Prestige Aberdeen Lodge Kamloops

The location. The gym. The staff.

Nice hotel with large, clean and comfortable rooms. Most of the furnishings are new and two were rather worn including the tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They serve a continental breakfast that okay but nothing special. Avery reasonable room rate makes this a very acceptable hotel!

Met our needs, restaurant was great, we ordered too much.

I was given the wrong room twice. I booked a king suite with kitchenette. First, I was given a room, not a suite, with no kitchenette. I complained right away and they told me the suite I booked was being renovated and gave me again a room, but with kitchenette and a tiny fridge, but still charged me my initial price for a king suite. Two nights later, I complained again because I really needed a suite with a separate bedroom for my son. I had to explain myself a few times to different employees and I was not able to see the manager because the manager was busy with meetings. I went to front desk a few times. Finally, that afternoon, I received a call and was told we can move to suite I originally booked that night. I was never compensated for the two nights we spent in a room, instead of the suite.

Use of pool. Large suite. Lift.

位置很方便 有中餐厅很赞

桌子的脚是断的 可以维修一下

Beds were comfortable.

I booked a Deluxe Room with two queen beds one week before my trip. As soon as I made the reservation through Booking.com, I called the hotel to let them know that I would be traveling with my dog. When I arrived, I mentioned this to the front desk employee, and the first thing he asked me was, “Do you know who you spoke with?” I said I didn’t remember the person’s name. He replied, “Okay, no problem. They didn’t make a note of it here.” When we got to the room, there were crumbs on the floor and a used cup next to the bed. Luckily, I was able to stop my dog from eating whatever was on the floor. I reported it to the front desk and spoke with the manager, who apologized and told me that the pet fee would be removed from my bill. A couple of hours later, I went to take a shower and discovered that both the shampoo and body wash dispensers attached to the shower wall were completely empty. I had to get out of the shower and go back to the front desk to complain again. I was told that the manager was sleeping when they called her, so the front desk employee said he would bring the products to my room. The next morning, I saw the manager at the front desk. She asked for my contact information and said she would reach out to see how they could make things right after all the issues we had experienced. However, I never received an email or a phone call. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I stay here again, especially considering how many other options are available. The level of cleanliness, attention to detail, and customer service simply does not justify the price they charge.

Great location. Adequate breakfast, comfy beds, nice towels and friendly staff.

Nothing really

The location was good.

Room, bed sheets and towels were all subpar in terms of cleanliness.

It was an average room. Easy to get to.

The breakfast had a very limited selection.

Location, modern facilities in the room (faucet, shower, kitchen area).

A slightly old-fashioned hotel, with a carpet outside the rooms that seemed to have absorbed the entire history of all its visitors. It would be great to have better cleaning.

Good size room with comfortable bed. Room amenities good.

The restaurant

Clean

Elevator was broken 🥵

Bed and pillows were comfortable..location was great and continental breakfast was adequate.

Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work..bedside lamps didnt work..lift wasnt working so needing to lug suitcases up stairs ..door to room swung shut fast catching my foot in the door...corridor was loaded with bags of stuff from hotel and just messy.

Intime.

Location convenient to the highway. Reasonable price compared to otheres in the same location.

This location is showing its age.

Great location

Quiet location, room was nice. Pillows were amazing! Chinese restaurant on site.

Limited parking spaces. The hotel across has a very similar name. We went to the wrong one first!

clean - staff was nice --we have stayed here often for sports tounaments in the past and like the hotel in general

window shears were ripped ---room was warm, adjusted the air conditioner temp set point to 68f for the night but did not drop as the room was still warm ---not much of selection for breakfast (wished there was some eggs or something more than carbs)

Ruime comfortabele kamer. Goed eigen restaurant.

Ontbijt was eenvoudig en goed, maar met wegwerp bestek.

The facility had an elevator! Close to a few restaurants and liquor store.

Where do I begin. Rooms need maintenance. The bathroom sink leaked on the floor, the toilet seat was loose, curtains broken, ice machine broken, poor set up for breakfast with limited food options. Hot tub and fitness center across the parking lot in another building.

Not much for the breakfast compared to other places, but if you don’t mind toast, bagel, yogurt then it’s fine

Easy to get to, great restaurant

Bathroom sink didn’t drain properly

Breakfast was good. No problem.

The walls in the room looked like there was something smeared on them and then left to run down the wall paper? It was weird. It looked like it just needed a real good scrub? Some wallpaper pealing but overall not bad. Just needed a good overall cleaning. The rest of the room was fine.

The room is spacious. The front desk staff is courteous. A restaurant on location and the food is OK. Parking is convenient.

The room we first assigned, the fitted sheet in one of the bed was stained. We tried to call the front desk and there was no phone in the room. My husband had to go downstair to find support. Since there was no housekeeping staff at that time, we had to move to another room.

The breakfast was very poor. Only thing bad about staying here !

Breakfast

The beds were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. But oh my god. The curtains were ripped. The ceiling was stained. The door frames were all chipped and banged up. There was a large patched hole in the closet. The wall in there was filthy!! The desk chair looked like it was purchased at a flea market, all worn out. And what’s with the residential interior doors? I don’t think those are fire rated for a hotel. We paid $313.15 for one night for this run down room. Come on Prestige. You can do better than that!! Spend some of your money on the upkeep of your rooms. We stayed 2 night in 2 different rooms. One was as bad as the other. I tried to add the photos that I took but it won’t let me. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Definitely not worth the money!!

Clean easy parking and the attached restaurant was good good

The attached restaurant

The breakfast although limited selection, was fresh and the space was clean.

Needs an update, it was fine for a 1 night stay, but wouldn't recommend for multiple nights.

The lobby was very nice and staff very friendly.

Every time we book through booking.com we have a terrible view from the room. Either a wall or garbage cans or the air conditioning unit or something. Always bad.

Like the restaurant. Quiet area, friendly staff. That’s good.

Why didn’t you like about the property anyway?

Everything is good. Our second time around.

The air vent cleaning kept us up

The location was good

The bed was uncomfortable and the building smelled of Chinese food

We arrived almost midnight, and there was a person at the front desk.

Everything worked well!

Good variety. Love the muffins.

It's was an okay hotel nothing special to talk about it

The breakfast was really bad ,no options

Clean room and comfortable beds.

The breakfast was lacking in comparison to other hotels we stay at for less price. Also the pull out couch bed was very squeaky and thin

Great accommodation and pet friendly.

Location and pleasant staff

Good location, pleasant staff

Close to amenities

It was clean and comfortable

That I was locked in my bathroom for 25 mins because the door was broken from the inside and a wouldn't open.

Stayed here many times! Great location, great price. Rooms are comfy but breakfast and amenities are lacking but good value for the $$.

No hot tub after a day of skiing and the complimentary breakfast could be much better. I think more people would stay here if the breakfast was better.

Decent location.

Nothing:)

Decent parking.

The spa bath did not have jets working. Tub wasn’t cleaned as throughly as it should have been. The included breakfast was abysmal compared to other hotels up the road for a cheaper price.

I wasn't expecting too much from some of the reviews. Yes, the carpets and curtains are dated, but the room was clean, common areas were clean. Breakfast area.was small but adequate for what I wanted. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was fine. The problem was it was very busy and not enough room. The staff did what they could to provide the service. It turned out alright but you need more space when the hotel is booked up!

Location, the room, accommodating our dog. The friendly staff. Liked having the restaurant in the hotel. Made having dinner so much easier and the food was excellent

The room lighting was strange, different colors of light bulbs. The breakfast was really disappointing -- no boiled eggs when we were there at around 9 am

The hotel was great and so was the price for a great weekend away. The gentleman at the front counter was so friendly

The pool was in neighbouring hotel

Good breakfast

Affordable.

It is definitely aging probably needing some cosmetic love but for the price it works.

5 in a room

No pillows for hide a bed

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The check-in staff is exceptional. He provide many great suggestions for near restaurant and attractions. Also told us about the discounts that we entitled to for restaurants within property and hotel across the car park.

The friendly staff

Friendly staff, spacious rooms, free parking

Free parking, spacious rooms, good location.

Broken door key, shampoo was finished, it was brought when we asked for.

This hotel was great. We slept very well and the gentleman at reception was very helpful and friendly. The location was great, there was a restaurant on site and we were able to relax and unwind for a night.

Great value for price of room compared to others. Convenient parking, pool is across the lot in other Prestige property and good location.

room was clean and comfortable.

Excellent location

Large room, very clean and comfortable.

The elevator did not work,,no sugar or cream in the room

Room is spacious and clean. Easy access to supermarket. Small hotel with acceptable breakfast.

We liked the size and layout of the room. The sofa was comfortable the lighting was good for reading. We will stay there again.

Comfortable beds. Nice clean bedding.

Will definitely stay here going forward!

Staff were very polite and professional

carpets a bit worn

Very clean. Staff are exceptionally friendly.

tv didn't work, toilet seat was loose, telephone didn't work, and only 1 face cloth for 3 people.

Very good value here. The room was nicely decorated , Spacious and very clean. desk staff were very pleasant and accommodating we will definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff

Everything near breakfast not much but egg.bagel.. fruits enough..
