftop pool. It's small, but it was enough for a cooling, relaxing respite. Even the lobby smelled fantastic! I can't say enough about the staff and the managers. They were so kind. They truly went out of their way for us on several occasions. And our room was great - spacious and overlooking the street. And the bed was soooo comfortable. We actually got the brand of duvet they use from the manager because we might order one.

Everything was perfect: the staff, the quality of the breakfast, the hotel amenities (swimming pool, cleanliness, etc.), and, obviously, the room, which is stunning!

Excellent experience all round, with great service throughout from the manager Mr Rojas and his entire staff. Central location made walking to major sites very easy, with loads of restaurants just minutes away. We needed to check out very early and the staff helped us with booking a tax at 4am and even packed breakfast for us to go. We felt very well taken care of and I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful boutique hotel on an amazing location in the heart of the old city. Lovely room + bathroom, with all the luxurious and comfy amenities like bathrobes, turn down service with a little desert, quality shampoo, conditioner, lotion.

Breakfast options could have been a little more elaborate, but really not mention worthy.

Amazing location and beautiful hotel

Excelente experiencia en familia. La ubicación es inmejorable, las instalaciones son muy cómodas, la comida deliciosa y la piscina espectacular. Viajamos con nuestra bebé de 2 años y nos encantó la atención y el cuidado en cada detalle. ¡Una estadía que disfrutamos muchísimo!

Great location, exceptional restaurant, awesome service. The hotel architecture is stunning and rooms were huge. It was a very luxurious hotel. As this hotel is located in a great area, if your a light sleeper, remember to bring ear plugs with you as its very vibrant at night.

La ubicación y la atención del personal. Son maravillosos. Además, la piscina es genial.

Los interruptores de las habitaciones son poco intuitivos. El desayuno es mejorable, aunque los smoothies estaban riqusísimos.

Das Hotel machte einen guten Eindruck. Schönes Haus. Große Zimmer. Viel Personal, einige sprechen Englisch. Sehr gute Lage, zentral in der Altstadt. Uns wurde auch bei der Weiterreise geholfen.

Das Zimmer hatte keine Lichtschalter sondern eine Smart Home Steuerung, die nicht richtig funktionierte. Außerdem gab es zu wenig Licht im Zimmer. Die Klimaanlage konnte nur ein oder ausgeschaltet werden, eine Regulierung konnte nur über die Rezeption veranlasst werden. Die Fernbedienung des Fernsehers funktionierte nur mit Solar, was in einem dunklen Zimmer schwierig ist. Es gab kein heißes Wasser, nur lauwarm. Frühstück wurde aus einer Menü-Karte bestellt, wobei nur 1 Tasse Kaffee dabei war, es wurde nicht nachgeschenkt. Der 1 x 1 cm Butterwürfel für 2 Personen fand ich schon lächerlich (bei dem Preis). Nach unserer dritten und letzten Nacht im Hotel hatten wir beide mehrere Stiche bzw. Bisse am ganzen Körper. Wir vermuteten Milben oder Flöhe im Bett. Können es aber nicht beweisen.

El hotel está muy bien. Habitación grande y limpia. La piscina en la azotea es muy chula.

Un tanto caro en comparación con otros alojamientos de Cartagena que tampoco son mucho peores.

Mais quel plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel ! Les équipements, le personnel et la qualité du service sont tout simplement remarquables. Les installations de la chambre sont parfaites et la propreté est irréprochable. Idéalement situé, cet hôtel est un véritable havre de paix et de bienveillance. On y retrouve beaucoup de charme, avec une décoration réalisée avec goût, sublimée par les sourires et la gentillesse de tout le personnel. Nous y séjournerons de nouveau avec grand plaisir et je recommande vivement cet établissement. Nous voyageons régulièrement et, en tant que Français exigeants, nous pouvons sincèrement dire que cet hôtel fait partie des meilleures adresses où nous avons séjourné et Amérique latine .

Ótima e atenciosa equipe. Bom café da manhã. Localização muito boa. Cama muito confortável. Chuveiro é ótimo! Tem barulho? Tem, mas você está no centro de uma das principais cidades turísticas da Colômbia num destino de lazer e festa.

Nada que impacte a qualidade do local, mas pequenas manutenções seriam bem-vindas (botão da descarga desmontando, chuveirinho do vaso vazando água). Mas de forma geral sem grandes considerações.

Todo muy bien. A destacar el trato de todo el personal sobre todo de recepción, siempre dispuestos a mejorar la experiencia. Un 10 en trato y amabilidad.

Everything was excellent.

We love the boutique feel of the property. The Location, the staff and the atmosphere were all wonderful.

Our room was a little bit dark and only had a window out to the courtyard which was blocked by a blind. It’s not like we were there much, but I would’ve preferred more sunlight.

¡Tuvimos una experiencia excelente en La Casona del Colegio! Todo el personal fue muy amable y atento a todas nuestras necesidades, especialmente Dani, Alexandre y Danilo. Las habitaciones son amplias, modernas y están muy bien decoradas. Las camas son sumamente cómodas (selo parecía que nos abrazaban), y la piscina de la terraza es deliciosa y está muy bien cuidada. Los cócteles del bar también fueron excelentes, y el desayuno, abundante y bien elaborado. Además, la ubicación es perfecta: en pleno corazón de la Ciudad Amurallada. Es ideal para disfrutar de la vida nocturna y también para regresar fácilmente al hotel para descansar o refrescarse entre una actividad y otra. Sin duda, volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí.

Existen habitaciones con piscina privada, aunque esa opción no aparecía disponible en Booking cuando hicimos nuestra reserva. Tampoco nos afectó durante la estadía, pero los ascensores estaban en mantenimiento durante nuestra visita.

Personal muy amable, excelente desayuno. Muy buena ubicación. Un gran baño y muchos detalles que hacían más grata la estadía, como constante relleno de agua y dulces en la pieza

Sheik and the team were fabulous. We felt like we were home away from home. They were very accommodating with our various requests and always ensured that we were comfortable. The food and drinks were great, the location was wonderful, right in the heart of everything and the rooms and nooks throughout the hotel were lovely. I will book there again without question.

The pool was under Reno during my stay but we were able to use the sister hotel steps away so it wasn't a real issue.

Excelente hotel. Superó expectativas. Queríamos un hotel cómodo y con piscina para pasar nuestro último día en Cartagena. Cumplió con creces. Habitación cómoda y espaciosa. Aprovechamos el jacuzzi y la piscina. También reservamos al spa. El personal muy amable desde que ingresamos al hotel. Nos ayudaron con absolutamente todo y siempre de forma veloz.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s a beautiful place with an incredible breakfast. The location is perfect, right in the city centre and within walking distance of everything. The room was cleaned twice a day, but the best part of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We traveled with a baby, and they went above and beyond to help us by providing a baby bathtub and a crib in the room, as well as storing our baby’s food for us. Their kindness and attention to detail made our stay truly special. We will definitely come back.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful from the rooms, the cleanliness, beautiful breakfast and the staff A big call out to the Manager Sheik Rojas he went out of his way to chat and help us out and we had come all the way from New Zealand and it was very special

Esta en una zona que por las noches es algo ruidosa, mucha gente en la calle.

Een heerlijke kamer met superleuk uitzicht op calle del colegio.

Wij vonden het wat rommelig, het zusterhotel Casona del Povenir vonden wij meer verzorgd. Er ligt beneden bouwmateriaal, het is niet brandschoon in de openbare ruimtes. Een laag stof op het dressoir in het restaurant terwijl medewerkers op hun telefoon zitten. Gewoon wat minder verzorgd. Terwijl de kamer wel echt top was.

Localização. Perto do porto, do bairro de San Diego e de vários restaurantes e lojas. Boa cama. Bom chuveiro embora uma noite a água não tenha passado da temperatura morna, Netflix, frigobar, água gratuita... Suíte Luxo é muito espaçosa. Equipe muito atenciosa.

A cozinha não está preparada para atender uma necessidade do cliente no caso de um mal estar. Por exemplo, só existe o arroz com coco. Não há disponibilidade de legumes e verduras variados. Tudo demora muito. Por ser central, até certa hora há barulho na rua.

Nuestro cuarto daba a la calle y en la noche cuesta descansar porque pasa mucha gente caminando y haciendo bulla hasta la madrugada…..

El lugar es exactamente como se muestra en las fotografías; es muy bonito, buen diseño y decoración. La ubicación inmejorable, cama comodísima. El desayuno excelente y el servicio espectacular.

Breakfast was great. I would have liked to have pancakes though. Also need syrup, not just honey. The staff was great, they took our bags up the 3 flights of stairs since there was no elevator. Very knowledgeable about places to see and restaurants. We felt very safe, like that the door is locked at all times and has to be opened from inside.
