The rooms are really cosy, and the bath is a lovely touch. Check-in and check-out are very easy, and it was wonderful to have the apartment cleaned daily.

This particular room had an odd smell when we entered, we think from the cleaning products? The shower door also needed to be positioned in a specific way to not cause pooling on the bathroom floor. This particular bed was too soft for our liking.

The apartment itself was excellent. It was very new, clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Unfortunately, our experience with the management was very disappointing. We only booked this accommodation because we had to change our travel plans due to severe weather. I called in advance to explain that we might arrive about an hour after the stated check-in time and asked whether they could simply leave the room unlocked or arrange an alternative key collection. This was refused, and I was told we would have to pay a late check-in fee. When I asked how much the fee would be, they repeatedly said it “depends on the time” and would not give me a clear answer. When we finally arrived, we discovered there were staff members staying on the property. Despite that, we were told the owner would charge us an additional NZD 100 late check-in fee or we would not be given the key. We had no choice but to pay.

Staff turned the lights and heating on in our room so we walked into a lovely warm room. A nice big room with heat pump and 3rd floor views. Bathroom had a spa bath in it. Comfortable extra large bed and the Sky TV was great. We also appreciated the free laundry facilities downstairs

Beautiful Self contained apartment!

Costal ridge is always our number one choice when staying in timaru, the rooms are perfect with very comfortable beds and the spa is always such a treat. The owner always greets you so well and makes you feel very welcome. Very clean and always smells nice

Room was different to the one we thought we booked.

The apartment was more than we expected, it was cosy, quiet and roomy, and close to the hospital, the reason for my visit. The hotel is on a busy road, but once inside the room it is quiet and provided us a decent nights sleep. The spa bath was an added bonus. If we come back to Timaru we will definitely stay here again. The manager was extremely accommodating and welcoming.

Well equipped kitchen

Windows didn’t close properly was windy very noisy, to basic for 220 per night especially for timaru

The scenery, the room was beautiful, the view was gorgeous everything was clean and i would definitely be going back

It was the worst stay we have had here . No parking available for my car last night . Loud taps. For $260 a night we won’t be back anytime soon . Loved this place previously but for that price not worth our time

There wasn’t any

Smallest executive suite I have ever stated in. Didn't even have a chair each. Glad I didn't have a cat as there was no room to swing one.

Off street parking, very comfortable large bed, comfortable lounge chairs, spa bath, kitchentte and all the sky channels on TV. Fluffy robes and slippers. Lovely plunger coffee.

On the top storey of three. No lift. Bit of a climb. Noisy road however the windows are double glazed so you can't hear it if you keep the door closed. No shampoo and conditioner. I thought there would be a view of the ocean from the room. Instead it faces the distant mountains.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable lodgings will definitely be back again.
