Podobało nam się wszystko- lokalizacja ; fantastyczne jedzenie , jego jakość przewyższyła nasze oczekiwania; wielkość i wyposażenie pokoju , prywatny basen ; dobra jakość wi-fi ; rewelacyjna obsługa zwłaszcza profesjonalizm kelnera o imieniu Nikos ; przesympatyczny pan w barze basenowym ; przemiłe osoby w recepcji i wiele więcej . Hotel jest fantastyczny , dla tych co szukają ciszy i spokoju , nie tęsknią do imprezowania , dobrze się czują przy muzyce na żywo . Jest to hotel do którego chętnie byśmy pojechali kolejny raz i być może tak się stanie w przyszłości . Jego trzy ogromne atuty to : fantastyczne jedzenie , wielkość ( a raczej " małość " bo ma tylko 66 pokoi i przesympatyczna obsługa .

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were exceptional, always smiling and providing the best service throughout our visit. The breakfast buffet was very good and the à la carte dinner was excellent as well. A special thanks to Katerina for her fantastic restaurant recommendations in Platanias and Chania, they really made our trip even better. Highly recommend!

The property was stunning, with a beautiful pool area and a private beach that made us forget how busy the rest of the region was.

Notre chambre était également impeccable, d’une propreté irréprochable. Merci également à Christina du spa, adorable et toujours de très bons conseils. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis accueillis et chouchoutés. Will be nice to have more diversity in breakfast buffet

Our stay at Aterion Suites & Spa in Crete was wonderful, and what impressed us most was the way the team handled an unexpected situation. When we arrived, we had booked a room with a sea view, based on the photos shown on Booking. We were initially informed that the room category was the same, but located in a different area of the property. Instead of simply explaining the situation, the team immediately looked for a solution to make us happy. The very next day, thanks to a check-out from another guest, they were able to move us to a truly spectacular room: a beautiful sea view suite with a private pool and a terrace overlooking the sea and the main pool area. This is when you truly recognize professionals: not when everything is easy, but when something needs attention. A special mention goes to Katerina, who always welcomed us with a genuine smile. She is an excellent problem solver, incredibly kind and professional, especially considering she has only recently joined the team. She gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants, parking, and places to visit, making our stay even more enjoyable. Thanks to her suggestions, we discovered incredible spots, authentic Greek tavernas with excellent food, fresh fish, breathtaking sunsets, and unforgettable hospitality. We would also like to thank Yianni, the supervisor, who personally assisted us with the room change and went above and beyond on our last day by offering us a room to freshen up before our departure and arranging lunch for us. This level of care was truly unexpected and deeply appreciated. The entire team is professional, welcoming, competent, and always smiling. Congratulations to the General Manager, Mr George, for creating and managing such a beautiful property with a strong sense of harmony and attention to guests. The food was excellent, and even the pizza was a pleasant surprise, including the one with feta, which was delicious!

Stunning beach front property with amazing food and attentive staff at the bar and restaurant. The à la carte menu was delicious and served all day which we loved.

They say they don’t allow bed saving by the pool but every morning towels were covering beds and no signs by the pool.

Everything in this hotel was amazing : the staff is very careful, the restaurant is absolutely divine and the spa is sooo relaxing. We’ve had a couple massage with my husband and the spa team really took care of us, offering us a delicious moment. We spent an amazing week

Alles! Wir waren schon in vielen Hotels in Griechenland, aber dieses war wirklich das Schönste, das wir je besuchen durften. Vom Design, dem geräumigen Zimmer, dem mehr als freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Service (mit Liegen-Service) bis hin zum sehr leckeren Essen: es war perfekt! Der Strandabschnitt ist sehr ruhig und es war wirklich immer noch eine Liege frei. Rundum alles perfekt für einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Vielen Dank - wir werden auf jeden Fall zurückkommen.

The staff tries their hardest to make due with the terrible conditions, but are not trained at a 5-star level. The cleaners don't come, or enter the room when the privacy sign is up, the kitchen staff mishandles food, the coffee and drinks never arrive (plus the cocktails are bad), there is no concierge, the guest relations lady was pushy and aggressive, the spa staff is not trained at high standard, etc. Despite that, everyone is trying their hardest and are really nice, and I am sorry that these nice people have to work in these conditions.

SCAM - I have no idea how this hotel has such high reviews, and wouldn't be surprised if they are paid/bots. This is NOT a 5-star luxury resort, but it is advertised and priced as a 5-star luxury resort. If you've ever been to a real 5-star luxury resort (such as the JW Marriott, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Bulgari Dubai, etc.) then you will be extremely disappointed, and will be looking for a refund. The hotel and service is maybe that of a basic 2 or 3 star family hotel near the beach, which was refurbished to look a bit fancy and has great pictures (congratulations to the photographer for making this mess look like a luxury resort). I tried to list my issues but there are so many that I'm going over the word count. The short version is that the property does not match what is advertised and is not up to standard (we found heavy dust, cobwebs, mold, rust, blood, insect carcasses, drug paraphernalia, exposed wiring, equipment past inspection dates, unsafe handling of food, unauthorized access of the room, and much much more). At this point we are requesting a refund and contacting authorities, this was the worst hotel experience we ever had.

Our stay at Asterion Suites & Spa was simply exceptional and truly felt like coming home. We initially stayed for three nights, but after an unpleasant experience elsewhere on the island, we found ourselves returning to Asterion because we genuinely missed it. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by Manolis and Mike at reception, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect throughout our stay. The hospitality at this hotel is outstanding. Special highlight and big thank you to the Service Manager Manolis and his restaurant team made every meal feel special. Rosa, Maria and Kostas were incredibly kind, attentive and always remembered our preferences. Every member of staff treated us like family, creating a warm and personal atmosphere from the first day until the last. The breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious every single day. On one occasion, when we had to leave very early for a hike, the chef spontaneously offered to prepare a lunch box for us. This level of care and thoughtfulness perfectly reflects the service culture throughout the hotel. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We were also impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was beautifully maintained every day, and the entire property was spotless. Even the gardeners took great pride in maintaining the beautiful surroundings, always greeting guests with a smile. Last but not least, a special thank you to Ekaterina from Guest Relations, who was always present, approachable and genuinely interested in making every guest’s stay memorable. The location is excellent for exploring the western part of Crete, making it an ideal base for travelers who enjoy discovering the island. Combined with the exceptional service, outstanding cleanliness and genuine hospitality, Asterion Suites & Spa delivered one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had. To the entire team: thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel Adults Only. La chambre était spacieuse, très confortable et parfaitement entretenue. La salle de bain était impeccable, moderne et fonctionnelle. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le grand balcon avec vue sur la mer, un vrai plus pour profiter du cadre exceptionnel. Les infrastructures sont également de grande qualité : la piscine est magnifique, très agréable pour se détendre, et l’accès à la plage privée apporte un véritable sentiment d’exclusivité. Concernant le petit-déjeuner, il était copieux et assez varié, avec un large choix de produits de qualité. C’est toutefois le seul point qui pourrait être amélioré. Compte tenu du standing de l’établissement et du tarif pratiqué, nous aurions apprécié la présence de quelques options à la carte en complément du buffet, comme cela est proposé dans d’autres hôtels de catégorie similaire. Malgré ce détail, notre expérience a été très positive. Le confort des chambres, la qualité des installations et l’emplacement privilégié en bord de mer font de cet hôtel une excellente adresse pour un séjour reposant et agréable entre adultes.

Concernant les points à améliorer, le principal concerne le ménage de la chambre. Dans l’ensemble, celui-ci m’a semblé un peu en dessous du niveau attendu pour un établissement de cette catégorie. Le tapis de sortie de douche n’a été fourni que le premier jour. Une fois retiré lors du ménage, il n’a jamais été remplacé durant le reste du séjour, ce qui m’a obligée à utiliser une serviette en guise de tapis. J’ai également remarqué que certaines zones n’étaient pas nettoyées avec suffisamment d’attention : du sable est resté plusieurs jours sur le balcon et des traces ainsi que des taches sur la table de la kitchenette sont restées présentes pendant toute la durée de mon séjour, malgré les passages quotidiens du personnel. Enfin, le savon pour les mains dans la salle de bain n’a jamais été réapprovisionné une fois le distributeur vide, ce qui est un détail mais qui participe au confort attendu dans ce type d’établissement. Ce ne sont pas des problèmes majeurs, mais ce sont des points qui mériteraient d’être améliorés afin que l’expérience soit pleinement à la hauteur de la qualité générale de l’hôtel.

This is the second time we stayed at the Asterion, and enjoyed our stay once more. Beautiful and quiet property, spacious and comfortable room, nicely designed and cleaned very well. Good breakfast, amazing staff always here to help with a smile. The only thing i would suggest is for à la carte guest to have a better wine selection & the a la carte restaurant was back in 2022 much better. Overall i would recommend and come back again

We came to Crete, Greece for a wedding of close friends. We chose this hotel to be away from the wedding chaos and hustle and stay somewhere quiet and a bit out of the way. This location exceeded our expectations and then some! The food, the staff, the chill atmosphere was exactly what we needed. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and attentive, we will coming back for sure!

L’insonorité des chambres est ok mais pas optimal, nous entendions les voisins. Notre salle de bain avait une odeur dégoût mais je pense que nous n’avons juste pas eu de chance sur ce point car tout le reste était ok.

W łazience fruwały czarne muszki które nawet po zabiciu, pojawiały się kolejne, są to muszki które pojawiają się tam, gdzie nie są czyszczone odpływy… woda w basenie była tak zimna że ciężko było wchodzić do basenu… totalnie nie opłaca się opcja all inclusive ponieważ codziennie jedzenie jest takie samo, monotonne i jest go mało…

We got an upgrade when we arrived to a galaxy suite. We had our own mini pool and private terrace on the roof. Our room was beautiful, bright and clean. We were welcomed with a smoothie/juice at reception and in our room was a chilled bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit platter. They also allowed us to check in earlier than 3pm which was a bonus. The hotel itself is new and fresh and the outdoor pool and loungers are lovely. There are loungers on the beach also. It's in a rural seaside location around 30 mins drive from Chania Old town. You have a view of the sea from everywhere and it's a nice sandy beach too. We would recommend going all inclusive. The food selection was extensive from choice of fruits, salads, cold meat and cheeses to the hot food and desserts. They also have a la carte menus for lunch and dinner if you prefer. Staff were all very friendly and helpful all the time. Nothing was too much trouble.

Das Hotel ist für entspannende Badeferien sehr zu empfehlen. Egal, ob am Pool oder am Meer, es war nie überfüllt. Das Personal ist aussergewöhnlich. Man wird hin und wieder ohne Aufdringlichkeit gefragt, ob alles okay ist. Der Manager stellt sich bei Anreise persönlich vor. Ab und zu gibt es kleine Aufmerksamkeiten, sei es ein Früchteteller und eine Flasche Prosecco bei Ankunft oder mal ein frischer Smoothie zwischendurch. Komfortabel ist das Bestellen von Drinks per App direkt zur Strandliege. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind extrem sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen ist gut und abwechslungsreich.

Das Einzige, was Luft nach oben hat, ist das Essen. Allerdings ist dies Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Spokojny, kameralny hotel idealny do prawdziwego wypoczynku przy basenie i plaży, z delikatną muzyką w tle i pysznymi posiłkami regionalnymi i nie tylko. Opcja all inclusive bardzo się opłaca- pyszne jedzenie, duży wybór, oryginalne alkohole, opcja zamawiania z baru poprzez aplikację dodatkowo rozleniwia ;) obsługa naprawdę miła i pomocna. Dodatkowe upominki w pokoju czy na też na pożeganienie powoduje ze chce sie tu wracać.

The put a lot of love and effort to maintain the property and it had all what we need. Pool, good sunbeds and even beds on the water. The staff is extremely nice.

Das Hotel, obwohl es am Strand liegt, hat keine gute Ausrichtung, Eng bebaut - 2 Restaurants, Bar und Pool liegen dicht beieinander, kein View zum Meer, Aus dem Grund haben wir die Restaurants, Bar bzw. Pool nicht genutzt. Das Hotelgebäude wirkte etwas alt, und nicht so luxuriös, wie auf den Bildern und in der Beschreibung bei booking.com. Ich habe ein Superior Zimmer mit Garten-Blick mit Frühstück gebucht. Wir wurden in einem Zimmer (202) mit Blick zur Wand und Kunstrasen, ohne Liege, Stuhl, Sonnenschirm zuerst einquartiert. Das war wirklich nicht schön. Das habe ich nicht akzeptiert. Ohne Diskussion haben wir ein Tag später ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, auch bessere Kategorie, Zimmer Planet. Durch den Umzug haben wir ein Tag Urlaub verloren, da wir das neue Zimmer erst am Nachmittag beziehen konnten. Aber ab da war der Urlaub perfekt.

We stayed at this stunning adults hotel in Crete, and choosing the all-inclusive package was the best decision we made – just remember to leave tips for the waiters and bar staff, they truly deserve it! The hotel is beautifully designed, with a dreamlike atmosphere. Around the pool, you’ll find both double sunbeds and regular ones, with plenty of spots in the sun as well as shaded areas – perfect for everyone’s needs. There’s also a main swimming pool, a shallow wading pool for pure relaxation, and a private beach where drinks are delivered straight to your lounger with just a quick tap on the app. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the entire staff was beyond amazing – from the friendly team who did everything to make our stay comfortable, to the manager who personally checked in on us. The cocktails from the bar were outstanding, and the food selection and quality at the dinner restaurant were truly impressive. We were on our honeymoon, and the level of pampering we received was simply beyond words. Highly recommended – and we will definitely return!

The pools were great (both the swim up one for my room and the shared pool). The all-inclusive package was worthwhile and food and drinks were very nice. The hotel is great if you plan to stay at the resort - but there isn’t much to do nearby. I had a very expensive massage and it was terrible - zero pressure and didn’t go for the full time. They then force you to complete a feedback survey whilst two of them stand next to you, it was very awkward. Some of the staff were lovely, but many were quite unfriendly or borderline rude.

Die Nähe zum Strand ist sehr gut und der Poolbereich ist modern eingerichtet. Die Zimmer waren gross und räumig genug und auch der Balkon ist sehr gross und bietet Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Das Hotel ist gut ausgestattet, jedoch empfinde ich das Hotel nicht 5 Sterne entsprechend. Es ist etwas mehr als der Standard aber nicht Luxus oder super modern. Die Zimmer könnten neuen modernen Aufschwung gebrauchen. Die weisse Couch in meinen Zimmer hatte gelbe Flecken. In der Kaffemaschine wurde vergessen die alten Kapseln vom Vorbenutzer zu entsorgen. Der Pool war nicht besonders gross und die Toilette im Poolbereich, die in den Untergrund führt stösst einen muffigen Geruch aus. Die Toilette dort scheint sanierunsbedürftig zu sein. Das Essen im Restaurant hat nicht meinen Erwartungen entsprochen. Während bei Ankunft mitgeteilt wurde, dass es im a la Carte wechselnde Mottos (mexikansich, italienisch) geben würde, war im Realen dies nicht der Fall. Die Menükarte war immer gleich. Das Frühstücksangebot war in Ordnung und war stets lecker und frisch. Der Standabschnitt war mit wenig Strandliegen befüllt, obwohl viel mehr Platz für zusätzliche Strandliegen zur Verfügung steht. Der Strandzugang ist jedoch nicht gepflegt, sodass man sich durch Steine und Algen kämpfen musste um ins Wasser zu gelangen. All dies führt dazu, weshalb das Hotel nicht den 5 Sternen und auch nicht diesem Preis gerecht ist, im Allgemeinen jedoch ein gutes Hotel ist.

As the weather was below average for the time of year, the pools were too cold and the sea too choppy to reasonably enjoy, we found ourselves bored on occasions. Perhaps some board games in the spacious reception area would be a good idea. We visited Chania a couple of times on the bus, but the location is a little bit out of the way. It is a great location if you wish to do very little. Had the weather been warmer and the sea not as rough, our perspective might have changed.

The property is situated in a peaceful, remote area, which provided the perfect escape for my family and me. The overall experience was great—the room was spotless and well-maintained, and the facilities were excellent.

While the massages were undoubtedly very good, and neither my family members nor I had any complaints about the quality of the service, they were still far too expensive for what was offered. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the experience justified the high prices at the facility. Additionally, as pointed out in other reviews, the staff lacked authenticity. Each morning, it took around 10 minutes and several reminders to receive my coffee, which was frustrating and not up to the standard one would expect. This is definitely an area where the hotel could improve. On a positive note, I appreciate the reception team for taking my feedback seriously and offering their apologies, which was a thoughtful gesture. However, despite this, I still feel that the overall cost for a week’s stay was excessive and didn’t deliver value for the money spent.
