Hlangana Lodge

The breakfast was good and the free car wash was a great surprise.

We only stayed very briefly for a 1 night stop over. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. There is delicious breakfast included. Excellent value for money.

The rooms are very basically appointed. Would like to have coffee and tea available in the room.

Breakfast was great

Old school TV and no options.

Safe location, well maintained property with luxury rooms.Lovely gardens surrounding accommodation.

Very pretty. Lovely gardens. Quiet.

The staff was great, place was clean and very comfortable, everything was good

Everything about the place

There was nothing not to like...maybe just the TV package

Very neat and breakfast good

Limited choice of TV

Everything amazing please and I loved the most the tuxedo CAT.

Nothing

Prima verblijf met alle faciliteiten aanwezig.

Het ligt aan een drukke weg.

Good peaceful location

Taps were marked for hot and cold incorrectly

Great service from the get-go, and lovely room with a fabulous shower and patio overlooking the garden and pool: a place to hear birdsong in the morning. Though the on-site restaurant only offers breakfast, dinner can be ordered from nearby restaurants, within brisk walking distance, which the staff are happy to warm and help dish up.

Breakfast was good despite electricity was down

nothing

Everything

All is fantastic

Everything was beautiful and well planned. We'll definitely seek out this lodge next year when we attend the "Boeremusiek" Festival, God williing, next year.

Espresso a colazione pagato a parte.

Very beautiful. Very clean. Amazingly helpful staff.

Struggled to get warm shower water and slow wifi

Lovely & comfortable & clean room. Lovely breakfast which was well-prepared. Lovely garden area with ample secure parking.

A estrutura é boa, bem bonito e bem cuidado.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Loved the cats that come and visited us.

The kids Bedroom feels like a storage room.

Environment Food Atmosphere Service by staff

Rooms were cold though there was a heating but could have been better if there were electric blankets. There are no two pin points for charging phones.

Very polite staff and the vibe of the place was very peaceful.

There were ants in our room

The location and friendly and helpful staff.

The cats due to allergies and a fear of cats. The water from the shower ran across the whole bathroom floor.

Secure and clean

Nothing comes to mind

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Place is beautiful and rooms very clean.

Maybe to have a warm pool for the winter months.

Breakfast was excellent. Service was very good. Waitrons were attentive and efficient.

The big toaster wasn’t working properly.

Exceptionally well kept - modern rooms with great amenities. I loved the property on which the units are set, very beautiful and peaceful.

Nothing to dislike!

The staff were brilliant and attentive. They showed us around the hotel and gave us advice on places to eat around the area. The hotel is in a lovely and quiet spot and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Only that we couldn’t stay longer with the resident cats!

Breakfast was good and will return soon

Wonderful Lodge. Breakfasts were super, big selection and beautifully presented. The staff made my take aways so easy and so fresh! The whole place is charming and has an historic nostalgia which I loved!

Loved the location, ambience and service. I would have loved a full dining facility in preference to ordering out.

Overall a very nice stay, form booking to checkout. I stay there every year when attending a show in Oudtshoorn.

Unser Zimmer hatte an verschiedenen Stellen Renovierungsbedarf.

Prachtig gebouw en kamer. Wij hadden een upgrade gekregen. Dichtbij restaurants.

Location was safe and easy driving distance to restaurants. We enjoyed an upgraded room as it was winter and not at all busy. Lovely non alcoholic drink on arrival.

Bed & pillows uncomfortable.

Die Zimmer waren sehr komfortabel und sauber.

Internet Beautifull garden Clean

A microwave in the room would be a nice add on

We had an amazing stay in Oudtshoorn. The property was tranquil, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally neat, clean, and hygienic. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and delicious food. What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.

The only minor downside was that there was only one TV channel available, ETV, which limited entertainment options in the room. Other than that, everything was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in Oudtshoorn.

Maintained to a high standard, excellent gardens and very comfortable rooms and amenities.

N/A

Breakfast was very good. The room was below our expectations, we booked the high end more spacious room but it was not a very good layout. The bed was nice and comfortable. The USB and one of the power outlets were not operable, and internet was extremely weak in the room. I had to go to the admin and dining room to get a good strong wi-fi signal.

The USB and one of the power outlets were not operable, and internet was extremely weak in the room. I had to go to the admin and dining room to get a good strong wi-fi signal.

Nichts

Everything about the venue was perfect

The pillows were a bit hard

The facility is okay, however the standard room is at the back of the lodge. Somehow hidden away

The standard rooms, was not what I expected

Mooi ruim opgezette accommodatie, goed uitgebreid ontbijt, goede bedden.

Alles was prima!

Everything was perfect

Breakfast was the best

Friendly staff

Room was very big, needed more furniture

Quiet location. Pet-friendly. Good breakfast.

Room was clean in general but there was a large stain on the cushion of one of the chairs and there were stains on the wall. Also, 3 of my room's power points were not working.

It was clean and the yard beautiful

Nothing not to like.

The breakfast was good, staff was friendly and the cleanliness. The upkeep of the place is extremely good.

No actual TV coverage. TV are outdated no Netflix etc... only SABC channels.

Beautiful and clean space have our private loadge, friendly staff and accessible.

Everyting was exceptional

Lovely staff and good location for Cango Caves.

We stayed at Hlangana as a stop-over on our way home. Without a doubt one of the nicest stays we've had. From staff friendliness to the delicious breakfast and the beyond cute resident cats, everything was fantastic. We will be back on our next passing!
