Lovely hotel and very handy for the Ferry with plenty of parking. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good 👍

Well appointed room, very clean, all the basics there and everything worked. Decor good, outlook very pleasing. Good breakfast, with a selection of hot and cold food and drink. The adjacent restaurant which was separately run, but accessible through the hotel, had an excellent range of traditional and local dishes and reasonably priced.

As usual it is our stop over when returning home via the ferry. The staff are very helpful and solve any slight problem(changing the batteries in the card reader on the door lock). We expect to be back again next year.

Everything, it’s just super! ….the location…….the room, the people who work there …..really enjoyed the breakfast and it’s handy to have a very good independent restaurant next door if you don’t feel like wandering any more that day….

Pas grand-chose à reprocher à cet hôtel ! Situation pas exceptionnelle, mais permet des accès faciles sur Ouistreham et sur Caen et les environs

Vriendelijk personeel Lekker ontbijt Kleinschalig en dus rustig Kamer en vooral de badkamer is vrij klein, maar alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. Airco werkt prima.

Wij verluchten graag onze kamer, maar zonder vliegenraam krijg je al snel insecten binnen.

Perfect overnight stay of catching ferry. Helpful staff.

Bed move, poor bedding.

Stayed here three nights with the children. The hotel is not very large, which makes it more personal and friendly. The staff is very helpful and fluent in English. The lobby is like a cosy living room and packed with information about Normandy. A large chessboard was a perfect game for the kids. The breakfast is lovely with many fresh products. The pool is a welcome addition. If you need a friendly, clean hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff this one comes highly recommended.

De kamers waren enorm proper en altijd goed gekuist. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en altijd aanspreekbaar voor vragen en voor hulp. De ligging was goed om dingen met de auto te bereiken. Ontbijt was lekker en voldoende uitgebreid.

The location so near the port

The receptionist, Melanie, was adamant there were no seats in the restaurant, the ones at the port were too far to walk and would be full because of the fireworks (on the day before Bastille day?). Our only hope was to order in from the firm the hotel had a deal with (kickbacks?) The restaurant actually had plenty of seats outside. Melanie was sabotaging the restaurant which provided a passable meal.

We found the hotel a delightful place to stay. The staff very friendly and helpful . The hotel was in a quiet location with there is free gated parking. There is an on site restaurant which we ate at and found very convenient and the food was very good. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel was clean and the room was kept clean. I did find that during the day at busy times like check in they could do with more than one person attending to the needs of guests I would not hesitate to visit again as it is a good location for the ferry and to access the sights of Normandy beaches.

Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and worked hard. The room although small was cleaned daily and provided everything which H was needed. I also liked the french on sight parking.

There was nothing I could say against the hotel other than it might of benefited from two staff on at busy periods like change over days

Very pleasant and comfortable room. Very good breakfast. We ate in the adjacent restaurant on our first night. It is run separately from the hotel but certainly an added bonus if you don't want to venture into the town as the food was excellent. All in all it was a very good stay.

Location Easy to find from ferry port and ideally placed for our onward journey. Parking on site inc in the price, no codes, security gates etc to manage! Have used this hotel regularly for past few years for these reasons Breakfast is included and has plenty of options.

L'emplacement est top, à proximité de la mer, des musées, etc... Hôtel avec parking, très appréciable. La piscine est un plus même si elle est petite et elle était un peu sale. Le restaurant à côté est un vrai atout.

La chambre n’est pas à la hauteur pour un trois étoiles. Salle de bain très petite. Petit déjeuner très cher pour très peu de choix. Horaires de piscine trop courts. Café lyophilisé servi au bar 😕

This is our go to hotel, for catching the early ferry. It's a nice place to chill for the evening with friendly staff and an independently run restaurant next door if you don't want to venture further afield .

It was in a good location had a restaurant next door and it was a short walk into town and the beachfront.

A very friendly, helpful welcome sorted out an issue with the booking ( not their fault). This is a small very attractive hotel ideally situated for the ferry. The room was comfortable and very clean and the on-sight restaurant was a boon.

Unable to have breakfast, at hotel. Needed to get to ferry. Time constraint. But to be honest we will get up earlier so we can enjoy hotels breakfast. Ferry breakfast was not up to hotels standard. Our mistake!

Very easy to find from the ferry late at night and a lovely welcome at reception. Very comfortable bed and a kettle and tea bags for a drink in the room. Cold water to drink on the corridor. Breakfast in the morning had an excellent choice of food including bacon and delicious scrambled eggs., choice of breads and yogurts etc.

the 24 hour reception was marvellous as we arrived after 12pm local time after a long wait at Customs from the ferry from England. The receptionist was kind and helpful, taking some of our cases to the room for us. The Chambres Communicates (inter- connecting rooms) on the ground floor were very suitable for us. Breakfast was varied and replenished often: scrambled eggs, bacon, hard boiled eggs; different breads and patisseries; dried fruit, Muesli, Cornflakes. Cold meats and camembert. Soya milk was notable for dairy free provision.

The rooms had everything needed, but the en-suite was a little small. The toilet was especially cramped, being cheek by jowl with the wash basin one side and the shower cubicle the other side. However the water flow was wonderful! a good strong flow and instant hot water. The fan was too strong on the Climatisation. It made me cold and was like trying to sleep in a breeze. I found out how to switch it off in the end.
