L’emplacement est absolument magique. J’adore me poser au bar La Passerelle à différentes heures de la journée pour profiter de la vue exceptionnelle sur la plage, qui change avec la lumière, c’est un enchantement. Nous apprécions aussi les restaurants et les thermes ainsi que le parcours Aquatonic. Le personnel est attentionné et le niveau de service élevé.

Pas aimé est excessif, dans les points les moins forts je citerais la salle de bains pas moderne du tout et la literie qui pourrait être encore meilleure dans un établissement de ce standing.

Que booking débite deux fois mon compte bancaire du prix du séjour !

Ein Manager im Außenrestaurant war nicht sehr nett als ich gefragt habe ob man auch das Menü von der Karte drinnen essen kann. Im Cap horn waren die Austern warm und am nächsten Tag hatte ich Fieber und Bauchschmerzen.

Très belle chambre, spacieuse, confortable avec une grande terrasse pour profiter du soleil. La vue est magnifique dans tout l'établissement et le personnel est particulièrement attentif et serviable. Le petit déjeuner était très bien avec vue sur la mer. L'hôtel est idéalement situé. Je recommande.

Lovely and grand seaside hotel. The proximity to the Saint Malo train station is excellent and it is directly on the waterfront of a beautiful beach with close walking access maybe a 20 minute walk to the old city. Definitely has that 19th century ‘ the doctor prescribed me some fresh air’ vibes which we loved. We had a regular room with a garden view and we’re perfectly happy with the room itself. We didn’t need an ocean view to enjoy our stay because you see the ocean from everywhere in the property all of the common areas and the ocean is literally steps away.

Nothing. For some reason, I thought there was going to be an outdoor swimming pool, but there is not it’s indoors which is fine.

We would have loved to stay more, but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. We will definitely come back here again! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Byliśmy z dwójką dzieci i mieliśmy problem, żeby zjadły w hotelowych restauracjach. Restauracje i bary nie oferowały kids menu, makaron był tylko w room service, który nie jest 24/7. Brakuje też basenu dla rodzin z dziećmi, trochę czuliśmy się jak w sanatorium dla starszych osób. Śniadanie tylko do 10.00, więc musielibyśmy budzić ich bardzo wcześnie, więc zrezygnowaliśmy ze śniadań.

Stayed here for three nights in August 2026. This is the best beach property in Saint-Malo and there is a lot to like. Great location, nice boardwalk, saltwater pool. But there are a few things that are uneven at best. The hotel isn't really five-star. More like a nice Marriott or 4-star. That's fine, but don't expect true 5 star rooms. The service was strangely inconsistent. At its best, there was a friendly check-in and a concierge who stopped everything to fix one of the hotel's e-bikes. At its worst, there was a shouting match with the pool cleaner, who demanded we exit the pool before the 8:00 pm closing so he could get to work and a front desk person who made a point of muttering "as you should" when he asked if we had locked up the bikes on return (but before inspection). The property was 95% French vacationers, which makes non-French guests a bit of an outlier.

El Grand Hotel des Thermes nos encantó. Está ubicado en primera línea de playa y ofrece una vista maravillosa al mar. Se encuentra a una distancia razonable del hermoso centro histórico, lo que permite acceder fácilmente a sus principales atractivos. El hotel es bello y elegante, y el desayuno, exquisito y muy completo. Sin duda, lo recomiendo.

bon accueil bonne prise en charge à notre arrivée le diner pas top à la terrasse, nous n'avons pas eu l'apéro commander, ensuite on a pris 2 verres de rosé, le serveur nous a dit cadeau du fait de l'oubli de l'apéro, trop long durée attente... aussi pour le dessert lors du paiement, les 2 verres de rosé étaient comptés... coté chambre pas top , la douche était bouchée, donc 1ere douche et de l'eau partout dans la salle de bain dommage pour une soirée ça fait beaucoup de négatif sinon situation top pour notre besoin, on prenait le bateau pour jersey tot le matin autre soucis qui a été résolu, voiture garée devant la notre à 5h30 du matin petit coup de panique mais l'accueil à gérer pour déplacer le véhicule

Cela faisait 4 ans que je n’étais pas venue. Tout était fantastique, la qualité du service, de la table, le confort de la chambre, l’emplacement unique.

Le service au restaurant La Terrasse reste à améliorer : attente trop longue, service approximatif qui dénote avec le reste de l’expérience très positive de l’établissement.

Nous avons passé un super séjour, l’hôtel est très agréable, avec beaucoup d’espace de convivialité. Il est idéalement situé, c’est un excellent endroit pour poser ses bagages.

On a eu une très belle chambre fraîchement rénovée et avec une superbe terrasse qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement du soleil. Cafetière à dosettes à disposition, minibar et des petits chocolats sur l’oreiller - trop chouette! Le petit déjeuner avec vue sur la mer, ainsi que la verrière pour prendre un verre au top. On reviendra!

Les gens qui viennent en peignoir au petit déjeuner, je ne trouve pas ça digne d’un restaurant de cet niveau…

Personnel à la réception très professionnel et particulièrement merci au Monsieur grand lunette jeune je pense 35 40 ans très pro toujours agréable à chaque fois que je viens dans l'établissement.

Le service du repas du restaurant du soir j'ai fait monté le repas en chambre mais ça été du début à la fin une catastrophe et cela aurait pu mal finir...room service déplorable et pourtant j'ai l'habitude de fréquenter des grands établissements je n'ai jamais vu ça. 1. J'étais malade je demande donc si l'on peut me monter le sac de médicaments qui était resté dans la bagagerie (pour ne pas m'encombrer en chambre ) la personne qui prend l'appel me répond qu'ils sont pressés, qu'ils n'ont pas que ça à faire, qu'il viendront quand il pourront ...un peu gêné j'ai répondu pas de souci ...même si j'étais très malade et que j'avais besoin de mon médicament, j'ai attendu une heure je m'apprêtais à descendre car je ne tenais plus quand la personne est arrivée avec mon sac l'a déposé dans l'entrée de la chambre. 2. Toujours malade je téléphone pour me faire monter le repas du soir en chambre. Je tombe sur la même personne très désagréable qui me dit qu'il n'a pas le temps de prendre ma commande qu'il me rappelle, il était débordé. 15 min après il était agacé car j'ai des allergies alimentaires pas de chance ce monsieur n'était pas très sensible et pensais que je faisait des manières. Je lui demande la liste des ingrédients dans une soupe. Il y avait un terme dont je ne connaissais pas il s'agissait de blé or je suis allergique au blé.

We have to say this is one of the best service we have received in any hotel ever. Our trains were canceled from Paris to Saint malo, we had to get to SM hence we drove . It took us a good 4 plus hours and by the time we got to the hotel it was past midnight. We called ahead and let the hotel know of the situation. When we got to the hotel , the most amazing service was rendered. Can’t remember the gentleman name , he had several tattoos and he was amazing . He came out to the car helped us with our luggage and brought us immediately to our room and gave us bottles of water to recharge and told us I will take care of the rest of things , he said I am here all night and if we need anything to call him. This is not just service, this is anticipating and making some feel looked after. He went above and beyond and was just so genuine and authentic. We had a good sleep and the rest of the next two days at this hotel was just amazing . Everyone was well prepared and service was good everywhere, the spa the breakfast and reception . Top notch place. Great for relaxation nd excellent location.

We liked this hotel and our suite with its 66 m² and 2 bedrooms (at about US$1000 per day). For us, it was surprising that it did not have 2 toilets but it did have two bathrooms. We had many windows and a truly magnificent view of La Manche, the beach at Sillon and Epi de le Hoguette. We could see the walls of Saint Malo. The bedroom/salon area of the suite desperately needed sheer curtains. The glare made it difficult to see at different times of the day. The hotel was right on the boardwalk and next to the sand. It was a wonderful location. The manager of the front desk left us a welcoming note and we received gifts of a beautiful flower arrangement, a fruit plate, as well as Chef Sylvain Dahirel’s (very good) chocolate. There was also an orchid plant in the bedroom that Audre loved. The housekeeping staff did a good job during our stay and had prepared the room as we had requested. We even had two desks. There was plenty of storage and we used the second bedroom as our luggage storage area. With them open, we did not need to unpack. Breakfast was good, with eggs and porridge prepared to order and a complete buffet. The staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. We found an area that was not under the air conditioning so it was not too cold for us. The hotel had e-bikes that we could rent for half day (29€ per bike) that were excellent. One day we road 29 km for oysters in Cancale (and they were delicious). Another day we used our bikes twice—once to ride to Saint Servan for lunch and then again to ride to Saint Malo for dinner. It is the first time we ever road bikes to and from dinner! Because it stays light so late this far north, it was daylight when we returned after dinner at about 22:00. We had dinner at Le Cap Horn Restaurant twice (in the same space as breakfast) and we had good meals. We loved watching the wing foiling—a sport new to us—using the evening winds. The spa/fitness/pool and all of the related areas were not user-friendly for hotel guests who do not have an appointment for a treatment or a class or a related activity. When we used the fitness room there were no towels available in the room or nearby. Audre went in search and found a spa employee in front of a room full of towels. She asked the employee for 2 towels and the employee said no and directed her to walk down a hall to get towels from shelves. Is that 5-star? No and it is also a poorly trained employee. Le prix du parcours aquatique… alors que par téléphone lorsque j’ai demandé si les activités piscine sauna… étaient accessibles aux hôtes de l’hôtel on m’a répondu que oui… sans préciser cette spécificité. Cela m’a coûté 120€ alors que je ne m’y attendais pas. J’aurais bien apprécié un geste commercial lorsque j’en ai parlé au moment du Check out.

Ma réservation était faite depuis le 30 janvier et ils ont mis 10 minutes à retrouver ma réservation, un problème avec le service client (apparemment) Beaucoup de monde au spa, pas beaucoup de place pour circuler et ne buvez surtout pas la tasse car le parcours aquatique est à l’eau de mer

The market themselves as thermal spa hotel but the use of the spa is not included in the room rate, which is not made clear at any point and only when we came to check out did we find a charge for the spa on our bill. The room are quite small and the bathroom need updating. We booked a room with a city view but the view was actually just over the internal roof of the restaurant and no real view of the city. Laundry service is very expensive at €7.5 for a pair of boxer shorts (which came back not even ironed !!) and €6 for a pair of socks!!

Beaucoup de personnel très aimable et professionnel. Le restaurant gastronomique et le petit déjeuner sont très biens avec une vue magnifique. La chambre que nous avions n’a pas encore été rénovée. Il ne manque mais ce n’est pas très moderne. Les lits et oreillers sont très confortables. Je recommande cet hôtel.

The amenities, the views, the restaurants and the breakfast were all amazing. A beautiful hotel we’ll definitely be returning to if we’re ever in the area.

The rooms are a little outdated (old tv, old carpet, old and confusing shower) other than that, it was very clean and comfortable, just a little below what os expected of a 5 star hotel.

Frühstück bietet einfach alles und den Meerblick haben wir besonders genossen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir waren überrascht von der sehr guten Küche.

Das Zimmer könnte für diesen Preis schicker sein, momentan solide, hochwertig im Grand Hotel Stil. Ich finde, dass bei dieser Preiskategorie das Frühstück immer im Preis inkludiert sein sollte.

La localisation. L'aquatonic. Le balcon. La douche qu'on a failli avoir car on aime pas les baignoires.

La baignoire, le bidet, la machine à café (on préfère la bonne vieille bouilloire), le room service, la difficulté à se garer, la fermeture du seul boulanger du coin non indiquée sur sa porte, la bruit des enfants qui crient et plongent dans l'aquatonic, le petit déjeuner qui perd en qualité tous les ans, plus ou moins la même chose, la vitesse avec laquelle le personnel oublie nos demandes etc. !
