The Old Quarter Townhouse

Super bien situé dans une ruelle sympa et calme à deux pas du point de départ des bus longue distance et des tours, et d'un centre commercial ainsi que d'un quartier commerçant mignon et animé, la vieille ville à 10min à pied. Lits confortables, rideaux faisant bien le noir. J'ai adoré les micro lampes de chevet qui permettaient de lire sans déranger l'autre.

It is located in the city center. You can access the shops, restaurents and even the sightseeings by foot easily. The room was clean and the staff were friendly.

The room is very small. It is located above a bar with loud music till after midnight. The room was very hot and there was no AC. The elevator only goes till the first floor and we had to bring out suitcases up with stairs.

Sehr schönes, großes Zimmer und großes Bad. Leider fast die ganze Nacht viel Lärm von draußen. Mit Ohrenstöpseln ging es dann (unbedingt mitnehmen 😉). Man kann Abends gut im Pub unten essen, auch das Frühstück war prima.

Noises room even with ear plugs. Only a thought to look at the age of the patrons and locate their room accordingly. Up till 2 am both nights with people yelling and screaming

We were warned on arrival that there would be a lot of college students in the area at night. It sounded like a block party that lasted pretty late into the night.

Great location close to everything, exceptionally clean, comfortable bed, very quiet, the best Irish Full breakfast I’ve had!

Outside was very dirty. Loud at night with cigarette smoke coming in our bedroom windows.

Dormimos la noche del sabado. Está encima de un tomacopas con la música a tope. Hasta la 1 y de la mañana que cerraron fue imposible dormir.

Excelente localização. Qualidade da comida do restaurante localizado na entrada. Boas alternativas de restauração nas redondezas. Pessoal simpático e disponível. Comida do pequeno almoço com qualidade. Proximidade de estacionamento.

Quarto pequeno com pouca luz e mobília. Casa de banho escura, com laje do chão partida, e sem local para toalhas. Pequeno almoço com prato de serviço único e com pouca quantidade (não permite repetir dose). Relação preço qualidade péssimo. Esperava muito mais.

Habitación grande y cómoda. Ubicación muy céntrica.

El Hotel está justo encima de uno de los pub con mas actividad de la zona (creo) y con lo que genera ruido y música. Si vas en plan descansar/familiar no sería muy recomendable. Nosotros tuvimos suerte porque solo estuvimos 1 noche (lunes) y la actividad era nula; era el día de descanso.

La cama es cómoda.

Horrible, hay un pub justo debajo y el ruido de la música se escuchaba mucho. El problema no fue solo ese, sino que muy cerca del hotel hay otro pub o discoteca con la música incluso mas fuerte, hasta las 3 de la mañana para luego añadir todos los gritos de todos los borrachos que salían de allí. Como broche de oro, a la 1:30h sonó el teléfono de la habitación para preguntarnos algo sobre la TV cuando ni siquiera estaba encendida. El baño era muy pequeño y la ducha no tenía presión de agua. El secador del pelo dejó de funcionar a los 2 minutos por alguna razón que desconozco.

Easy walk to pubs, restaurants, river front.

Extremely small, especially the bathroom. Very noisy at night. Lots of people screaming and yelling on the street below our windows. The doors to the room slam shut. People just let go of the door and it slams. Even with loop earplugs sleeping was extremely difficult and when I did fall asleep someone would let their door slam and wake me up.

Great staff, friendly and helpful. Room comfy for the most part.

We were on back side with church out the window. There was a dripping noise all night outside the windows room 118. We needed the windows open for air. Drain needs looking at. Also room doors do not close quietly. They slam shut. Would be good to have quiet closing hinge system.

Excellent location. I’ve stayed multiple times, it’s always clean, staff always friendly and the room very comfortable.

It would be great if parking was included in the price, or at least a discount for the multi-storey next door. Also, for the price we paid I was surprised to learn our breakfast wasn’t included.

The pillows were hard. The mirror light in the bathroom didn’t work. The noise level was fine during the pubs evening event but after closing, noise levels increased for quite some.

that I couldn't dry my hair in the morning! with my Dyson. my hair can't be dried with a regular hair dryer. since I've come a long way from treatment. I left the apartment with a wet head. (the roots didn't dry) and as luck would have it. the weather was cold. I got sick. I still feel bad. when I reported the problem with the sockets (my mother, to be exact) the administrators couldn't do anything for me to dry my hair! for example, find an extension cord! only the cleaning lady tried to help us! bad mood! illness! and this is all because your staff can't solve the problem! (just have extension cords) or go and buy at least one. so that guests don't leave with a wet head.

Sólo tuvimos un pequeño incidente con el desayuno que nos retrasó la jornada media hora (se confundieron con uno de los platos y esperaron a entregar el resto de comandadas de la sala para hacerlo de nuevo)

Location was good and walkable to the lively spots. Parking is basically at the door. There’s a weekend market very close by.

It is VERY Loud. We were a first floor room front facing as close to the bar as could be (this wasn’t advertised) the window closed made no noticeable difference. If you’re planning on being out this is a perfect location however if you expect a decent night sleep head elsewhere. Lighting in the room wasn’t fantastic.

Helplessly overpriced, small, cell like room with feeble shower needing a good clean. Room poorly ventilated. The doors are spring loaded and close very noisily. Noise outside until early in the morning.

The room was clean but smelled strongly of mothballs. Although we were given a room on the “quiet” side, the music was very loud and the beat made the room vibrate.

Property was well set up on a small side street in Limerick. Staff was kind and helpful. Easy check in and out. Restaurant next door was standard pub fare with good food. Was good for a 2-night stay for a work trip. Close enough to walk around central Limerick.

Nothing exceptional about the property but it does its job.

Rooms are above a bar which, on a Saturday, is exceptionally loud. To be fair, they do warn you multiple times about noise - but, be aware, that Ireland does not have an 11pm noise curfew like the UK. The fully amplified band started playing at 10:30pm and finished around 1am - so there was no chance of sleeping until after they finished (even with earplugs)

Very noisy location. Warm in the room so needed to open windows. With windows open we heard the drunks all night long. They do list that it might be noisy but had no idea it would be that bad. We hardly slept

It was easy to get to other places in town while walking. Our room, 102, was spacious.

The toilet seat was very loose. I tightened it down, because I fix things. Small issue.

Die Lage, Sehenswürdigkeiten waren zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Zimmer war komfortabel.Das dazugehörige Pub war schön, das Essen gut.

Das Bad war sehr klein, es gab keine Abstellmöglichkeiten für eigene Toilettenartikel. Der Zugang zu Wifi war so kompliziert, das wir es aufgegeben haben. Zum Frühstück gab es leider kein frisches Obst.
