Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Beautiful hotel .Reasonably priced .Room was pristine.Wheelchair friendly great for my daughter . Lisa at reception was really helpful. Staff in the restuarant were friendly and the food was really tasty 10 out of 10. Excellent portion size . Recommend the hot wings and the Fish and chip portion was more than i could eat. Really good value and thanks to whoever made the mocktails genuinely so flavourful . All in all a lovely stay will definately be back for longer stay. Thanks regards Catherine and Emily

I booked a table in the restaurant for 8pm as I knew we would arrive at that time. When we arrived at 8pm we were told the restaurant was closed and we should have known that as that is what is on the information. I checked back at the website and it clearly says the restaurant is open until 8.30 on Sundays. I didn’t have the energy to argue with the staff as they did not show any understanding or warmth to me as a customer.

Someone died in the room next door which was a little confronting for our 6 year old to come back to after a night out at the local pub, but not much the hotel could do about that.

The staff were all very nice and friendly, in particular Lisa the receptionist. The food in the restaurant was absolutely brilliant, we couldn't fault a single thing. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Loved the view from my room, facing the water. Loved the friendly warm staff. The hotel is a convenient short distance from the railway station. And there’s a huge ASDA across the road, should you want things like fresh fruit, juices, yoghurt, etc.
I wish the hotel had more fresh fruit on hand, even just a bowl of apples or oranges, at the reception desk. Otherwise it’s grand.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026Breakfast offered a good selection to suit all tastes and I opted for porridge which was made for me soecially and it was very good. Very friendly, helpful staff.
The only problem we encountered was water seeping out of the wetroom onto the slippy tiles. I had a fall here two years ago so we used the drip mat and several towels on the floor to ensure good footing coming out of the shower.

The staff had to be found. The building was extremely over heated. At breakfast when I asked about the continental breakfast I was told majority was removed to prevent the coach party of clearing it out.

Food in the restaurant was gorgeous. Generous portions and a good choice on the menu. Plenty of parking and Asda is over the road.

Strange layout. Basically public areas of hotel are the bar no lounge as such. It lacks a cosy feel. Functional and nothing else. Staff are pleasant and the place is spotless, for a relatively moden hotel the decor is a blast from the past but rooms are massive juat don't expect cosy.

We took a while picking what we wanted to eat, and there certainly were some very good deals on for us pensioners. We all enjoyed very much what we had. Desserts were as usual, a delight for the eye, as well as the stomach. Eva was our very attentive server during the meal.

The hotel is excellent in every way , clean ,comfortable and the staff are friendly and efficient. We ate at the hotel and found the food excellent. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025I arrived here at 3am, check in was friendly and fast. Because I arrived early in the morning I missed breakfast. They normally only offer brunch on a Friday and Saturday but they arranged a brunch for me even though it was mid week. The hotel is quiet and clean with ample parking. Bed was comfy and linen was clean. The bathroom was clean and well sized. Every member of staff I met were super friendly and helpful. Would I stay again, too right I would. A lovely hotel and great location.
