The location is divine. Also loved there were no children. Very peaceful. Also liked the guitar music at dinner. I will come back as I think the value for money along with the view is worth a return!

They could have had a discreet fridge with bottles of water by the pool. Also the bringing out mats from for the sun loungers seemed to be a big deal for them. However, the rest of the staff were lovely. The food I would describe as good but not gourmet. You need to go into Deia proper for gourmet (and recommend).

The highlight for us was the ability to dive off the rocks into crystal clear water. Getting out again needed some upper body strength and maybe a challenge to some. The walks along the coast were pretty. A bus stopped just at the top of the road so you can go to local towns easily in that.

It is an adults only hotel and this translated into a quiet couples hotel. There was not much activity or banter between the ever resting guests. If you want to drink and eat and do little in a beautiful place then this is it. If you want some vibe or dynamic atmosphere you should look elsewhere. The reception staff were slow to check us in and out and there was no water bottle filling stations. Reluctantly our water bottles would be refilled. A small volume was provided in the room. Refilling water bottles is clearly better for the environment than not and thus should be considered by the hotel. Other places in Mallorca did this with water fountains etc.

the sunset and view are litterally out of this world. Incredible location and setting! A+++++++++++++ Staff superb, even allowed us to stay the following day yo use the facilities - pool sunbeds etc and then on top of that gave us access to a private shower room to get clean and changed for our journey. Absolutely amazing!!

I loved this hotel so much! First off it’s very easy to access by the main road from Palma to Soller, right after Deia. You can even take a bus from Palma that stops right outside the hotel. And the bus can also take you to Deia, it’s 15min by bus. As I hadn’t rented a car I found this very convenient. Overall it’s very well located. The property is beautiful, the view, the pool, the surrounding nature - and it is so peaceful, mainly couples as no children allowed. I also loved the fact that you can hike to Cala Deia from the hotel. The path is moderate / advanced so bring good sneakers and it’s a 45min trek but so rewarding to arrive there by foot while everyone is trying to find parking. There is also a sea access right downstairs from the hotel. The front desk also can help organize activities like tennis, hikes etc if you plan in advance. The hotel restaurant is also very nice with a beautiful view and was lucky to hear live music on a Tuesday! The staff is super nice and helped me find a taxi for an early departure. Would highly recommend overall.

The rooms are a little less isolated than other hotels but it’s overall pretty quiet so I wasn’t too bothered by it. The breakfast buffet is extensive but the quality of the food/coffee was a bit lower than the restaurant at night I found

The location is great - you’re super close to Deia but also having sea access in that area is hard to come by (although the sea access is not easy). The beds were comfy and the hotel communal areas are very nicely done. The shower room is a nice touch for those heading to the airport after check out. Sunbeds are in good condition and the large parasols were handy. The lunch menu was extensive and the food we had at lunch was of high quality (we ate out for dinners). The receptionists were helpful for booking taxis. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is kept in the style of the Tramuntana villages which felt authentic. Views are spectacular!

We found the food at breakfast to be on the more basic end. The hot food was cold and it just didn’t feel overly special for a hotel like this. We have stayed at the Hoposa Pollentia and the breakfast there was far FAR superior to this. The rooms are incredibly basic - like a Premier Inn. Hairdryer attached to the wall, bathroom was like a wet room and just very basic. Felt that it was in desperate need of a refurb. Main bedroom was so tired and just lacked any character whatsoever. No one clears glasses or used towels by the pool so by 1pm it looked so tatty and shabby - such a shame. The staff are on the grumpy side but that didn’t impact our stay, just noticeable compared to other hotels in Mallorca. We also felt the hotel was understaffed. The servers at lunch also had to make the drinks (only 2 members of staff….). The rooms are noisy - we could hear the servers downstairs from about 7am and we were on the top floor. For c.600€ a night in August, this is an overpriced hotel. You are paying to be so close to Deia - be aware you are not paying for a nice room (unless you upgrade perhaps) and are not getting a 5* treatment whatsoever! The hotel could be SO much better if it wanted to be!

Incredible setting, the pool and sea access are perfect, loved being able to stay after checking out and use the facilities, including a shower room. Reception staff were great.

Restaurant staff and buffet chefs don’t give the best vibes. They don’t seem to be enjoying their jobs, they look a bit bothered. They are not terrible, but they are not at the standard you expect for such a beautiful place. Also, no one EVER comes to the pool, you have to open your own umbrellas, you have to go to order your own drinks, and the empty glasses stay there ALL day. Also, a small addition, not essential, but noticeable that not there, is small basic toiletries in the bathroom (shower cap, cotton buds…)

Un lieu exceptionnellement calme, sans aucun bruit à la piscine, nourriture de très bonne qualité, très belle vue sur la mer.

L'accès à la mer par une échelle est un peu difficile mais cela a son charme! Il y a un parking gratuit, c'est super mais l'accès au parking de l'hôtel est un peu difficile !

Die Lage dieser Unterkunft ist einfach nur unfassbar schön! Tolles Angebot im Restaurant, es schmeckte wirklich alles fantastisch und war sehr schön angerichtet. Es wird sich viele Mühe gegeben, dem Gast gerecht zu werden.

I think the Air Conditioning in the rooms could do with upgrading!!! We got a fan which was a great help!! I think also the pool area was just ok Pool was good for the size but a new investment of comfortable sun beds and small tables would certainly be a plus !!!

The atmosphere was stifled and just not welcoming and the restaurant food was very average and it overly sauced. Not enough pool lounges for the guests and not a lot to do. Air con fan was very loud and had only two speeds

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel and will definitely be back. The photos really don't do the beauty justice. Best sunsets I have ever seen. After much research I chose this hotel mainly for its location and good reviews. Access to the ocean was the main drawing point for us but also an amazing pool and adults only was perfect. We found it quiet but in the best way in that we were able to relax and decompress without needed to constantly make conversation with other guest or the staff. Being close enough to villages like Soller, Deja and Valdemossa was great because we could drive there for dinner and then come home.

Our room was nice but we had two single beds pushed together which I thought was a little odd for a hotel that prides itself on being a destination for couples. Our aircon was also a little loud during the night but I think that's just due to its age. The room otherwise was spacious and kept perfectly clean by the amazing hotel cleaners. Beds and pillow overall were very comfortable.

Frühstück hervorragend. Das Horel ist sehr sauber das Personal freundlich. Das Restaurant ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Der Spalt zwischen den Matratzen, und zu wenig Sonnenliegen am Pool. Da die Gäste dort liegen reservieren, was sie eigentlich nicht machen sollten.

Lovely peaceful hotel in a spectacular part of the island. Very peaceful and close to Deia , beautiful location friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Rarely heard any traffic just the birds. Hotel pool didn’t play music which I loved as Made it super peaceful would definitely come back , loved the tranquility,

The walk to Cala Deia was more of a scramble in places and not for some One not use to hiking or scrambling over rocks etc. I thought it should have had a bit more of a warning . Also the path is not always clear and I got lost a few times which in the heat was a quite stressful . Beautiful views though and a fabulous cove and fish restaurant at the end , just somewhat longer than the 30 mins advised and rather hazardous and nerve wracking in places. Some of it was part of getting lost but some was the actual route.

Das Hotel befindet sich an absoluter Traumlage über den Klippen, in einer wunderschönen Anlage, mit Pool und Restaurant-Terrasse mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Das Zimmer war grosszügig und toll eingerichtet. Zudem gefiel die Kunst an den Wänden sehr!

Notre chambre était bruyante (nous étions réveillés dès l’arrivée des premiers employés par leurs discussions à voix haute) Une mise en garde : si vous souhaitez aller à pied à la cala Deia, il faut être équipé de chaussures de randonnée ou de baskets à crampons, certains endroits sont très dangereux.

Dieser Platz ist und bleibt ein Paradies. Die Lage ist außergewöhich. Schön und gleichzeitig abgeschieden, da etwas unterhalb der Hauptstraße gelegen und nur für Hotelgäste zugänglich. Die Anlage ist dabei so gestaltet, daß die einzigartige Lage und der Blick in jedem Teil (Pool, Terrasse, Restaurant, Bar, Zimmer) zur Geltung kommt. Stil, Einrichtung und Service sind durchweg herausragend, außerdem sind alle Teile der Anlage und Gebäude in bestem Zustand und verbinden das Gefühl eines kleinen, originären Anwesens mit der Professionalität eines großen Hotels - und das, ohne abgehoben oder elitär zu wirken. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Personal jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück war hervorragend. Bemerkenswert ist, daß trotz der bergigen Lage ein ausreichend großer Parkplatz vorhanden ist.

amazing view and location

we had a room right next to the elevator which is very loud early morning and late evening. We were moved to another room but had to pay upgrade fee to get away from elevator room and only after much negotation a 50 Euro discount was offered for the first night. Make sure not to stay in room next to elevator.

Absolutamente todo. Hemos estado de lujo, el personal es muy amable, las habitaciones estan bien equipadas, camas comodísimas, incluso pedimos un cambio de almohada porque la que había inicialmente era alta y dura para mi, y me ofrecieron otro tipo mucho mejor. Baño muy amplio y ducha con buena presión. El entorno es idílico, muy tranquilo ideal para relajarse y desconectar.

Hubiera agradecido más producto local en el buffet de desayuno.

The location is splendid with a great view on the sea and relaxing terraces for sun bathing and eating (breakfast, lunch and diner). The staff was on point between friendliness, respect and efficiency.

Small boutique hotel with beautiful views of the sea. Nice restaurant also with amazing sunset views in the sea. Rooms were not huge, but sufficient. The location is a bit secluded, which is what we were looking for, but having a car is recommended. There are some nice coastal hikes from the property.

Some of the staff were excellent but others could use some additional training.

Facilities in bathrooms could have been better toiletries etc . Would have been nice to have free water daily and also a modern hairdryer. The menu for the restaurant didn’t change, the food was good but didn’t appear to be able to change or provide alternatives and hence understood was just finished off on site.

The hotel is located in a remote area, which is definitely nice when you don't want to be in the center of society. The hotel location offers beautiful views of the surroundings, there are various attractions within easy reach, and the hotel restaurant serves excellent cuisine. The beach is not next to the hotel, but there are a few beaches nearby. However, the hotel has a great pool. Breakfast was extensive and suitable for all tastes. The only thing missing was the option to get coffee with milk substitute.

Coming up to half way on my hike of thw GR221 trail, and after a long and brutal descent into Deia, I needed somewhere to rest my feet and recharge. The Costa D'Or was fantastic, from the warm welcome (despite my dishevelled state), to my quiet lovely room with a sea view and comfortable bed. Both dinner and breakfast helped me refuel - the breakfast choice is extensive. Overall, I could not have asked for more.

Le paradis sur terre ! Tout était parfait : la vue, les différentes terrasses, la piscine, la chambre (je n'avais pas une chambre avec vue, mais elle était très confortable), le parking gratuit, le resto, le petit déjeuner succulent (un pain au noix et aux fruits secs à tomber par terre) et surtout le personnel était au petit soin ! On peut faire une magnifique balade au bord de la mer en partant de l'hôtel jusqu'à Cala Deià et même remonter à pied jusqu'à Deià, juste magique. Bon à savoir, il y a un arrêt de bus juste en haut de l'hôtel pour revenir depuis Deià (bus 203). J'y retournerais avec un immense plaisir !
