Easy check in and great location close to Brixham town centre

Breakfast and evening meal where excellent, long time since I've had better fish.

clean and spacious room, quick drive to the splashpark nearby

not too keen on the full english breakfast, mainly the juices had a funny taste.

The property was on the main bus route close to the stops.A very friendly place to stay. Very friendly staff especially the breakfast young man with hair.

Coming back on foot after dark, the car park lights were out, hard to see where you were stepping.

Country stye hotel food was great breakfast and steak meals good value especially with the bottle of wine easy bus routes to Paington and Brixham shame about the steam railway station closed all in all very good would return again to stay

Confortable bed. Tea and coffee in the room. Decent evening meal.

Room very tired and a lot of dust. No toilet roll when we arrived. Breakfast disappointing.

The property was a great location to catch the bus to different places . A lovely walk to Brixham . The garden is lovely and great to watch the steam train go past . Breakfast was good . Staff were informative on the area.

The bins in the room had not been emptied prior to my arrival. 8.30 breakfast was too late on my last day as I was meeting a group at 9.00. I was offered a bacon bap but it would have been stored in a cupboard overnight. I declined in these warm temperatures.

The full English for me was very good but too much but the choices were great.

The hinges on the toilet door need a little oil plus when shut it rattles.

Upstairs and the bathroom could have been cleaner. There was a terrible smell outside

the breakfast and there one staff member who do it all with a smile and went out is way to keep guests happy

over priced for one night and extra for booking in early

The staff were very welcoming and very friendly.

The shower was mouldy and the doors and floors going up to the room were very dirty.

Sofa bed would have been better as a single bed as our son found it very uncomfortable. New pillows for the bed very flat and no support at all even when laying on two Bin the I pod dock no one has them anymore. Update to a newer TV Ditch the bars of soap and add liquid soap dispenser much more hygienic and less waste. Needs an update and repaint.

Staff including new Manager were very good, Comfortable room and good food.

I thought for 4 fingers of Holoumi @£8 was not value for money.

Es war ein Inn mit viel Geschichte und liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig. Das Personal war ausgezeichnet und der Aufenthalt war sehr schön.

Das Gebäude ist etwas alt, es funktioniert zwar alles, aber man sollte sich auf ein etwas rustikaleres Erlebniss gefasst machen, wobei das in England ja eigentlich schon fast normal ist.

Big room and a comfortable bed. Close to the railway so steam trains were passing the garden. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The garden area was a bit untidy and could do with some tlc.

Breakfast very disappointing. My breakfast scrambled eggs with salmon on granary bread very tasty.full English had by my adult sons sausages and bacon badly cooked and bad taste so they couldn't eat it . my granddaughter had a bacon sandwich couldn't eat it .People next table to us also felt the same and left alot of theirs. Breakfast is a really easy meal to cook for a small amount of people so sad they couldn't get it right. Percolated coffee good and freshly made . So what we paid for room what alot as breakfast so poor !!

Good location for where we were going, (National Trust Coleton Fishacre and Greenway). There is also a steam railway museum right next door Bedroom was ok, bed and duvet fine and had a good nights sleep, bathroom floor needs changing but shower fine.

Carpets and furniture need a good clean and generally freshened up.

Fan in room did not work missing remote control they did give a desk fan

Breakfast was good. The room could do with a little updating. In particular the bathroom. Hardware needs removing or replacing as rusty. Grout around bathroom and shower screen and floor could do with an extra dedicated clean.

The bar lady Justine was amazing, so funny and really made our stay incredibly smooth. She was superb and really went out her way to make everyone happy. Railway inn should be proud of having a staff member like her

I loved The Railway Inn. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. It's location is perfect for local attractions. The food was lovely and I recommend the Korean chicken. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay incredible.

The staff were Brilliant. We were made to feel Very welcome from start to finish . The food was outstanding . Breakfast and evening dinner, we could not fault it .

Difficult entry into the pub from one direction. Would have been better if I knew in advance that you can only enter from one direction.

Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in with no option to change rooms. The manager was very helpful and found a quilt to use as a mattress topper which stopped me leaving early

Breakfast service didnt know what to do, lack of towels and pillows. Bathrooms are dated. Toilet seat was loose. Some of the plug sockets didn't work.

Breakfast, dinner, room and very clean bathroom.

The tv was quite a way from the bed and was very small.

Staff were lovely and made us feel exceptionally welcome. Food and acommodation were perfect.

We are a bit disabled and the stairs were a challenge but the staff tried to help by barrying our bags.

VG & convenient location as friends lived less than a mile away.

Emily and her colleagues were welcoming and looked after us very well. Food was great .....dinner and breakfast. The odd steam whistle was good to hear. F

Staff were friendly and helpful, thanks to Emily the GM who was always happy to help. Bar and restaurant areas were well kept. Breakfast and evening meal was very good.

Unfortunately the hotel area is in need of TLC, bathrooms especially need a revamp.

The gluten free breakfast my partner had. He said it was better than the food we had at the wedding reception we attended in a large hotel down the road.

The duvet could have been bigger. But other than that, it was all good

Location was good, easy bus route into Brixham

I got charged £10 for early check in and wasn’t given key until I paid it. I messaged beforehand as had a long drive and got told no problem to check in early. At no point was I told I’d be charged. Breakfast service very slow and didn’t eat sausages.

Well cooked breakfast and friendly staff

Lovely place, fabulous staff, comfi bed and a bath which was wonderful after a week of hiking. Evening meal was excellent as well as breakfast. Fun to watch the steam train go past our window. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you to all the staff!

Room a bit tired

Tom was a good fella, He was helpful,funny, and friendly. Ben would have gone above and beyond for you at breakfast. The breakfast was very good, plenty of it and well cooked. The room was cleaned every day. Loved our stay. Thanks to all the staff.

Just a little away from anything thing, but bus stops were close and they ran frequently.

Perfect location for a nice walk into Brixham.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, I had smoked salmon & scrambled eggs and there was lots of fresh salmon. Chef made breakfast to order and made sure we were happy with everything. The location is good with plenty of parking.

Room was very dated, shower wasn’t very good with poor pressure, shower connector didn’t work very well (so more water came out of bath tap) and shower head had lots of limescale. Rusty objects in bathroom need replacing

Just 100% can’t complain about anything will be going back

Clean quiet friendly staff

Everything was lovely. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Steam trains a plenty right next door. Breakfast was great! Wonderful place to stay.
