It is quite noisy as on the main road through town so can hear a lot in the room.

The toiletries are good. The beddings and towels are clean and comfortable . Pillows have good back support and protectors are used to keep pillows fresh. The electric blankets are warm. The unit is very clean. The 3 compartments bin is very handy. One for compost, one for recycling and one for trash. Parking is just right at door step. The refreshments is good, with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. A fresh sponge is given for dishwashing, I used to assume fresh sponge is a given but it is not the case.

The motel is on the main road into or out of Timaru. Perfect location to get to anywhere in the city or surrounds. Even close to main road it was quiet.

Very warm welcome it was freezing weather and heat pump was on in the unit when we arrived ! So very much appreciated. Wow best armchairs not many places give a decent chair to sit in@@

Location suited us so we liked it. Being on the highway was not an issue... convenient and no road noise. Room was spacious and very well equipped, met my needs as a wheelchair user.

The fold down seat in the accessible shower is minimum size... ok for me just, can imagine others needing an alternative. Otherwise the bathroom was supburb.

Great location. Good spacious parking. The apartment was clean and comfy. Very quiet with no road noise when inside. Beds and pillows were good. Shower pressure was good. We liked that the towels were changed daily. Thanks for that.

We stayed for 10 nights so these things mattered to us It was a shame that the TVs in the bedrooms only got a few sky channels. Not the channel my daughter needed. (Channel 2) Also we would have appreciated clean linen after a week as 10 nights is a bit too long. Perhaps we should have asked for the sheets to be changed.

It was exceptionally clean. Even the dishes and utensils were sparkling clean. All cooking utensils were in excellent condition. Stove top was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Large rooms and unit. Very clean. Our unit (16) has direct access to a lawn area. Fantastic staff. We extended our stay, and it was a very easy process.

Reservation staff had a very poor attitude. We communicated several times over the phone prior to arrival, but the experience was consistently unpleasant and unhelpful.

Location on Highway 1 with v.poor sound deadening, especially through ill fitting door lead to bad night thru lack of sleep. Apparently Chinese tours take up all the "quieter" rooms so would not recommend staying here.

We travel a lot and have stayed in more motels than we can count, from “character buildings” to “should’ve slept in the car.” This one? Easily one of the best. Clean, comfy, quiet, and no mystery stains or late-night yelling. Would 100% stay again, and actually look forward to it.

As we travel we usually find something to grumble about. This place ruined that for us. Everything worked, everything was clean, and it was comfortable. Our only complaint? It made the rest of our trip look bad.

staff were lovely and let us wait inside a unit well after check-out time when our car wouldn't start and we had to wait for a mechanic

the hot water cylinder was loud at night for those sleeping in the lounge. more kitchen bench space and a bigger shower cubicle would have been good

It was located on the highway, but even with one of the closer rooms to the road, hardly heard anything. Rooms were good sized. Bathroom clean and with appropriate facilities. It looks slightly dated but has obviously had some TLC applied and it well worth considering. A little to the outer of the town, but only 5 minutes away from takeaway food, etc

Quiet away from the road Clean.

The property is on State Highway 1 but it was quiet. We have stayed here in the past and would have no hesitation in staying again.

The toilet paper was flimsy, the hot water took a while to arrive and there was a stain on the carpet. Nevertheless we would have no hesitation in staying again.

It was New Year’s Day check out and they let us stay an extra 45 minutes after waking up late.

There was a problem with payment using a debit card, as they added a surcharge after I paid on line, so the payment was held up. I ended up paying by EFTPOS on arrival.

Great experience.we have a family of 5 stayed here for 2nights, everyone felt satisfied. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, kitchen supplies are perfect. Definitely want to come back to this motel if come to Timaru again.

Did not have breakfast The room we were allocated was not good However the staff recognised the problem immediately and rectified the situation The problem was not created by them but they shifted us recognising the people who had the unit prior to us ignored the rules

The suite was like an entire house. Heaps of space super clean and well appointed.

We did not get one bit of sleep. Someone upstairs walked and thumped opened and closed sliding door mist if the night. I emailed the owners and they said “they’d talk to him” and offered a free night but we aren’t travelling back that way we got up at 5.30 packed and in the road at 6am

The property was very cleanly and it was a big living space to relax and for the kids to play. Close to the botanic gardens aswell, great value for money and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

I didn’t like that the lounge area felt too exposed. We were trying to relax, but it felt like other guests could easily see us.

I think the corner car parking space should be clearly marked for the Disability Unit we were in……(Unit 5). We were unable to park anywhere near the unit!
