It was in a very good position if you are looking for place filled with tourists. The breakfast area has great views and in a beautiful setting.

I wasnt expecting it to be such a busy tourist spot. Also the pool did not meet my expectations. It was basically at the entrance to the hotel, right next to street so there is no privacy and very limited seating which was a disappointment because the pictures dont show it looking like that. The bedroom could have been dusted and cleaned better.

the rooms was spacious and the views to the beach were as advertised. The reception staff were also very friendly.

The lack of working WiFi for two whole days.

Location is amazing, it’s right on the beach. Hotel is a bit older, but very clean. Rooms are cleaned daily, staff is really helpful. Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast, coffee was great and the girl who managed the guests at breakfast during my stay was wonderful! Hotel staff arranged my airport transportation which made everything easier for me.

I didn't like that we had to pay the hotel for beach towels. I didn't like that I had to pay for a key to lock and unlock the safe in my room. I didn't like that my towels weren't changed every day especially the floor mat. I didn't like that my bed sheets were not changed every day. There is some kind of smell lingering on in the hallways from the restaurant attached to the building, and because they don't have the air conditioner on. The shower has no shower head . They don't provide body soap or hair conditioner. The white towels are grey/yellowish. The place is kind of dated.

Perfecte locatie, op zo’n 10/15min loopafstand van de oude stad waar volop tavernes en winkeltjes te vinden zijn. Hotel gelegen aan de boulevard, met strand aan de andere kant van de straat (gratis ligbedjes wanneer je voor €8 pp eet of drinkt, hoort bij het restaurant onder het hotel, hier krijg je ook 10% korting). Kamer met uitzicht op zee. Type appartement kamer met 2 aparte kamers (keuken met tafeltje en (slaap)banken én een aparte slaapkamer met badkamer erbij. Wij hadden een babybedje in de kamer staan, wat ideaal was voor onze baby. Kamer had 2 balkons met zitje en droogrek, dweil en veger. Ontbijt was top, in buffetvorm en voor ieder wat wils. Wij hebben geen auto gehuurd omdat het onzeker zou zijn of we konden parkeren (hoogseizoen). Taxi vanaf Heraklion kost €95 (via hotel). Uiteindelijk hadden we geen auto gehuurd, maar dit had wel gekund, rondom het hotel waren wel parkeerplekken vrij, misschien wat zoeken, maar regelmatig vrije plekjes gezien.

2 Nächte war es extrem laut aufgrund von anderen Gästen. Morgens um 4Uhr lief laute Musik und alkoholisierte Gäste schrien auf dem Flur. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts, aber die Zimmer sind nicht gut genug isoliert. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, aber wenig gesundes Müsli oder geschnittenes Obst. Keine Brötchen.

The staff was very friendly. We arrived 3 hours before check-in and staff allowed us to check-in early at no extra charge.

The safety deposit box in the room was an extra cost, yet both their website and the booking.com ad shows it included in the amenities. Guests are also expected to wash and dry their dishes in the kitchenette, which is no problem. However they don’t supply you with dish soap or any drying towels? Also, in the small check-in booklet provided, guests are expected to check the inventory and working condition of all the kitchen utensils, and cookware, and if there are any issues upon check-out, guests will be charged.

Die Lage direkt am Strand war sehr gut.

Die Inneneinrichtung war geschmacklich und von der Ausstattung nicht gut. Das Zimmer selbst war mehr wie im Krankenhaus, der TV hing mitten im Raum, die Küche war farblich sehr unmodern und auch der Tisch mit den Stühlen nicht wirklich schön. Bei der Zimmerausstattung gibt es somit noch viel Verbesserungsbedarf

Nearly sea said, very nice

Nærme stranda og gamle byen. Hyggelig personalet som alltid hilser. Veldig bra opplegg og vil anbefale til alle som tenker en strandferie med lite opphold på rommet generelt!

Kunne fått nye håndklær hver dag. Litt lite plass for 3 voksene på rommet. Veldig lite bad og ingen helfigur speil. Heller ingen stikk kontakt på badet.

We checked in in the early hours of the morning due to a delayed flight and in no time the smiling Dino had given us our room key. The room was stunning with a fantastic view over to the beach and old town and fort. It was spotless and clean,a big shout out to the cleaners who do a fantastic job and always smiled and said hello. The restaurant below was used for breakfast in the morning and then set up for lunch and dinner during the day,fantastic food and the young girl serving was always happy and was Pano across at the beach. Maria on reception was very helpful as were all the staff at this hotel,but I have to say that Lydia on reception is amazing and a credit to this hotel,always said hello and you can tell she loves dealing the public. The hotel is about 10 minute walk from the old town and plenty of restaurants and bars around. The setting was perfect for us and wouldn't hesitate to return to Rethymno and stay there again. Thanks to you all for a fantastic holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Steris. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the room is clean and spacious with AC available, and the location is perfect. There is also an outdoor pool at the hotel, but we didn't use it. The beach is right across from the hotel, and the restaurant downstairs (that also hosts the breakfast) has sunbeds for free. The location is particularly great because of the access to the beach, many restaurants nearby, and it's also just a 10/20-min walk away from the old town and port. - Breakfast: We had the breakfast buffet for our entire stay which was very nice, lots of meat and vegetarian options. For me, as a vegan, there were not lots of options so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it (however, I think it's relevant to mention that the restaurant itself does have vegan options in their actual menu and they were very accommodating with vegan dishes when we went for dinner for instance). For my partner, who eats everything, the breakfast buffet was 10/10.

Since there is no private parking, that can be a bit of an issue, but it's not a problem of the hotel and, at least for us, we always found a spot by the hotel or a couple blocks nearby - it all depends on the time you try to park to be honest.

Har vært mange steder, men dette var beste hotellopplevelsen vår. Maria, Lydia og de andre tok utrolig godt vare på oss gjennom hele oppholdet - booket transfer og restauranter, osv. Rommet var supert og ble holdt rent og pent av dyktige og hyggelige damer. De blide og serviceinnstilte folka i restauranten tok vare på oss og våre ønsker gjennom både frokoster og deilige dager på stranden foran hotellet. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Er is geen eigen parkeergelegenheid bij het complex. Soms wel 4x rondrijden in de wijk om een plekje te bemachtigen

Zeer vriendelijke jonge vrouw bij de receptie en bij het ontbijt. Ontbijt was ter plaatse ook te regelen en het was prima verzorgd

Hotel heeft geen eigen parkeerplaats waardoor je de huurauto wel een eindje verderop moet zetten.....In het hoogseizoen is dat vermoedelijk wel een dingetje

Ligging prima, kamer oké én schoon, personeel vriendelijk. Op loopafstand van oude centrum en superlicht bij het strand, restaurant ma etc

Ligging kamer. Begane grond met klein plaatsje uitkijkend op “niets”. Beetje weggestopt. Zwembad stelt eigenlijk niets voor qua grote en ligging. Waren met auto. Beter niet doen want parkeerplaats vinden is heel moeilijk.

Excellent breakfast, sooo friendly and helpful staff at reception and at the Olli restaurant! Cannot recommend enough! I had a very pleasant stay, the room was very clean and well equipped with coffee machine and tabs and small kitchen unit so you could enjoy a light meal on the balcony if wished. Thank you for a very nice holiday, especially due to the staff at hotel and restaurant Olli. Hope to come soon again.

Great location, nice walk along the front into the city, restaurants all the way down places to sit, straight opposite hotel sunbeds on the beach we went in may and if you spent a min on €10 they were free or. €5 extra for the front row beds. Clean hotel, lovely friendly staff, got free street parking easily within a short walk, didn't use the pool but it was actually better than it looked in pictures. Lovely breakfast on the front, I would definitely stay here again when visiting the city

L’emplacement proche de la plage est très appréciable. On est pas très loin du centre ville pour y aller à pied.

La piscine très petite et à la vue de tous les passants n est pas du tout un atout pour l’hôtel. Dommage car je cherchais un hôtel avec piscine. Pas de place de parking réservé pour l’hôtel. On se gare très difficilement dans la rue.

Very friendly reception staff. Enjoyed the nespresso machine in the room. Everything very fresh and clean. Fantastic location near the port and old town making it easy to walk everywhere. Highly recommended.

It's a lovely seaside family hotel with all modern amenities. You can have breakfast enjoying a breathtaking view facing Rethymno beach. The personal is really nice and helpful. Worth your holiday chill! Recommend!

Καθαριότητα, ευγένεια, εξυπηρέτηση, ότι χρειαστείς είναι στο δωμάτιο χωρίς να ζητήσεις τίποτα, και ο μπουφές για το πρωινό καλύπτει και τον πιο απαιτητικό πελάτη . Όσο για την θέση του ξενοδοχείου από το πιο όμορφα σημεία της πόλης.

Huoneen ohjeistuksessa oli lopputiskaamisesta ohjeet, mutta ei tiskausvälineitä ja jätti epäilyksen, että onko astiat tiskattu kunnolla. Saimme respasta välineet ha he sanoivat, että lopputiskauksen tekevät siivoojat, joten voitte olla huoletta. Ohjeistuksen voisi päivittää tuon mukaiseksi.

The hotel is right on the beach, where it has a stretch of its own beach chairs and umbrellas. The full sea-view room with balcony was well worth the upgrade. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were very good. And the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The hotel doesn’t have any parking (which they are perfectly upfront about), and finding a spot on the street nearby takes some time and patience. It’s a bit of a hike to the Old Town, but that too is part of the trade-off one makes for having the beautiful beach access and sea views.

De locatie aan het strand, keurige kamer, elke dag schoonmaak en regelmatig wisselen van handdoeken en lakens. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Ook het restaurant Olli en de service bij de strandstoelen waren erg goed en erg vriendelijk. We voelden ons echt te gast!

Väldigt vänlig personal i receptionen. Mimosa som städade var trevlig och tipsade om restauranger som vi skulle gå till.

Köksplaneringen var inte den bästa med alla luckor åt olika håll.

Douche, water liep niet weg en de hele badkamer wordt nat van het douchen door de losse douchekop. Wifi was te onvoorspelbaar om een film te streamen.

The staff were very helpful with answering questions about transport, organising taxis and general information. The cleaning staff were so lovely and did a great job everyday. Location was excellent, across from the beach and near many shops and restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and the staff amazing. You could also use the hotel lounges on the beach if you just purchased a drink.

The shower was a bit hard to manage and it was hard to keep the water from going all over the bathroom. Also we had a partial ocean view but our main view was of an abandoned lot full of junk. Didn't make sitting on the balcony appealing as we were directly across from it on Level 1. A box of tissues or paper towels in room would have been great.

Excellent friendly service in the Dinning Room both in the morning and in particular in the evening, where we enjoyed delicious traditional Greek cuisine, very good house wine combined with complimentary cake and an aperitif to match. We will return.
