Un très beau logement , l'hôte Marlene est un personnage attachant et toujours prêt à rendre service . La vue est superbe, la chambre est confortable avec une belle douche et un balcon agréable.

N'essayez pas d'aller a pied au restaurant le plus proche. Pensez qu'il faudra remonter cette terrible pente 🤣

This was one of the best BnB experiences in SA. Our host - Maureen was such a lovely and hospitable person, she made sure that we had everything we needed and ensured that our stay was comfortable. The place gave a home away from home vibes and we would definitely book this place again when we’re in Simons town

Sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Bucht vom Zimmer mit Meerblick, wir haben es genossen morgens zum Meer zu gehen und eine Runde im Tidal Pool zu schwimmen. Zurück muss man zwar steil bergauf, aber danach ist man richtig wach und kann direkt wieder die tolle Aussicht genießen.

It's a beautiful house, nice view of the ocean (over the road and railroad tracks), friendly staff.

Its on an incredibly steep hillside, and almost nothing you can walk to (just one restaurant). We also had loud smoking neighbors on the adjoining decks so we opted not to sit out there.

Проживание подходит, как для тихого уединения и созерцания океана, так и для активного отдыха, рядом находятся пляжи, магазины, вмнодельни.

Maison impeccablement entretenue et pleine de charme, avec une vue splendide sur l'océan. Juliane est une hôtesse attentive à ses hôtes du petit déjeuner jusqu'au soir. Chambre avec sa terrasse face à l'océan très agréable. Rue sûre où nous avons pu facilement garer la voiture (et Juliane a aussi une place de parking fermé). Ces trois nuits sont passées à toute vitesse, on regrette de ne pas avoir prévu un séjour plus long.

A scenic location and there was even a garage for our car. Well suited for exploring False Bay. Excellent fruit salad to start off a substantial breakfast. Gillian was a friendly and helpful host.

Safe and quiet locality. Amazing view from the terrace. Very professional service and a nice warm atmosphere. Excelent breakfast. There is a good restaurant Dixies in a walking distance too. And it is possible to park the rented car in a garage, that also increase the comfort of the stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Moonglow Guesthouse. The hosts were incredibly kind, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They gave us so many useful recommendations, made us feel truly cared for, and every morning treated us to an amazing breakfast. The house itself is wonderful — full of cozy, unique details and original artwork that create a very special atmosphere. The views are breathtaking from everywhere: our room, the lounge area, and all the balconies and patios. You can admire both the bay and the mountains, and it feels magical at any time of day. The guesthouse combines comfort, cleanliness, warmth, and attention to detail — everything we needed for a perfect stay. Our upgraded room even had an additional bed prepared for our child, which was extremely thoughtful. Highly recommend choosing the larger, upgraded room for maximum comfort.

Definitely request a seaside view for the patio access. Very spacious room with a personal bathroom and plenty of cabinet space and windows to open if you’d like to hear the waves.

We went there for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, it was really awesome! the place is clean and the views are just beautiful. We definately going back again to visit.

Jillianne is a very charming, informative and warm host. The house has stunning views across False Bay and back towards Simon’s Town. Jillianne’s dinner recommendation at Dixie’s (just down the road) was awesome. Her delicious home cooked breakfast and our conversation were lovely; really memorable. Just like home.

It’s not brand new, it’s lived in; very homely and welcoming. There’s nothing we didn’t like.

We had a great stay at Gillian’s place. We booked last minute but there weren’t any issue. The room was big, well decorated and well equipped. The view from the balcony is incredible. The place is very safe and there’s a restaurant 5 min walking. The breakfast prepared by Gillian was very tasty and we had a nice chat with her in the morning. You can tell she pays attention to details to ensure her guests have the best stay. We only stayed one night but we would have been happy to stay longer in this amazing place. Thanks again!!

Charming facility equally charming host. Home from home.

Not one complaint

The view is amazing and definitely stands out in this one. But also the nice interior of all common rooms have a unique style and charme. There is a 🦜 that visited us during breakfast. The host was very kind and left no room for complaint. You can reach the tidal pool in a few minutes if you are keen to dip in the ocean during sun rise.

We enjoyed our comfortable stay at Moonglow. Excellent service and a good breakfast that keeps you for the whole day. Safe parking and good internet. Breathtaking views, shops nearby and lots to see and do in the area. It's definitely a place to go and stay over again.

The Moonglow Guesthouse has a nice and cosy atmosphere with the most amazing views on the bay. We were very happy to spend two nights here on our roadtrip in De Kaap. The breakfast in the morning is the perfect start of the day, and the restaurant Dixies on walking distance of the guesthouse was a nice recommendation we received.

The property is located on the hills in a peaceful neighborhood. It is a short driving distance to Simon’s Town. We enjoyed the view from the balcony at sunset. The hostess is very helpful if you need any recommendations or assistance during your stay. We felt at home. We also loved the very friendly dogs.

The view took your breath away. Panoramic view of the sea different colours every day you look . Gillian was an excellent host charming and interesting but not overbearing. She made excellent omelettes for breakfast three days in a row!

The location and view was amazing, and the bed was super comfy. Such a lovely home cooked breakfast with a good selection of continental elements and your choice of hot cooked options. Gillian was so helpful and even allowed me to keep my bags safe at the property after I had checked out while I was on a day trip.

What a lovely guesthouse. The views. The room. The comfy bed. Gillian is a superb host - so attentive, polite and what a breakfast she cooks! I enjoyed using the light and airy communal area to catch up on work during the day - the views from the office were pretty epic that day. This place is conveniently located between Kalk Bay and Simon's Town where I ate at some superb restaurants. There's also a handy mini mall with two supermarkets, just a short walk away.

The owner was very kind and helping. The breakfast was delicious.
