Hall Park Hotel self check in

Location good and breakfast good.

Bed uncomfortable pillows shocking lumpy. Little dated self check in was not grest had to call as booked late 9 pm

Family run, friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast and evening meal

Good staff, good breakfast

Could have had better parking facilities

Very central, easy to get about. Room was comfortable and very clean. Food was exceptionally good.

Liked it all

Accueil très chaleureux, , chambre pleine de charme. Dîner agréable style pension de famille Le patron et le personnel très sympathique.

La literie est moyenne

We were only there for a night, but had an incredible experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's a short drive away from the Lakes, which makes it the perfect location. The rooms are spacious and well-kept.

We had booked three rooms. One of the 3 had little ventilation so it got quite hot there in the night. The other two were pretty great and we had no trouble with them.

Room was spotless,friendly staff

Was perfect

Very good b&b! Highly recommended.

Excellent location. Food food. Great staff.

Breakfast was excellent. Cooked to perfection

Extremely friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms, convenient location.

Popular bar downstairs will frustrate the plans of anyone who needs to get an early night. Wind blowing empty cans in the yard outside also created quite a racket.

Very quick at sorting out any issues. We had booked a twin but when arrived was put in a double soon sorted and moved to correct room Attentive staff nothing was any trouble

Stayed for a week for work. Nice and clean room with comfy beds, tasty and fair priced food. Felt very welcome by Paul and staff. Family run hotel where every guest treated as a family member from first day. I would definately stay again.

Everything is good for us 2nd time to stay at the hall park hotel Workington

Nothing to dislike

Clean room friendly patron

Nothing

A lovely spacious room with dual aspect windows. A very pleasant layout. Everybody was polite and helpful. The included breakfast was beautiful with a lot more choices than we required. The location was, the very best for us. Being right next to a lovely walk. Parking was a bit tight but the hotel had plenty of options to accommodate, so not a problem. All in all a perfect stay and hopefully we will be able to use this hotel again.

Nothing to dislike at all

Le confort des chambres le petit déjeuner très bon et le patron qui était très sympa 😊.

Friendly staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds.

No food on a Saturday evening.

Friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast.

Like everything 👍🏼

Everything like 👍🏼

Nice hotel, easy check in, good location. Good little bar , put the boxing on for me too. Breakfast was spot on also ( eggs Benedict)

Lovely place to stay friendly staff Paul’s lovely there to help out food really good too can’t fault it always stay there x

Nothing not to like

Erg vriendelijk personeel.

Central location

Warm clean and very friendly

Everything! Great staff - always friendly and helpful. Lovely food. Excellent location.

Excellent breakfast, friendly local staff. Clean comfortable rooms, good position.

Fantastic help by the staff. I was unable to have the breakfast therefore I requested a pack lunch which was provided.

Great location fantastic staff the owner goes above and beyond to accommodate all your needs would recommend to everyone the breakfast is amazing and massive choice

Friendly helpful staff. Lovely food. Excellent location.

Plenty of space in the room, large selection of tasty meals on the menu. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional.

Friendly staff. Breakfast good start to the day.

Loved my room which was as a good size also immaculately clean . The best thing however was as the food . I had the best t bone steak ever . All food was so reasonably priced . I will definitely come back just so I can gave the steak again . Staff was super lovely as well . Breakfast lady was really friendly and our breakfast was perfect.

Great value stopover. Lovely breakfast menu. Staff really friendly and helpful

Good location. Very friendly helpful staff.

Staff where amazing and very welcoming Breakfast was delicious too. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if am in the area!

Basic but warm and comfortable. Food and bar available in the evening. Great breakfast.

For the 4th year running we stayed at the hotel. Again, great hosts, great breakfasts, really good taste and not greasy. Great hospitality and goodbdrinksband prices in the bar in the hotel. We have just booked a other 4 rooms for August Bank Holiday next year. I would reccomend booking the hotel early ad this sells out quickly.

Easy check in and out very clean comfortable and great breakfast staff were lovely too

Great family run hotel. Meet the owner when I stepped out my car doing some gardening and he offered to help with my bags. Great bar and food

Nothing all 100%

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff

Ambiance familiale. Nous y reviendrons

Very friendly staff. Nice & clean. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. We even had ours as a takeaway as we were running the Workington half marathon.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel during my recent trip. It’s located in Workington, just a short drive from the Lake District, making it a great base for exploring the area. The location was convenient yet peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to hiking trails and charming villages. The room was spotless, cozy, and offered lovely views. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready with great recommendations and a friendly smile. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and high-quality options. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything the Lake District has to offer. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Lovely family run hotel with friendly hosts. Rooms were nice and clean. Very handy location just 20mins away from touristy spots

Have stayed here on several occasions and always found it a great place to stay in Workington. Very friendly staff - made to feel very much “at home”. Lovely clean, well decorated, well co-ordinated comfortable rooms. Super food. Friendly bar where locals mingle well with guests. Lovely garden to sit in when weather is good. Great location for town centre.

Only one tiny niggle / suggestion. Perhaps better quality paper table napkins could be used.

Very nice family run hotel. Wide range of food on the menu, all excellent and well priced (large portions). Wide variety of drinks available from the bar. Very welcoming and the locals that visited the bar were all good for a chat. Will be staying again.

Great hotel very well looked after my room 6 had definitely been renovated lately, lovely friendly staff awesome breakfast selection & service (girl who served breakfast very friendly and welcoming)

Reasonable price and with parking.

Breakfast wasn’t the best.

A beautiful family run hotel. Great large meals and a nice bar. Friendly staff and nice getting to know some of the locals. This place had a gorgeous garden and this was done by the owner Paul. We loved our 2 night stay and the breakfast was awesome. Paul.was a great host abdceven took for a drive to show us the local attractions.

Very nice staff. Extremely helpful.

Nothing.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Hall Park Hotel and again I was not disappointed. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

It was in a good location. Loved the bookcase on the landing with lots of books to read, many of the local area.

Little parking available

Breakfast was good as was the breakfast lady. Easy to find.

Room was very grey. A bit depressing. Bathroom door needed persuasion. Metal desk and seat were rather utilitarian. Blind was missing one stripe. Rather weedy electric shower. Parking was on street, limited during the day. Evening food wasn't very hot.

Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodated my dietary needs

Would like a full length mirror in room

Spacious rooms with outside parking and pet friendly

The room was spotless l, the staff were amazing, the breakfast was amazing. Felt very welcome. Gardens were amazing

There is nothing I didn’t like however there were few cosmetic things that could be improved. The bathroom door didn’t close or lock, the clock in room had stopped, the toilet roll was just on the floor no holder. The bar was advertised on booking as open but we were told is wasn’t opening the night of our stay. However the owners brother and friends were situated in the bar and were very loud until after 11pm.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room basic but spotless. Breakfast fantastic

Nothing really. Couldn't fault it for the price

Rubbish TV

Clean

very helpful staff. excellent breakfast

Our host, Paul, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. All staff and the locals were friendly and informative about the area. Highly recommend.

Room was enormous! Wish we had stayed longer. Park just across the road which was nice for the dogs (not enclosed). Friendly staff, great breakfast. We were allowed to take dogs in to the bar for breakfast which was lovely.

Parking wasnt great, had a problem finding a space and had to move the car later.

Traveled over for a spot of fishing and a few beers, hotel staff were very welcoming, nice clean room with comfy beds. Free breakfast was tasty with a good menu. Couple of minutes walk to a lot of pubs too so that was a bonus. Keep up the good work!

Nothing, all good.

Staff were exceptional. Great breakfast and great friendly bar. Lots of locals with local knowledge and recommendations Paul and staff were very helpful. Excellent location, close to all town facilities.

All good

Lovely room, big windows and lots of light! Very comfortable and lots of space. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and varied, which was fab. I was able to park at the property to avoid disc charges, which was a relief as it’s a confusing system! My stay was easy, comfortable and relaxing. Thank you!

My only niggles were that the bath looked like it needed a bit of tlc (just a touch up on sealant, nothing major) and I couldn’t work out how to adjust the main blinds in the bedroom; I could open and close them, but could not rotate them to maintain some privacy while still letting light in!
