Simon’s Town Guest House

Es war wunderbar hier bei Juliana und Wonderfull zu übernachten. Ein großes, komfortables Zimmer mit atemberaubendem Blick auf die False Bay. Das Bad ist nicht sehr groß aber wie alles hier sehr sauber und mit guter Dusche. Zum Frühstück gibt es eine große Auswahl, kalt und warm. Die Anfahrt ist sehr steil, dafür ist die Lage wunderschön. Und nachts sehr ruhig, nur die Wellen bei stärkerer Brandung. Definitiv eine Empfehlung wert!

Lovely spacious room with a sitting area and great sea view. Location is a little outside Simonstown but perfect for what we needed.

A little impersonal, partly because we checked in out of hours so did self check in. However Juliana was very helpful with check in procedures, recommending a local restaurant and contacting us regarding items we had left behind, we can’t fault the team at all.

Blick aus dem Zimmer zum Sonnenaufgang war sensationell. Unser Host nanens Wonderful ein sehr lieber und hilfsbereitwe Mensch. Diec Lk age zum Cape of Good Hope, ca. 1 Std. Fahrzeit. Gleich an de Auffahrt ein sehr gutes vLokal zum Abendessen.

Allt var bara bäst!!!

Gastvrij en prachtig uitzicht op zee. Kamer is stijlvol ingericht en goed bed. Ook sanitair ziet er prima uit. Het ontbijt (wat overigens niet bij de prijs in zit) was uitgebreid.

Wel een stijle klim vanaf de kustweg naar het appartement. Is zeker voor iets oudere mensen niet te doen.

Traumhafter Blick auf das Meer, alles super sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war etwas klein, aber ausreichend. Die Straße hoch zum Guesthouse ist abenteuerlich - gefühlt geht es senkrecht hoch. Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen, Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Omeletts/Eier wurden frisch nach unseren Wünschen zubereitet.

Der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken war so locker, wir hatten Angst, dass er abfällt. Und die Matratze war leider für uns zu hart und auf der rechten Seite schräg, ich hatte das Gefühl, ich rolle raus. Wenn ich mich weiter in die Mitte gelegt hab, wars okay.

It's a luxurious guest house with beautiful views even on the ground floor. The staff were very accommodating.

Das Zimmer war sehr liebevoll mit Blick zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Auf jeden Fall beide Daumen hoch!

Das Bett war ein bisschen hart, aber das ist ja Geschmacksache.

Lovely view of the ocean and very clean

There is a very steep drive to the property and steep access to take your luggage to your room. We were helped by a member of staff which was really appreciative.

The property was clean, tidy, and the architecture of the building was great! The building is set in a nice neighbourhood.

The property entrance door was a little disappointing as every time someone walked through the doors, you heard this loud thud that made you think someone was trying to break into the property. That was the only downside, that noise

Breakfast was served outside on the patio with a view of the ocean! And the breakfast was scrumptious!

I had to leave this wonderful place and come home... :-)

The property is just perfect. One can see the attention to detail, we felt at home - just with the added million dollar view. The hosts Juliana and Wonderfull were the best. Juliana went out of her way (w/o us asking) to get us halaal meat options for breakfast, which was already amazing. Did I mention the view, the most amazing outlook from the rooms over the beach. Let me not mention the cute doggie behind the upstairs door :-) . Thank you to our hosts for a most wonderful stay, from the moment we arrived, till the time we had to leave (sadly).

The view was amazing, the rooms are clean and tidy. Juliana and Wonderful were excellent host and made our stay superbly comfortable. Will definitely come back if we are visiting the area again!

We loved everything. Juliana and Wonderful the hosts were absolutely friendly ,helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing.Microwave,cutlery and glasses available for after hours. Amazing view. Bed comfy,shower nice pressure.Fridge in room helpful. 10/10. Highly recommended 🌺💯

Zuvorkommendes Personal was sich sofort gekümmert hat, als das Fenster im EG nicht geschlossen werden konnte. Daraufhin haben wir ein kostenloses Upgrade erhalten. Gutes Frühstück mit frisch zu bereitenten warmen Speisen wie Frenchtoast und Omelette.

Die sehr zentrale Lage wenn man die kapregion erkunden will

La vue exceptionnelle, le calme, l'amabilité du personnel, la chambre qui est grande et qui est une véritable suite avec son coin salon devant les fenêtres.

Côte importante pour parvenir à l'hôtel. Peu d'emplacements de parking facilement accessibles

Sehr freundlich, ruhige Lage. Absolut lobenswert: da wir sehr zeitig zum Flughafen abfahren mussten, durften wir etwas eher frühstücken. Dies ist nicht selbstverständlich für uns.

Das übliche Thema in den meisten Unterkünften: wenig Strom Steckdosen. Und die Anfahrt ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr steile An-/Auffahrt.

There was not anything we did not like no complaints from me.

The only problem we had was no water for our last evening and morning due to a burst pipe in the area. Fortunately for us we were leaving the next morning.

Wonderful room spacious and stylish. The whole place was immaculate and was a pleasure to be in.

What an enjoyable stay, loved waking up to a beautiful sea view and sunrise every morning. Juliana was very accommodating and looked after us. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. One of the nicest places I've stayed in. Would stay here again.

The most amazing outlook from the rooms over the beach. Very comfortable beds, spacious well equipped rooms, huge bathroom & fridge in the room. Delicious cooked breakfast & wonderful owner (Amanda) & staff, Wonderful & a lady whose name we didn’t get made us feel very welcome. Will definitely return, great location for getting around. Thanks Amanda & team, we had a great stay.

Fantastic view from the room, we can really recommend the Shingwesdzi room! Really comfortable bed and everything was very clean. Really friendly staff. We will definitely come back!

Everything was amazing!

This was an excellent stay. The hotel contacted us in advance to offer early access to the room and to confirm our arrival time. The hotel manager, Wonderful, was a welcoming and helpful host. The room was super clean, spacious and very comfortable with a wonderful sea view. The hotel is within walking distance of a good restaurant and grocery and wine stores are near by. Could not have asked for more.

Absolutely loved our stay. The host was very kind and helpful. She upgraded our room without us having to ask. Our room had the most stunning view of the ocean and the room was cleaned every day. I loved that the host provided water bottles each day.

Fantastic view, absolutely quiet area, perfect breakfast. Also the best mattress on the trip through South Africa (other were just super hard). We can just recommend to go there and even extended our stay. Thanks a lot to Nikkita and Amanda for everything!

There could be more sockets in the room, especially on both sides of the bed to charge mobile phones. But no big deal.

Beautiful nicely decorated guest house at a lovely location. Wonderful sea view from our room. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Very clean Delicious breakfast. Wonderful staff and hostess took very good care of us.

It was very clean The host was friendly & professional & kept in contact to ensure we checked in on time etc The rooms were spacious with spectacular view over the bay. Breakfast excellent choice. It seems that nothing was too much trouble.

It was on a steep hill so driving up or walking up from local restaurant could be difficult for some but the views more than compensate for that

Super location on the mountainside with views of the sea. Lovely large bedrooms en-suite, nice lounge & terrace. Ample breakfast. Our Hostess was very welcoming and helpful.

We stated between 3 and 4 p.m. to check in, but were already in Simons Town at 11 a.m. The friendly man called 'Wonderful' gave us a warm welcome and said early check-in wouldn't be a problem at all. He helped us carry our luggage up and showed us to our room. We were speechless. Perfectly and tastefully decorated, sparkling clean, equipped with everything your heart could desire and with an incredible view of the ocean, we were just overjoyed. Finding accommodation like this is like winning the lottery. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired. Fresh fruit salad, muesli, yoghurt, yes, you could even order a warm breakfast from Nikkita. Eggs in different variations, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes were available to choose from. Simons Town Guesthouse goes the extra mile to provide guests with a unique experience. Everything was just perfect thanks to the tireless efforts of Nikkita and Wonderful. Thank you both very much.

However, there is still one negative point to note: Unfortunately, we had to leave paradise after just one night. So my advice to all travelers: book more than one night at Simons Town Guesthouse!

We can highly recommend Simon's Townhouse. The reception by Wonderful was very friendly, the house very well maintained. Thanks to the beautiful location, it had a great view of the sea and was absolutely quiet apart from the sound of the waves. We really liked the room and there was nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness. I would especially like to mention the full English omelette for breakfast - I have never eaten a better one anywhere, simply perfectly prepared and very tasty! Merci, Reiner + Doris

Our stay was perfect!

So many little extras. The view was fantastic, small fridge in the room with lounge facilities with dishware and cutlery. Very easy to bring one's own food into the guesthouse. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed to find a medical clinic and pharmacy.

My guests absolutely loved it! The view is incredible and the place is very neat, clean and accomodating. Breakfast was also really good!

When we arrived, someone was already waiting to welcome us. We had a very nice, spacious room, with a perfect view. The breakfast was served in a nice breakfast-room and we had more than enough options to choose from.

Off course we knew that there was no swimming pool at this accomodation when we booked it, but this was something that we missed here.

The host has inverters, so won’t be troubled by the load shedding.

Residence is nice. But they should learn how to treat the guest.

The room was amazing with breathtaking views, and Amanda, the host, was very friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this property as the best place to stay in Simon’s Town!

Great views from comfortable rooms. Brilliant aircon. Lovely in room coffee. Close to Simon’s Town mall with Woolworths, steak house and brilliant Indian food takeaway. Boulders beach a short drive away for penguin viewing.

Very steep driveway but plenty of safe on street parking so not an issue. Unfortunately at the time of our visit there were fires in the whole area. Thankfully the property team kept us updated with the situation and we had a brilliant time despite the fires.

Very clean and lovely set up. Nikkita was fantastic and made us feel very welcome and we even shared a few laughs. Highly recommend :)

Breakfast was very good and always on time, Nikkita who runs the place was an absolute star, nothing was too much trouble for her. Always a happy smile and a welcoming warmth. We could not have asked for better. I would recommend a stay at the venue simply to meet her.
