Seaview House Bed & Breakfast

Carol the manager was very welcoming and helpful.places has a very homly feel. Gave me all the information I needed about taxis and food delivery as we were late arriving. Location to the ferry is really good less than 5 min walk. Rooms were beautifully finished ,good sized bathroom and shower. Shower gels ,towels tea coffee and biscuits all in the room.. Breakfast was a good selection of cerals,fruits,yogurts and croissant etc. I would definatly stay here again.

Excellent séjour, entre Belfast et la chaussée des Géants. L'hôtesse de maison est très gentille et cuisine divinement bien les omelettes. Le petit déjeuner est varié : céréales, fruits frais, yaourts, viennoiseries (industrielles), toadts...et comporte des plats chauds à commander en cuisine dont des déjeuners irlandais. Les lits sont confortables, la salle de bain rénovée et propre. Plateau de courtoisie ( bouteilles d'eau, thé, café) à disposition. Parking gratuit devant la demeure.

Rooms were immaculate! Remodeled smaller because the building it old part of Larne but that’s the quaint we were looking for. Convenient to ferry to get to Scotland. Breakfast was Awesome! Order the Soda Bread!! You won’t be disappointed…

Building was beautiful very clean, nicely decorated and well laid out. Carol was so lovely and welcoming. We were leaving for a show very early the next morning but she had a lovely Continental Breakfast for us. It was so wonderful to find such a nice place that accepted dogs. Great location very near the Ferry, shops, food outlets, everything. Would highly recommend.

My only hesitation was the lack of a lift although we were offered help with our luggage.

Highly recommended B&b for exploring the area with a car. Rooms are lovely, beautifully clean, breakfast amazing. Friendly team. Don’t worry about the appearance of the local area, this is a great base to stay.

Excellent pub Olderfleet at 5 minutes walk. Decent breakfast, modern and comfortable bathroom. Parking in front of the house.

Small bed. Reception area (entrance hall) looks a bit worn, this is in contrast with the rather nice room, unfortunately with a sad view.

We had a lovely stay at Seaview House B&B. After a rainy day of exploring, the warm welcome, cozy and spotless room, and delicious breakfast made it perfect. Great location too, with a nice pub just a short walk away. Highly recommended!

Cute B&B close to Larne Port. Rooms are bright and airy - we liked the rooms in front of building as windows opened. Modern bathrooms. Amazing breakfast - fresh fruit, juice, cereals, yoghurt, and large omelettes with variety of fillings. Carol was always checking in that we were comfortable and her staff were friendly and available too. Free Parking is available on the street in front of the guest house. About 500 meter walk to the beach, and a bit closer to Olderfleet Hotel.

Das Haus macht von außen zwar keinen so schönen Eindruck, aber unser Zimmer war super, sehr ruhig, alles da, was man braucht. Ein großes Bad, ein hervorragendes Frühstück, eine nette Vermieterin, ein sehr gutes Restaurant fussläufig erreichbar. Parkplätze vorm Haus. SuperLage übrigens falls man mit der Fähre nach Schottland fahren möchte. Wir haben es als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Tour auf dem coastal causeway genutzt.

The location was perfect — close to everything: shops, the train station, bus stop, and town center. Carol was amazing and made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The room was stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay even more comfortable. We've already booked our accommodation for next year as we'll be running the Antrim Half Marathon again. And we had the BEST omelette — absolutely delicious!

The location was great, walking distance to the stations, short walk to the seaside, clean, comfortable, our host was very helpful with our bags and had a lovely breakfast!

Third floor room far too steep far too many steps.Dark decore and poor lighting. Roadside parking not on site and private. View next door and area very ugly and in a ruined state. Far too small and cramped. There was no sea view or decent view at all. Windows were low down on the floor. Not sure it was ok on fire escape regulations.,

The location was perfect after getting off the ferry , just a few minutes drive , the room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was hot. The staff were welcoming and helpful . Breakfast was really nice.

Positives: Breakfast was great, property was clean, and service was great. Negatives: No lift and our room was on the third floor. We were capable of hauling our luggage up the stairs, but others might not be able to. There is no air conditioning. On most days, I'm sure that doesn't matter, but it was very warm in the room at night.

The highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast. Really comfortable beds with top bed lining.

Some surrounding houses are abandoned.

This place is steps away from the Ferry Port to cross from Ireland to Scotland. We stayed there instead of Edinburgh to avoid the one-hour drive to the Ferry Port. We were able to take the first Ferry at 7:00 am. The Staff was super, and Breakfast was superb. Accommodations were super comfy.

Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom and a tower fan. Parking was available right out front. We enjoyed our breakfast with omelets, fresh strawberries and grapes, croissants, yogurts and cereals.

Always love our stay in Seaview, the breakfast was just amazing & Carol is always so welcoming.

We can never fault our stay in Seaview, our only downfall was the shape of the room being on the top floor the roof was slanted. With a few to many vodka your nearly banging your head off it when you get out of bed to use the toilet lol! But overall yet another fabulous stay, already planning our next visit.

I stayed for one night at the tale end of a 2 week roadtrip and having stayed in 8 different properties during the trip, Seaview set the standard for what hospitality should be. The hosts genuine warmth and enthusiasm made me feel less like a guest and more like a cherished friend returning home. Every interaction was filled with warmth and thoughtful recommendations, including a lovely seafront walk to stretch my legs - nestled away from the hustle and bustle, Seaview was wonderfully peaceful and the decor throughout was wonderfully modern, with lovely touches including water in the rooms which was lovely for a parched traveller. Also loved the multiplicity of pillows which were so comfy. Breakfast was yummy with a self service buffet and scrummy full breakfast and omelettes available, I had to be on the road early or would have lingered in the breakfast room. If you're looking for a place that will exceed every expectation and remind you why travel can be so magical, stop looking – you've found it. This B&B represents everything that's wonderful about small, family-run hospitality. Book immediately, and prepare to be absolutely enchanted, I'll be back as soon as I can! Rating: 5 stars (would give 10 if I could) Note: I rarely write reviews this enthusiastic, but Seaview deserves every word of praise. Simply outstanding.

The outside appearance let it down

We parked in a car park across the road and received a friendly greeting on arrival. The room had all we needed, clean, comfy bed with a good shower The breakfast was excellent! They were quick to recommend local pubs for an evening meal.

Initially the exterior of the building seemed shabby, but I had no need to worry!

The B&B is handy for both the Larne and Belfast ferries. There is a nice little walk from the B&B along the shore. Great food served at The Olderfleet Pub which is 5 mins from Seaview. Rooms great and super comfortable, staff really friendly. Breakfast very nice indeed.
