L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal. L'établissement est très calme, parfait pour un séjour de détente. En revanche, il y a peu de commerces ou d'animations à proximité immédiate (bars, salons de thé, etc.).

Très mauvaise expérience à l'arrivée : plus d'une heure d'attente pour le check-in. La réception était totalement débordée et désorganisée, avec des bagages entassés un peu partout. De plus, la climatisation laissait à désirer et il n'y avait aucune place disponible au bord de la piscine.

L'insonorisation entre les chambres un point qui doit être soulevé très important pour que le séjour soit plus agréable car des jour on eu du mal a dormir certains nuit.

La ristorazione era ottima e varia, ma la sala sembrava un refettorio ed era molto rumorosa ed affollata. Il pavimento era spesso scivoloso e unto. Il mare era abbastanza cristallino, ma a giorni era notevole la presenza di alghe.

Il personale alla reception era piuttosto scortese e poco disponibile. La camera era datata e pulita in modo approssimativo. Il personale addetto alla pulizia della camera si è dimostrato scortese. Spesso non c’è servizio di facchinaggio. La struttura non è all’altezza del livello 5 stelle e ha bisogno di manutenzione. La spiaggia era trascurata, molti lettini erano semi rotti e sporchi. Il soggiorno è stato spesso disturbato da interruzioni di corrente ( con le luci di emergenza che si accendevano improvvisamente nel corso della notte ). Una sera si è interrotta per alcune ore la fornitura d’acqua.

Первое впечатление оставил грязный ресепшион в пыли , в грязи . Потом зашли в номер вся мебель старая , кондиционеры грязные . Матрасы старые . Зеркало уже от старости начало темнеть . Нет душа в ванной .я заплатила 500 $ за номер в день в пятизвездочном отеле и не ожидала увидеть это все . Еще новости что полотенце не выдают бесплатно , нужно депозит 50 динар за каждое полотенце . За такие деньги можно спокойно отдохнуть в Турции даже в Дубай тоже отель на первой линии и отель бренда как Le royal meridian ,ritz cartlon . Не рекомендую отдыхать в этом отеле

Plus de personnel que les années précédentes,service optimisé, buffet tjrs point fort, amélioration des animations,notamment le groupe du ballet aquatique, les femmes de ménage toujours disponible, à nouveau du porc au petit déjeuner, on sent une nouvelle dynamique s'installer...

Peut être l'absence d'œufs dur au déjeuner et dîner, contrairement aux années précédentes... L'organisation de la queue au buffet aux heures de pointe

Propreté moyenne (devoir demander chaque jour pour que la chambre soit faite, pas normal pour un 5 étoiles), mais surtout des animations sonores matin, midi et soir extrêmement bruyantes, empêchant notre fils de 1 an de dormir correctement. Nous avons demandé 2x à changer de chambre pour être + au clame mais en vain.

Petit déjeuné et repas variés, salle toujours propre même en plein rush. Bon accueil, présent en cas de besoin, l’entretient des chambre était parfait, le personnel nous réalisé de jolies décorations sur notre lit pour notre voyage de noces. La plage et la piscine (et les alentours) étaient propres.

Un petit soucis avec le sèche cheveux, il a arreté de fonctionner en pleine utilisation mais a fini par remarcher au bout d’un moment, Les techniciens ne sont pas très réactifs nous les avons contacté 2 fois pour 2 soucis mais ils ne sont jamais venu mais nous en avons informé la réception.

Vraiment, la clé de la réussite de cet hôtel, c’est tout le système et surtout toute l’équipe qui travaille derrière. Tout était parfait, et surtout la cuisine ! Un grand merci au chef, très généreux, gentil et professionnel, et particulièrement merci d’avoir préparé la nourriture de notre bébé avec autant d’attention. ❤️ L’équipe d’animation est très énergique et crée une super ambiance. Les portiers, l’équipe du parking, les surveillants et les femmes de ménage sont tous très polis, respectueux et serviables. On sent que chaque personne joue un rôle important dans la qualité du service. Franchement, bravo à toute l’équipe pour votre accueil, votre gentillesse et votre professionnalisme. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous reviendrons certainement avec toute la famille avec grand plaisir ! ❤️👏

Le seul petit point négatif était le retard pour avoir notre chambre à notre arrivée. Surtout dans le cas d’avoir un bébé Sinon, tout était vraiment parfait.

L’albergo è molto grande e molto bello, in un’ottima posizione: si può uscire a piedi e arrivare con una gradevole passeggiata alla Medina. C’è una piscina tripla esterna capace di accogliere molte persone. Ottimo e vario il buffet con lo staff del personale disponibile e veloce. Molti punti ristoro e bar. La formula all inclusive è perfetta! Include anche gli alcolici e tutti gli extra.

Essendo una struttura molto grande ci sono troppe persone e di conseguenza spesso non si trova posto sui lettini attorno alla piscina peraltro tutti molto attaccati uno all’altro. Sulla spiaggia c’è poca cura: i lettini sono vecchi e la pulizia scarseggia. Anche l’animazione e gli spettacoli proposti potrebbero migliorare. Non è un posto adatto a chi cerca la tranquillità e il silenzio almeno non in alta stagione.

Hygiène déplorable du restaurant buffet. Couverts et assiettes sales, nettoyage clairement pas professionnel. Tourisme de très grande masse, manque de civisme et de respect : jeune et moins jeune mettent les mains dans les plateaux pour se servir, sans honte sans respect pour les autres !!! En plus de l'état d'hygiène général du restaurant résultat tous atteints d'intoxication, vomissements et diarrhée virulente, le dernier jour on a cru qu'on allait rater l'avion : retour en France direction les urgences !!! Personnel de piscine très laxiste, impossible de se détendre à la piscine, ça court partout, ça éclabousse, ça touche vos affaires personnel (votre serviette de bain !!) Et ça n'hésite pas à passer entre vos transats via les 15 cm d'espace, un vrai bordel, un immense camping sauvage la piscine. En chambre invasion de fourmi qui sortent du mur !!! Dans le personnel y a de tout, des sympas, des aigris et même des mal élevés. J'ai payé une fortune ( 1 suite et 1 chambre double) ça ne valait pas le coup du tout ! A éviter ou prévoir smecta et vogalene car attention le médecin est à 2 de tension, il peut passer à minuit constater que vous faites bien une diarrhée et ça vous coutera 50 EUROS, oui oui il faut le payer en euros et il n'aura même pas un cachet à vous donner pour passer la nuit. Grosse déception, je ne reviendrai jamais.

La piètre qualité des transats inconfortables sales et indignes d'un cinq étoiles les plagistes ne font pas leur travail et sont assis à bavarder ils ne nettoient pas ne placent pas de matelas sur transat et ne fournissent aucune aide De plus il existe un partage aberrant de la plage de l'hôtel environ un tiers est interdit aux résidents et réservé à ceux qui paient entre 80 et 100 dinars la journée cette partie est toujours quasiment vide avec des transats de meilleure qualité alors que la partie consacrée aux résidents est bondée Comparé aux hôtels de la même catégorie c'est un point faible flagrant (au Royal azur les transats sont de qualité et couverts de matelas en cuir plus de fauteuils simples ou doubles en cuir) Autre point négatif le parking où il est quasiment impossible de trouver une place de libre l'employé m'a suggéré 2 fois de garer ma voiture dehors alors que l'option parking sur place est intégrée à la réservation (sans parking je m'abstiens de réserver) Dernière chose l'animation trop proche des chambres et quasi continue toute la journée donc impossible de faire une petite sieste (pour ceux qui cherchent du calme et du repos c'est raté)

It was definitely not up to the 5-star standard we are used to elsewhere. The room had a strong musty smell throughout our entire stay. The towels were just carelessly tossed in the bathroom, making us question at first glance whether they were even clean. I would expect the scent of cleanliness, at least after the daily housekeeping. While the beds were made, the floor looked unswept. On top of that, our top sheets were taken away twice during cleaning, forcing us to repeatedly ask for them at reception—after that, we declined housekeeping altogether. Twice during our stay, there was a foul smell outside as well, suggesting an issue with the sewage system. The hotel garden is beautiful with plenty of palm trees, and the pools were nice. However, the highly praised beach was a huge disappointment—it was narrow and littered with washed-up seaweed that was never cleared away. The swimming area was confined by nets and buoys, and jet skis were constantly revving nearby while staff blew whistles over our heads to promote the parasailing attraction, so there was absolutely no peace and quiet. Furthermore, the water seemed to contain chopped-up pieces of jellyfish caused by the jet skis, which caused an unpleasant stinging sensation; once, I got a severe sting on my neck. The food was fine. The travel agency’s description claimed the hotel was "suitable for demanding clientele," but in our opinion, not a chance. They also frequently approach guests with tablets in hand, begging for excellent reviews.

Magnifique hôtel qui mérite largement ses 5 étoiles ! Le service est irréprochable et le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et attentionné. Les équipements sont complets et de grande qualité. Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner dans une superbe chambre avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. La piscine est très agréable et l’accès direct à la plage privée est un véritable atout. Des animations sont proposées chaque jour, aussi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus plaisant. L’hôtel est idéalement situé : au calme, en bord de mer, tout en restant à seulement 20 minutes à pied de la médina (ou quelques minutes en taxi). Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons cet hôtel les yeux fermés !

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The service was fast, efficient, and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the rooms were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful, safe, and relaxing. I also appreciated the high level of organization and attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel.

Il fatto che non ci sia un controllo in spiaggia verso le persone che la sera prima occupano i lettini con gli asciugamani, oppure ho visto gente occupare i lettini alle ore 7 e venire in spiaggia alle ore 12 , non credo sia giusto, i lettini sono un servizio di tutti e i posti non vengono acquistati i ,inoltre sempre a causa della maleducazione di diversi ospiti ho trovato la spiaggia un po' sporca di sigarette nonostante i vostri fantastici posacenere. Per il resto servizio eccellente

Le seul petit bémol concerne le restaurant à la carte. Le concept des menus à thème est une bonne idée, mais nous avons trouvé que la qualité des plats était un peu en dessous de nos attentes, surtout en comparaison avec l'excellent buffet, très varié et délicieux. Le fait de devoir réserver à l'avance, avec peu de disponibilités, crée aussi une attente plus élevée, ce qui rend la déception un peu plus marquée.

My family and I arrived here on Tuesday, and we still have a few more days left until Sunday, I’ll likely share a full update review once we depart, but I wanted to post this early to properly recognise the fantastic service we’ve received so far. Every single member of staff across most of the hotel is so welcoming, warm and heartfelt in how they greet you. They’re attentive, always smiling, and their friendly, bubbly manner really does brighten your day, even if you’re feeling a bit low. Reception in particular have been great, and always quick to help resolve any small queries we’ve had. The only exception we’ve noticed is the pool bar staff, they seemed less attentive, and quite selective in who they approach and serve. I expect it’s just a minor glitch or that they get extremely busy and stretched, so it doesn’t take away from how fantastic the staff team are overall. This is a lovely, family-friendly hotel with great pools, and the beach is right here in the resort, only around 25 metres from the pool! I have a couple of minor personal points I’ve shared directly with the manager rather than posting publicly, but overall this is a brilliant place to stay and we’re all really enjoying it. Most of all though, the spa team deserve a special mention. We booked three days of treatments, and they have been the absolute highlight of our trip so far. A huge thank you to Sameh who has beautiful smiley approach, gave us all the option for treatment without any hard sale at all, Reem, ellis, and and couple of others who at the spa reception and all the therapists who provided the service who I haven’t yet got the names of! They are endlessly cheerful, welcoming and always looking to make your experience perfect. Thank you all, While these are paid services, they are absolutely worth every penny, I feel so much better after my sessions. It’s lovely to be able to acknowledge the effort everyone puts in to make guests feel looked after. I’d highly recommend booking a spa treatment here if you visit, you won’t regret it!

This resort was amazing , I think this resort probably gave me the most amazing customer service I ever received , The reception team was amazing , food was delicious. Special shoutout to the bar service team such as Eya and Jaballa for making me feel welcome and giving me drinks whenever I need, Special shoutout to the animation team like Leo, Simo and Pika and all the others can’t remember the names. Also like to give extra mention to Firasse for upgrading our room and especially Rihab for giving excellent customer service.

Poor wifi infrastructure, signal did not reach everywhere, especially in the room. Bathroom toilet not structured well as the bathroom could not close as your legs block the door.

Au restaurant: Les serveurs ont besoin d'améliorer leur niveau de service. Certains ne sont pas conscients de la qualité de service qu'ils doivent assurer pour les clients, surtout que l'hôtel n'était pas à pleine capacité durant notre séjour. Ils vont venir te chicaner même.

We stayed at this hotel for three days and were very positively surprised. I have stayed in several 5-star hotels in Tunisia before, so I have a good basis for comparison. This is definitely one of the better ones. The hotel is much larger than I expected. Even though it was almost fully booked during our stay, it never felt overcrowded because the resort is so spacious. The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained, and the beach, located just a short walk from the hotel, was clean and stunning. We booked a Deluxe Sea View room, which was spacious, modern, and offered an amazing view of the sea. At the same time, the hotel has a lovely traditional Arabic style, which gave it a unique atmosphere. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to make sure guests had a pleasant stay.

My only criticism is the main restaurant. Since the hotel was very busy, it became quite crowded and noisy during lunch and dinner. In the evening especially, we were hoping for a more relaxed dining experience. The staff worked very hard, but because they were constantly clearing tables and moving around, the atmosphere felt hectic at times. The food itself was good—the only downside was the noise and the overall dining atmosphere during peak hours.

Our stay at the Iberostar Selection Royal El Mansour was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday, and every member of staff played a part in making our experience so memorable. The hotel itself is spotless. Everywhere you look, from the reception and restaurants to the pool areas and rooms, is kept impeccably clean. The housekeeping team does an outstanding job, and it really shows. The beautiful grounds are also extremely well maintained, creating a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere throughout the resort. The staff are one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. Every single person we encountered was warm, welcoming, friendly, and always smiling. They genuinely care about making guests feel comfortable and happy, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. The food was excellent, with a fantastic variety every day. There was something for everyone, from freshly prepared local dishes to international cuisine, delicious desserts, and plenty of fresh fruit and salads. Everything was well presented, fresh, and full of flavour. We looked forward to every meal. The beach is simply stunning. The soft golden sand, crystal-clear sea, and peaceful surroundings make it the perfect place to relax. Whether you want to sunbathe, swim, or simply enjoy the beautiful views, it’s an incredible location. The pool and hotel facilities are equally impressive, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy your holiday. Everything is designed to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The spa facilities deserve a special mention. They are beautifully maintained, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. We felt completely refreshed after our visit. The receptionists, Rim and Heba, were absolutely wonderful. Despite the language barrier, they took their time to explain every treatment and made sure we fully understood everything. Their patience, kindness, and professionalism made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. A huge thank you also goes to Wafa in the spa salon. She gave me one of the best blow dries I’ve ever had. She was incredibly skilled, attentive, and took great pride in her work. I left feeling amazing, and my hair looked fantastic. At the hotel reception, Sabrina was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she helped my friend and me settle in quickly and made us feel so welcome. She was always happy to help whenever we had questions, and she went above and beyond by assisting us with information about leaving the hotel to visit the local markets, making sure we knew where to go and helping us feel confident exploring the area. Finally, a massive thank you to Samir from the entertainment team. He truly made our holiday extra special. He made sure we never had a dull moment and constantly encouraged everyone to join in with the activities without ever being pushy. Every evening was full of fun, laughter, and great entertainment thanks to his energy, enthusiasm, and dedication. He genuinely went above and beyond to ensure every guest had an unforgettable time. Overall, we had an incredible stay at the Iberostar Selection Royal El Mansour, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun-filled holiday with exceptional service. The combination of outstanding staff, delicious food, immaculate cleanliness, beautiful beach, excellent facilities, and wonderful entertainment made this one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. The experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The reception service was terrible—the staff were unfriendly, unhelpful, and seemed completely uninterested in assisting guests especially when they have a team of staff which are called ‘guest service’ who don’t help at all and instead direct you to manny other members of staff. It was difficult to get any clear information, and simple questions were met with poor communication and a lack of professionalism. The waiting time was unacceptable. Despite arriving on time, I was left waiting for an excessively long period without any explanation or updates. The delays made the entire experience frustrating and stressful, and it felt like there was no respect for guests’ time. That said, the animation team was absolutely amazing and truly made the stay much more enjoyable. They were energetic, friendly, and worked hard to create a fun atmosphere every day. A special thanks to Leo, who stood out for being welcoming, entertaining, and making everyone feel included. His enthusiasm and positive attitude were a real highlight of the trip. I would also like to give special recognition to Adian from the kitchen, who was always friendly, hardworking, and provided excellent service. His kindness and professionalism were greatly appreciated and made a positive difference during our stay and making special time to take our group of 8 around the buffet making it clear which foods are vegetarian and okay for us to eat, whilst also making special requests to the pasta chefs to clean pots, pans and cutlery when cooking our food. Overall, while the animation team—especially Leo—and Adian from the kitchen deserve recognition for their outstanding efforts, the poor reception service and excessive waiting times seriously affected the overall experience.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Iberostar Royal Mansour Mahdia. The reception team deserves special recognition. Check-in was smooth, and we received our room immediately upon arrival, which was greatly appreciated after the journey. Our family room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food, with good quality and something for everyone. The staff, both in the restaurant and at the bars, were always attentive, friendly, and happy to help. The swimming pool is very nice, and the entertainment team works hard to create a fun atmosphere throughout the day. We also loved the ice cream hut, which was a big hit with the kids. There is also a snack bar open until 5:00 p.m., which is very convenient for a quick bite between meals. The only downside is that the staff there were noticeably less welcoming than the rest of the hotel team. Overall, the resort offers a pleasant and relaxing holiday experience. There are, however, a few points that could be improved: - The gardens are heavily infested with ants, so it's best to place your sunbed away from the grass. - Coffee is only available from vending-style machines, which was disappointing for coffee lovers like me. A proper espresso machine would make a big difference. - The outdoor parking area is quite small. Since it was full, I was asked to park my car on the street opposite the hotel. - The evening entertainment shows are average. That said, this seems to be fairly common in many hotels in Tunisia. Despite these minor drawbacks, we had a great stay and would happily recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for good service, comfortable rooms, and excellent food.

Came here with my partner for a week and today we are leaving. Since arriving we have been looked after immensely by the staff and everyone at the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they always have a smile on their faces. From the waiters round the pool, to the bar staff in the evening who remembered your drink to the animation team who work tirelessly to ensure everyone has a great holiday, they really do work hard. I’m a coeliac and was a little nervous about eating after reading some of the reviews but I need not have worried. Every meal time I was offered for special gf pasta or pizza and if I did not want that then the head waiter Majid would take me round the buffet and show me exactly what I could eat. Not once did I go hungry. The icing on the cake quite literally is that I celebrated my birthday whilst here and the whole team went out of their way to make it special singing happy birthday to me, decorating a table for us in the restaurant and even providing what is possibly the best gf cake I have ever eaten ❤️ One minor critisicm of our trip, the reps trying to sell us tours by the pool were very persistent even after telling them no they still tried each day. Would I recommend this hotel as a coeliac? 100% yes.

We’ve just returned from an 11‑night stay at Royal El Mansour, and overall we had a fantastic holiday. We would absolutely return. The beach is beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds, and it looks as though the hotel is extending this area even further. That said, many guests still “reserve” beds early in the morning with towels — both on the beach and around the pool — so it’s worth being aware of this. As some days we were left scratching our heads waiting for people to leave to secure two sunbeds together! Nuba Beach is currently under reconstruction, and we were advised it should reopen towards the end of summer. So are unable to comment on this. There is a separate beach bar offering excellent service. Fares, in particular, was outstanding — incredibly kind, attentive, and always making sure our drinks were topped up throughout our stay. He truly went above and beyond. Niamh was also very friendly! The customer service across the hotel is exceptional. From the warm welcome at reception to every interaction throughout our stay, the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and a real credit to the hotel. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and cleaned/restocked daily. The minibar is replenished with water each day, though fizzy drinks are only provided on arrival. The Iberostar website notes that air conditioning is switched on from 15 June; before that date it was turned on for a few hours in the evenings due to the warmer weather, which we appreciated. However, even after the 15th, it didn’t seem to be fully operational. Particularly in the mornings when it could be quite hot getting ready. We did have a street facing room and did not experience any noise disruption at all. There are two additional bars — the lobby bar and the pool bar. Most guests spend their evenings in the lobby bar, which is a lovely space, though the outdoor seating area is limited and we often struggled to find a spot. The entertainment team clearly work tirelessly to keep guests engaged throughout the day and evening. Unlike some hotels that bring in external performers, the in‑house team run all the evening shows themselves. While the “wow factor” isn’t always there, their effort and enthusiasm are obvious. We even played bingo one night and won a camel ride plus free photos from the hotel photographer, which was a fun surprise. The food is plentiful, tasty, and varied enough that we never went hungry. There are reliable staples each day alongside some welcome changes throughout the week. It’s worth noting that there is a 50 TND deposit for towels, payable and returned in local currency only. There is a local currency exchange shop who were happy to swap TND for GBP at a very good rate. There is a cash point just outside the hotel - there is a small fee of around 14 TND to withdraw. The transfer from the airport took around three hours, so it’s something to keep in mind before setting off. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay and would happily return. A huge thank‑you to all the amazing staff who helped make our holiday so enjoyable.

Gorgeous, clean, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We spent many happy hours there. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more. Every little detail was taken care of, and the warmth of the team made us feel truly at home. We can’t wait to return and would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation. Empty fridge for a suite is an exclamation mark for a hotel iberostar, even if we have to pay when checking out the fridge needs to be full with beverages and snaks and specialy water . We have bin to hundreds hotels around the world we never had an empty fridge specialy when booking a suite

Un hôtel exceptionnel, les personnels sont très accueillants , serviables et aimables. J’ai beaucoup aimé la qualité de la bouffe au restaurant. L’emplacement est magnifique pas loin de la médina et au bord de la mer qui est aussi magnifique. Enfin il mérite bien les 5 étoiles.

Warm and welcoming from the second you arrive. The rooms are comfortable and well‑kept. Pools are big, clean, with plenty of space to relax. The best part by far was the staff. The bar team, waiters and waitresses were so friendly, attentive and always happy to help. Entertainment was so fun, well‑timed and never over‑the‑top. Lovely hospitality, great atmosphere — exactly the holiday spot you want.

O Hotel é enorme e tem imensas comodidades. Os quartos são bons, com bastante espaço. Adoramos o ginásio, a piscina e a variedade de comida. O staff é bastante amigável. O serviço no geral é ótimo.

A qualidade dos cocktails pode melhorar. O horário do ginásio poderia ser mais alargado. E o espaço da praia privativa podia aumentar o nível de colchões e espreguiçadeiras para acomodar mais pessoas visto que é um hotel muito procurado
