Lovely little hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little chaotic on one of the mornings due to high volume of people.

Pool area was a little cramped so we preferred the beach which was very close by

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nicer than I expected and comfortable and the location was great with lots off tavernas and cafes nearby

There is a large construction site across the road which woke us up early in the morning. It would have been nice to have received a heads up message about it, but they didn't even mention it when we checked in. Also, the shower has a glass wall that looks directly into the bedroom. If I hadn't been travelling with my husband but with a friend or family member it would have been very awkward.

This hotel doesn't offer good value for the price. There are currently construction sites all around it where large hotels are being built, which cause noise and block the view. The breakfast was very low-quality. Plain bread, instant scrambled eggs, and cheap sausage and cheese. The staff was very slow to clean the tables for new guests.

Gute Lage. Nah am Strand. Supermärkte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Beim Frühstück genug Auswahl. Zustand ist im ganzen in Ordnung.

Manchmal ist es zu laut abends und in der Nacht. Im Gebäude neben an lief ständig ein lauter Lüfter ( Zimmer zum Innenhof)

Poolberecht hätte weniger liegen lassen müssen man liegt sehr eng aneinander!

Ci sono stati due giorni in cui l’acqua è mancata nelle camere per due ore.

Το ξενοδοχείο πρόσφερε 24/7 reception, πλούσιο πρωινό, καθαρή πισίνα, bar και lounge, υπηρεσία καθαριότητας καθημερινά και το προσωπικό ήταν φιλικό και ευγενικό.

Odalar son derece temiz ve özenliydi. Kahvaltı hem çeşitliliği hem de lezzetiyle gerçekten çok güzeldi. Tüm çalışanlar güler yüzlü, nazik ve ilgiliydi. Ayrıca check-out sonrasında vapur saatimize kadar havuzu kullanmamıza izin vermeleri de bizim için çok güzel bir jest oldu. Genel olarak konaklamamızdan oldukça memnun kaldık temizlik, hizmet kalitesi ve misafirperverlik açısından gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye edebileceğim bir otel.

Çok istisnai bir durum olarak, gece ayağımı yaraladım ve resepsiyondaki gece müdüründen oksijenli su istedim ancak beni anlayamadı. Daha sonra anlaşabildiğimizde ise ilk yardım kitinin olmadığını söyledi. Neyse ki sabah vardiyasındaki resepsiyonist hemen yardımcı oldu. Ancak bu nedenle sabaha kadar beklemek zorunda kaldım.

Most important thing at this hotel are the staff - Xristina, Statis, Sophia & Dimitra. They are the reason we return every year. Rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable. Location is perfect for us.

La posizione,le camere, la pulizia e la colazione

Staff inesistente, alla reception non avevano una piantina della città, abbiamo chiesto gli orari del pullman per l’aeroporto e dove era la fermata e ci hanno detto che era a 20 minuti a piedi quando in realtà stava sotto l’hotel. Alle 7 di mattina siamo scese per il check out e abbiamo chiesto qualcosa per colazione da portare via e ci è stata negata.

La camera vista mare

Otel temiz, mobilyalar yeni, konforlu ve konum güzeldi, plaja, restoranlara, eski şehire ve her yere yürüme mesafesinde. Kahvaltı çeşitliliği iyiydi. Banyo-tuvalet geniş ve çok kullanışlıydı, duvarının cam olması sizi yanıltmasın, buzlu cam olduğu için problem olmuyor. Personel son derece güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi.

Odalar fotoğraflarda göründüğünden daha dar. Balkon var ama diğer otelin balkonuna bakıyor, herkesin birbirini izliyor olması rahatsız edici. Havlular otel kuralı gereği üç günde bir değişiyor ama hava nemli olduğu için maalesef kurumuyor, bu kural gözden geçirilmeli. Gerçi biz resepsiyondan rica ettik, yardımcı olmaktan çekinmediler ve değiştirildi. Otel civarı gece gündüz çok gürültülü maalesef

Πλούσιος μπουφές στο πρωινό. Μουσικές βραδιές στο μπαρ του ξενοδοχείου. Καλή τοποθεσία.

Είχε μόνο ένα ασανσέρ ενώ οι επισκέπτες είναι πολλοί.

Ήταν σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο το δωμάτιο ανακαινισμένο με όλες τις βασικές παροχές και ανέσεις με μπαλκόνι. Το προσωπικό στη ρεσεψιόν εξαιρετικά εξυπηρετικό. Το πρωινό πολύ καλό με πολλές επιλογές.

Είναι πολύ δύσκολο να παρκάρεις στους γύρω δρόμους και δεν υπάρχει επιλογή ούτε για ιδιωτικό parking. Επίσης η καθημερινή καθαριότητα του δωματίου ήταν ελλιπής.

Great position

Breakfast quality could be better

The hotel is well located, the bathrooms are excellent, the staff are helpful and the breakfast selection is extensive, although much of it consists of highly processed, industrial food not healthy. Overall, it is a hotel that is neither particularly good nor particularly bad. Some aspects are genuinely positive, while others are in serious need of improvement. The stay is perfectly manageable as long as you arrive with realistic expectations.

The internet works intermittently, the tiny tiny pool is constantly overcrowded making it rather difficult to actually enjoy, the lift is painfully slow and clearly inadequate for the number of guests staying at the hotel, the floors in the rooms are poorly cleaned, the rooms are not soundproofed, there’s no locker in the room, and the view is, to put it mildly, appalling. To be fair, if you read the reviews beforehand, you more or less know what to expect, so none of this came as a complete surprise. However, despite booking more than six months in advance and specifically requesting a room facing the other side of the hotel, I was graciously rewarded with a room on a low floor overlooking abandoned and half-demolished buildings, where construction work appears to have been going on since sometime in the last century. Needless to say, the noise is included in the high price.

El ruido, al lado de nuestra habitación había un aparato de aire acondicionado que hacia muchísimo ruido, no se podía salir a la terraza que tenía la habitación. También había mucho ruido en la calle por la noche, a las 3 de la madrugada se oía mucho ruido con las ventanas cerradas.

Odaları dar. Odada kilitli kasa yok. İsterseniz resepsiyonun yakınında kiralama yapmanız gerekiyor. Oda temizlikçileri uyarı yapmaksızın, pervasızca odaya dalıyorlar. İlk gün banyoda ayak havlusu yoktu. Restoranda kirli tabak ve bardak gibi malzemeleri kendinizin kaldırması isteniyor. Kahvaltı kalitesi vasat.

Posizione e gentilezza staff.

Nice and very clean hotel with a good location. Rooms were good and the housekeeping was doing a good work. All the personnel working in Hotel Athena were extremely friendly. They were doing their work very professionally but also with a smile and a good humour. Definitely a good choice for your accommodation.

Kolejny bardzo udany pobyt. Byliśmy tu z żoną już nie pierwszy raz i znowu wszystko było super. Świetna lokalizacja, bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna obsługa, przyjemna atmosfera i naprawdę dobre warunki do odpoczynku. To po prostu miejsce, do którego chce się wracać. My na pewno jeszcze tu zawitamy!

The breakfast can be better. Also at the breakfast we have to clean and move all the staff from the table like the food and the plates and separate them in one at her desk (except from cleaning the table) like we are in a camp! Also the glass at the bathroom is not suitable if you travel with company that you doesn’t want to see you use the toilet or taking a shower.

The first experience was before our stay. The messages were got were unpleasant and rude. They even suggested us to change the hotel. Furthermore, we booked 3 rooms but eventually did not get the rooms we had paid for. Be very careful with the room types, they are confusing and they don't offer you the options you have requested upon. We made a mistake with that. We got no information about the evening programme in the hotel what so ever. But overall, Athena was a decent and clean hotel. But does not deserve more than 3 stars.

התארחנו במלון 6 ימים שבהם החליפו לנו מגבות וניקו את החדר פעם אחת בלבד, גם כאשר ביקשנו להחליף מגבות מלוכלכות למגבות נקיות סרבו, ארוחת בוקר דלילה.

il bagno è veramente piccolo e scomodo. la doccia è dentro la vasca da bagno, rischi di scivolare e l'acqua tende a fuoriuscire per terra. Non ci sono molte soluzioni per lavarsi le parti intime .

Geceleri gürültülü. Ayrıca banyo ve tuvaletlerinin içerisi görünüyor. Rahat edemedik.

Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να σε εξυπηρετήσει... ιδιαίτερα η κ. Χριστίνα στην υποδοχή. Η Ρόδος γενικά έχει πλούσια φυσική ομορφία και καλούς ανθρώπους.

Γενικά οι τιμές στη Ρόδο και η τιμή του ξενοδοχείου, (πάντα σε σχέση με τη ποιότητα-τιμή) ήταν περισσότερη από όσο άξιζε... Βέβαια στην Ελλάδα οι φόροι τσακίζουν.... Οι δημοτικές αρχές γενικά ήταν απούσες (οι δρόμοι δεν ήταν ιδιαίτερα καθαροί, δεν έβρισκές εύκολα κάλαθους απορριμμάτων).

Really everything was good. The only thing I did not like is an absent of drinking water especially near the pool. You need to buy it and it is very unusual for hotel in hot country

Great location. Friendly staff helped with any questions. Delicious drinks and snacks at the bar.

There is no safe in the room. The view from the balcony is directly on the windows of the neighboring hotel. Some technical renovation is needed. The hairdryer did not work well and the key card did not work, we had to use the key additionally.

Το πρωινο ηταν καλο. Θα μπορουσε να ειχε περισσοτερη ποικιλια. Η τοποθεσια ηταν εξαιρετικη. Εξερευνησαμε ολη την περιοχη σχεδον με τα ποδια.

המלון ממוקם בעיר החדשה ונגיש להכל במרחק הליכה ומרגיש במרכז העניינים, מבנה המלון מיושן ופחות מזמין אבל החדרים שופצו והם ממש אחלה למעט הזכוכית שמפרידה בין חדר המקלחת למיטה, המזגן והמיני בר עבדו מעולה בכל השהות, הצוות היה אדיב, אזור הבריכה היה נוח והמשקאות בבר היו טובים ובמחירים סבירים. ביחס למלונות אחרים באזור במחיר גבוה יותר, התמורה הייתה טובה.

ארוחת הבוקר הייתה דלה מידיי עבורי וחזרה על עצמה כל יום, חלק מהמנות לא היו חמות ובמקושקשת הורגש כי שמו סוכר. מוזר גם שיש עמדה לפינוי כלי האוכל לרשות האורחים. החלפת מגבות היא אחת לכל 3 ימי שהייה, ניקיון וסידור החדר נעשה כל יום. הזכוכית שמפרידה בין המקלחת והשירותים לחדר השינה, גם אם בחלקה היא זכוכית לבנה יש מי שירגישו ממש לא בנוח להיות שם עם משפחה או חברים, לי זה פחות הפריע כי שהיתי לבד. אין ממש נוף, צד אחד פונה למרפסות המלון ממול וצד אחר פונה לרחוב ולמבנה לא מאוכלס. עלות של 2 אירו לכספת קטנה שנמצאת בלובי, כי בחדר אין כספת. הודעה שנשלחה למלון יומיים לפני ההגעה נענתה רק אחרי שכבר הייתי במלון.

L’emplacement, les équipements, la beauté de l’aménagement et de l’ameublement, quasiment tout !

L’armoire à vêtements , car elle n’est pas du tout pratique : tout est trop haut. Un petit escabeau est prévu pour atteindre la tringle et les étagères, mais pour des seniors, ce n’est pas l’idéal. Lorsque j’ai réservé par Booking, je pensais que c’était une résidence hôtelière avec plusieurs appartements et une réception dans le même immeuble. En fait il s’agissait juste d’un appartement dans un immeuble, appartement qui peut être aussi loué par Air b’nb. Ce devrait être plus clair lorsqu’on réserve. J’étais déçue car il n’y avait pas de réception, juste un homme qui est venu lors de notre arrivée et que l’on n’a pas revu. Nous devions juste laisser les clés dans l’appartement et claquer la porte pour notre départ.

Mega przyjemna obsługa, Pani Koula - rewelacja, właściwą osobą na właściwym miejscu , śniadanie takie standardowe, jazdy coś znajdzie dla siebie, sprzątane codziennie, klimatyzacja , hotel w centrum miasta, fajny basen i dobre drinki nie w wygórowanej cenie

Lekki dyskomfort, bedac w prysznicu osoby w pokoju widza Twioje stopy :D

Świetna lokalizacja. Przystanek autobusowy na lotnisko zlokalizowany około 10 minut od hotelu (na nogach). Do Starego Miasta Rodos można było dojść na nogach w około 20 minut, natomiast do Uniwersytetu w około 30 minut. Plaża znajdowała się za rogiem, jakieś 5 minut. W okolicy było sporo sklepów i restauracji. Z okolic hotelu można było w około 5 minut dotrzeć do miejsc zbiórek lokalnych organizatorów wycieczek. Pokój był przestronny. Był dostęp do czajnika i lodówki, co było bardzo pomocne. Śniadania były pyszne i różnorodne. W wolnej chwili można było zrelaksować się przy basenie. W pokoju było wyjście na balkon, co wieczorami umilało pobyt. Personel był pomocny i sympatyczny.

Πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο ανακαινισμένο, καθαρό,, πλούσιο πρωινό,το προσωπικό ευγενικό, πρόθυμο,με το χαμόγελο στα χείλη να μας εξυπηρετήσει σε όλα.Το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα,θα το ξαναεπισκεφτούμε. Σας ευχαριστούμε!!!

Ωραίο, άνετο δωμάτιο και ωραίο πρωινό. Η τοποθεσία επίσης είναι πολύ βολική.

הצוות היה מקסים ועזרו בכל דבר. החדר היה נקי.

הנוף מהמרפסת היא לתוך מרפסת של חדרי מלון אחר. אין פרטיות בכלל מהמרפסת או נוף. המעלית התקלקלה וחצי מהזמן עלינו וירדנו ברגל שש קומות. האוכל היה סביר, לא יותר. המלון לא הכי נקי או מטופח- בשירותים ליד הבריכה לא היה אפילו מנעול לדלת.

The property is in a good location with good breakfast!

Some of the staff were helpful and friendly and some of them were not as nice. It was very noisy near the bars and there is also construction nearby. Also, the air con is locked so you cannot adjust it yourself and the WiFi didn’t work well in the room.

La situación del hotel es buena y las instalaciones también

El desayuno es pésimo. La fruta luce por su ausencia. No había y ni se la esperaba. Por favor que la quiten de las fotos de promoción. No te cambian las toallas en 3 días. No te dan más que 1 llave…….

I have stayed at this hotel before, but this time it was a major disappointment. The quality has clearly declined. The website shows renovated rooms, but in reality the standard rooms are outdated, worn out, with tiny bathrooms that look like they are from the 80s–90s. The breakfasts are very poor, with hardly anything to choose from. The fruit is apparently meant for all guests: one kiwi, one peach, one banana, and one apple for the entire dining area. To be clear — this is for all guests at breakfast. In the middle of the season, there are no watermelons or melons at all. The outdoor tables are dirty, with no tablecloths or even napkins. Overall, a complete disappointment.

Δεν υπήρχαν καθημερινά καθαρές πετσέτες, τις αλλαζαν κάθε 3 μέρες, το δωμάτιο δεν καθαριζοταν κάθε μερα αλλα μέρα παρα μέρα και στο πρωινό υπήρχε αναμονή 10 λεπτών για να φέρουν καθαρά πιάτα, φλυτζάνια και ποτήρια.

We liked our superior room, nicely renovated and clean. In general it is good location and good value if you want to stay in the city and reach all restaurants on foot. Breakfast was good, enough of variety, some fresh fruits always served. We didn’t use hotel’s pool, so I can’t comment on that, but space around pool looked tight.

If you sleep sensitive, it gets a bit loud at night from the cars in the streets.

We spent more than half an hour to find a parking spot
