Il est difficile de trouver une place dans le quartier. Il faut tourner parfois un moment. L’hôtel propose seulement deux places de parking.

Locatie is fantastisch. Alles wat je maar wil, is op loopafstand. Ontbijt was heerlijk. Heel uitgebreid, voor ieder wat wils. Appartement waar wij verbleven was wel wat verouderd, maar schoon. Iedere dag werd schoongemaakt en heerlijk als je na een lange dag terugkwam, en het bed was verschoond en schone handdoeken lagen gevouwen op bed. Personeel is echt heel vriendelijk en heel hartelijk. Alles word gedaan om je van alle comfort en gemak te voorzien.

Parkergeegenheid is vreselijk. Veel moeite om iedere keer een plekje te vinden. En het bekende handdoekje leggen in de ochtend bij het zwembad, tenenkrommend!!

Personeel was erg vriendelijk en de kamers waren zeer schoon. We hebben een leuk en prettig verblijf gehad in dit hotel. De locatie is ideaal: op ongeveer 20 minuten loopafstand van het centrum van Rethymnon.

Enige minpunt: gebouw naast was in aanbouw, het werd nieuw gebouwd waardoor dit veel lawaai veroorzaakte. Dit hadden ze beter in de winter kunnen doen.

Vi fick ett rum väldigt nära receptionen och natt personalen hade inte direkt respekt för det utan pratade högljutt tills min man gick ut och sa till. Sen gick ett larm som höll på en bra stund och då satt nattpersonalen ute och hörde inte larmet så min man fick säga till ytterligare en gång. Receptionen och den äldre mannen som skötte om det var fantastiska

Hôtel familial magnifique on a été tout de suite très bien accueillies par le personnel qui est très gentil et très professionnel. Nous y avons séjourner pour 9 jours et nous ne voulions plus partir. Je le recommande à 100 pour-cent. Tout était parfait, l'hôtel très beau très confortable très propre plusieurs piscines et emplacement exceptionnel à quelques minutes de la vieille ville et à 2 pas de la plage. Nous y retournerons for sure.

En mycket bekväm lägenhet med kök, fantastiskt hjälpsam personal, 5 minuters promenad till stadens centrum. Bäst av allt är att stranden ligger precis tvärs över gatan. Jag rekommenderar den starkt.

המלון במיקום מעולה, ממש פחות מדקה ואתם בחוף על הטיילת במרכז העיניינים. ולמרות זאת, במלון עצמו, שקט ושליו. הצוות מקסים, ממש אווירה משפחתית נעימה. החדרים היו נקיים ונוחים . הבריכה כיפית ונעימה, לא קפואה- שזה היה ממש נחמד. מושלם. הצטערנו שהיינו שם רק לילה אחד.

Extremely friendly staff who could not do enough for us. It was our anniversary and they kindly gave us a free breakfast, a bottle of Prosecco and fruit in the room. Location is perfect too, 15 min walk to the old town and 1 minute walk to the beach. This is a family run hotel who care about every detail.

Siistit huoneet, kiva pieni uima-allas. Oli kätevää kun sai ostaa ruokia suoraan altailla, runsaat annokset. Todella hyvä sijainti erittäin lähellä rantaa ja kätevän kävelymatkan päässä mm vanhasta kaupungista.

Työmaa aivan hotellin uima-allasalueen vieressä, oli todella ikävää kuunnella poran ja sirkkelin ääntä kun oli altailla. Huoneessa ikävä viemärin haju vessassa. Lapsille ei oikein tekemistä hotellissa eli suosittelen enemmän esim pariskunnille.

Отличное расположение, 100 метров и пляж! Удобные подушки, достаточно большой номер. Были на машине и все три дня находили место на улицах рядом с отелем. Отличный завтрак. Прекрасный дружелюбный персонал.

Номер 106 был на цокольном этаже возле рецепшена; солнца не было, ощущение жилища хобита. Шум от разговоров на рецепшене и постояльцев у входа на рецепшен . На длительный срок скорее нет, чем да.

Super sejour au Leonidas Hotel & Appartements qui est un établissement familial. Nous avons tout apprecié: la gentillesse du personnel, la chambre toute neuve ainsi que le balcon, la piscine... Le petit déjeuner était aussi bien servi. Le centre ville historique est accessible en 15 min à pied en longeant la plage. L hôtel est situé légèrement en retrait de la route longeant la mer, il est donc très calme. Nous avons aussi apprecié la proximité de quelques commerces alimentaires.

Il manquait peut etre juste quelques équipements pour la cuisine (torchon, liquide vaisselle).

its a 10/10 normally but we have to reduce it by one point due to construction noise right next to the building. Its not the hotels fault but still it lowered our stay a bit. I assume it will be perfect next year.

My wife and I stayed in the brand new block that they have just recently added, in fact we were the very first guests to stay there on the 17/05/2026 we stayed in room 213 and everything was immaculate and brand new as was the full block, the hotel/ apartments are only 3 mins from the beach and 1/2 mins from a supermarket and restaurants/bars, everything really is on your doorstep and it is in a perfect location for exploring Rethymno, the hotel/apartments are a family run business and it shows as nothing is too much to trouble for them and they treat you like one of their own.

C'est le meilleur logement auquel nous sommes allés en Crète. Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit mais nous aurions voulu rester plus longtemps, la chambre était très propre et fonctionnelle. L'hôtel est un peu excentré mais dans une petite rue qui rejoint directement à la plage. Le personnel est adorable.

It is a sweet family run business. The staff is sincerely interested in your comfort and well being. Located in a great location for walking into the old town, it’s also enjoyable to hang out at the pool or visit the beach.

Loved everything!

Fantastic location and value for money. Place was spotless. Staff were welcoming. Wi-Fi worked a dream, from the top floor to the pool area. Lots of sunbeds. Rooms cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed every couple days.

Breakfast could be better. We came down half an hour before it finished and some items weren't replenished. Beds were rock hard and pillows too soft but that is just personal preference.

Nous avons passé un super séjour attention juste aux personnes avec des soucis de mobilité, il y a un ascenseur mais des marches doivent quand même être franchies pour y accéder. Ceci dit ma mère avec sa canne a pu accéder sans trop de difficultés

Perfect location to walk into the center and be along the sea and wonderful owners who made the stay comfortable and a small kitchen ideal for family.

It was a little difficult to find parking and see the view of the sea from being located inside a small street.

Staff were very friendly. If the room was missing anything we could ask for it and they would help. The room we stayed in was big and had two balconies. Room service was very respectful of our privacy. Great location, 20 minute walk to the center of the old town and 2 minutes from the beach.

I didn't like that the kitchenette was not stocked with dishwashing liquid, so we had to buy our own bottle. I did ask reception for some but they explained that was not something that they provided so I guess they expect guests to bring their own. It didn't cost much at the local store so it's not a big issue.

Sköna sängar och kuddar. Trevlig personal. Bra AC. Ren och fin pool. Bra frukost. Parkering finns men är liten och rymmer 3-4 bilar. Annars gäller parkering på gatan, vilket kan vara svårt. Rekommenderar hotellet. Inte billigt, ligger bra till stranden.

Das Hotel war super! Wir hatten so viel Stauraum im Zimmer, sodass wir nicht die ganze Zeit unsere Koffer im Weg standen hatten. Die Lage ist wirklich hervorragend. Direkt am Strand und ein katzensprung in die Altstadt! Alles wunderbar und das Personal unglaublich herzlich! Wir werden wiederkommen <3

Great Stay by the Sea! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the beach and the city, which made it easy to enjoy the sea every day. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and offered everything I needed for a relaxing stay. What’s more, the price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality and location. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the coast. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Great, small, quiet hotel with lots of comfortable sun beds around the pool. Lovely superior studio, which they sent a video of before we arrived to show us what it was like. 2 minutes walk to the beach and short walk into the old town. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Not really a fault but no bar next to the pool but they served great range of drinks and delicious snacks.

Great location for the beach and an easy 10 minute stroll up to the old town of Rethymno. Really clean and nicely done out, rooms cleaned daily and the staff are helpful and friendly.

The location was brilliant. By the beach where you can rent two sunbeds and an umbrella for five euros for the day. Easy walk to the old town. Plenty of bars restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were very pleasant too.

The rooms were on the smaller side and the outlook from some rooms is on to a side road/other apartments. When we first arrived we were allocated a ground floor apartment facing a side street which felt quite dark and overlooked. The owner was helpful in allowing us to move two days later and our second room was higher up and much lighter. We would advise specifying the kind of outlook/which floor you would like when booking.

Location, modern and very tidy rooms. Parking is ideal in this area. Staff was lovely, too!

En familj på 4 (14 & 11 åringa barn) som spenderade några dagar på hotellet. Suverän bemötande och väldigt bra läge till stranden och till ”Gamlestaden”. Familjeägt hotell som sköts passionerad av hela familjen. Rekommenderas verkligen.

We had an amazing 8-day stay! We were celebrating an anniversary and were welcomed with a beautifully decorated bed, a bottle of wine and home-made cookies. The team went out of their way to show excellent customer service. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was well maintained, with very comfortable sun loungers. We tried some things from their pool menu, and it was all fresh and delicious, at a fair price. The hotel is located just a few steps from the beach, and there is a large number of restaurants. (Overall, the quality of restaurants in Rethymno is high.) We wanted to rent a car for both our arrival and departure, and the manager, Olga, organized it for us, which saved us a lot of money, and the car was conveniently delivered to the airport and the hotel, respectively. We are looking forward to coming back soon and we would definitively recommend anyone to stay at the Leonidas - we couldn't have asked for a lovelier or more relaxing, hassle-free holiday! The team really takes good care of you! We have worked and traveled all over the world, and we have rarely come across a gem such as the Leonidas. A big thanks to Mr. Leonidas, Olga, and the rest of the team! Efcharisto poli!

Friendly and clean accommodation with lovely pool and garden. Staff responsive and helpful. Good value for money.

The staff were super friendly and they did their best so you could feel comfortable. Even though we were only there for one night some sweets and carnival props were in our room!! The location is perfect right in front of the beach and in walking distance from the center. I loved that it’s a pet friendly hotel which is very rare to find!!

Séjour en studio rez de chaussée avec vue piscine. Équipement suffisant dans le studio. Il manquerait peut-être juste une éponge et du produit vaisselle pour nettoyer la vaisselle si on veut manger dans le studio. Ambiance familiale. Calme. Bon séjour

Fantastisk hotel, rigtigt sødt personale og størrelsen på hotellet og beliggenhed var perfekt. Poolen og faciliteter skal kun deles med ca. 25 værelser, så der er en fantastisk stemning og du har stort set poolen for dig selv, også i højsæson. Det kan ikke ligge meget tættere på stranden, men er alligevel gemt godt for støjen fra strandvejen. Kunne ikke være bedre beliggenhed. Dejligt værelse med soveværelse med altan, mellemgang med køkken og adgang til toilet og en værelse med 2 enkeltstående senge med altan. Begge værelser har deres egen aircondition, som fungere godt også om natten.

The location, the staff were very good. The room was super comfy and we appreciated the balcony with a view on the pool. The beach was about a one minute walk 👍🏼

The breakfast was nothing special but it was still pleasant to eat outdoors in the mornings.

When we arrived we were surprised to find the hotel down a short alley from the sea front. However, the hotel is very nice and extremely well kept. The location is perfect, across the road from the beach, 10 minutes walk to the old town and surrounded by bars, restaurants with supermarkets and Patisserie within a very short walk. The pool area is really nice and as the hotel is so close to the beach and most guests spend their day there, there are always sunbeds available. The gardens and pool were very well kept. The rooms are nicely presented and clean. The maids do a good job! The rooms come with a fridge and coffee maker but no kettle so we had to buy one locally. SPECIAL MENTION - The staff are a credit to the hotel! Every member of staff throughout the day and night was very helpful and very welcoming! Well Done!! We had a great time!
