Beautiful room. My husband had told the hotel reception it was our Ruby wedding anniversary and a beautiful rose,Rose petals and macarons had been left. All totally unexpected. The restaurant team were amazing and the standard of food exceedingly good. Max the sommelier who helped us choose our wines was a credit to the hotel. He even left details of where we could buy the wines locally at. Reception.

The porter Sebastien and the concierge Matthieu were both fantastic. Matthieu arranged an incredible wine tasting for us at a small domaine at last minute and it was all included in the room rate. Sebastien took incredible care of us ensuring we moved in to the room comfortably and was very funny and charming.

Confort de la chambre, cadre très sympa, le restaurant gastronomique, cependant nous avions déjà eu deux dégustations alors que le vin n'était toujours pas pris en commande !

Parking payant 30 euros supplémentaires au tarif déjà bien élevé de la chambre pour que notre voiture couche dehors on ne sait où! Facturation de 12 euros supplémentaire pour obtenir une omelette au petit déjeuner alors que le buffet était bien pauvre pour un 5 étoiles !

Hôtel charmant et merveilleux. Le personnel incroyablement souriant et disponible. Une chambre duplex très belle. A 10 minutes du centre de Beaune, sur le boulevard contournant ce centre ville. Pdj royal sans suppléments.

Sehr gute Lage, man ist schnell zu Fuß in der Altstadt.

Das Frühstück und der Service dort. Es gab nur Rührei in einer großen Schale, die leer war. Der Sevice hat uns mehrfach vertröstet, es würde sofort aufgefüllt und nach 20 Min. war es immer noch leer. Für 30€/Person fanden wir das nicht OK. Vom Service hätten wir uns eine Lösung gewünscht.

Thus is a 5 Star propert. Great location, nice setting, grounds exceptional.

5 Star property with 3 Star service. No initiative, quite frankly energy, evident from the staff. Minimal help with restaurants and activities. It all starts with leadership and training. It’s a big opportunity! PS Start with the internet service!

The location and staff are fantastic! The restaurant Clos du Cedre, 1 Michelin star, is very good!

The bed (we are in a queen bed room) was two single put together, this was very disappointing for us. The pillows are small and hard, we claim to change and in the second night them attend us. The breakfast is good, but we waiting more for this level of hotel, a short options from kitchen and the service to much slow!

Das Bistro ( es nennt sich Table Gourmande !! ) ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen. Das sogenannte Fitness hat die Grösse einer Abstellkammer und ist definitiv unbrauchbar.

Solides Hotel mit offensichtlicher Tradition. Die Lage ist sehr gut; Valet, Gepäck-Service und Rezeption sind ebenfalls einwandfrei. Die Zimmer sind ok bis gut eingerichtet, Infrastruktur funktioniert, Badezimmer-/Dusche sehr gut. Getränke in der Minibar im Preis inbegriffen. Wir fühlten uns trotz gewisser Mängel sehr wohl. Schöner und gepflegter Aussenbereich.

Die Kurzparkmöglichkeiten vor dem Hotel sind räumlich sehr beschränkt, v.a. parkieren dort Autos, bei denen man sich fragt, wieso machen/dürfen die das. Dem Personal beim Frühstück und Abendessen (Clos Du Cèdre) fehlt es zum Teil an der professionellen, aufrichtigen Freundlichkeit und dem echten Interesse am Gast, die ich mir bei einem 5-Sterne Haus, bzw. 1-Stern Michelin Restaurant erhoffe. Ich erwarte absolut keine Bücklinge, aber ich möchte auch nicht froh sein müssen, dort mein Frühstück einnehmen zu dürfen. Das sogenannte "Hi-Speed"-WLAN war eine Katastrophe, unzuverlässig und alles andere als Hi-Speed. Den bereits in anderen Kommentaren erwähnte starke Geruch von Rauch im Barbereich muss man mögen (oder nicht). Und zu guter Letzt: Das alles ist viel zu teuer. Preise nahezu bei einem Top-Hotel in Paris oder London, aber für das Gebotene deutlich zu hoch. Allerdings, das Hotel war rege besucht, also offenbar gibt es keinen Anlass, etwas zu ändern.

This beautiful hotel was perfect! The bed was super comfortable, shower hot and high pressured water, and the lounge with fireplace and bar was probably our favourite place to unwind after days exploring the cellars and vineyards of the region. Staff were exceptional too, and very helpful. We loved our stay and did not want to leave!

A wonderful hotel in Beaune with a great fireplace - perfect for cold rainy nights.

Spectacular stay—truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely lovely. Our room was stunning (and incredibly spacious), and we were welcomed with the most delicious macarons from the pastry chef—such a thoughtful touch. Mon dieu! The location couldn’t have been better—just a beautiful, easy stroll into town and to the train. Do yourself a favor and stay here. I only wish we had more time to enjoy the spa and dine at the Michelin-starred restaurant!

The room was clean, bed comfortable, and room adequately spacious. The staff was across the board helpful and warm. That said, the prices for accommodation, breakfast and bar service are a touch high. The in room WiFi service was impossible to access, which was frustrating. Can’t fail a basic requirement like that and expect a top rating. Coasting a bit on Burgundy chic and maybe being the best in town?

Cèdre Beaune is perfectly situated just steps from the heart of Beaune, a charming and lively little town. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with lovely grounds that add to its boutique feel. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, checked in, and even shown two different rooms before choosing the one we originally booked. Our room was cozy, thoughtfully appointed, and made even more special with rose petals on the bed and a sweet treat for our 4‑year anniversary. The hotel offers a small fleet of bikes for rent, which we highly recommend. We spent the day riding through several nearby villages, stopping for an unforgettable lunch at Restaurant Le Terroir — truly one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The only drawback was the service in the bar and lounge area. Guests are not allowed to bring their own wine to enjoy on the back terrace or in the living room, even though those spaces are designed for relaxing and socializing. After paying over €100 for two glasses of wine on our first night, we chose to purchase excellent local bottles in town, but the staff was hesitant to let us sit downstairs with them. They eventually agreed, and we enjoyed cheese and snacks that we happily ordered from the hotel. Overall, it was a very good stay — and likely the best hotel option in Beaune.

Onmogelijke douche. Je moet in bad douchen. Je kunt moeilijk bij de knoppen en er is geen douche matje. Als je niet oppast ga je onderuit. Blijft onbegrijpelijk dat busjes shampoo etc onleesbaar en je niet weet wat je gebruikt. Ik sta niet met bril op onder douche. Parkeren en ontbijt wel duur.

I thought €30 for parking was a bit steep, especially as their electric chargers were not working. They also charged us €30 for our cocker spaniel. We didn’t realize this until the next morning when we checked out. Most places charge €20. However, we would stay there again. You’ve just got to be careful about the extra charges. We didn’t eat in the restaurant I didn’t pre-book it as we would’ve been charged if we had changed our mind.

We read about this hotel in a reputable uk newspaper so after 10 years visiting Beaune we changed loyalty… big mistake!.. I won’t ramble on but the gourmet dinner at 150 euros each was one of the worst meals I have ever had … and I’m 70 so have had many meals!.. we made our feelings very clear to the waitress ( who was great) and then to the management … the latter seemed powerless so I escalated it to the GM… nothing was forthcoming and not even an apology … my summary is the management are arrogant and there are so many better places in Beaune!
