I did enjoy the water slide

The life guard on duty but they had headphones on and were on there phone… they had no clean towels in the pool area. The stairs had a dirty towel that had been sitting over night. I was also charged the full night stay upfront and was not informed. And was charged a $300 deposit…

Was hoping for an accessible room, not many are available. Changes could be made to regular rooms to make them safer for all. Included breakfast needs works. Just toast, bagels, coffee, yogurt, and cereal were not enough. It was surprising to see the CO detectors on the ceiling, should have been the floor.

Very clean , the most comfortable bed and pillows we’ve ever had in a hotel!!

We stayed here last year and wanted to come back. For some reason this year was not as good. The first problem was that the AC was so loud and didn’t even work that well. It was an accessible room so even though we appreciated the tall toilet and large bathroom, the shower attachment was in need of adjustment. Needs to be replaced. The king bed was great. Comfortable and the pillows were excellent. Loved the breakfast with so many choices. Water in the lobby was an extra bonus. Not sure we will be back. We may try another hotel in Kamloops.

The restaurant on site was nice. The staff were very friendly.

Prestige Kamloops Hotel is a newly renovated hotel in Kamloops. The location is close to the highway amongst many other hotels. It works as a stop along the highway. Check-in went poorly, the clerk was brusque but then overcompensated by trying to be funny. Fortunately, the manager noticed our reaction and we were upgraded. However, we were not impressed with the bathroom in our upgraded room - it was very small. The good news is the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room was quiet, but perhaps we were away from the highway. We made our booking through my BestWestern membership (this hotel is "affiliated" to BestWestern). That is a marriage of convenience as it lacks the pleasant atmosphere (where are the water bottles and cookies??) and the points of a BestWestern. And the big one - no breakfast! A voucher doesn't cut it for us and we ate elsewhere. We stayed at a Marriot earlier in the week and the comparison is not even close and it was for a similar cost. Checkout took an age - seemed to be a complex process needing much staring at the screen. Summary - over priced and under provided.

Booked 3 months ago. Called to confirm reservation. And still gave the room to another person. Gave us a lesser room with a 20 dollar discount. Wow

Enjoyed our stay, staff was very helpful, overall facility is about 8.5. The food & the staff in the Chinese restaurant were both excellent. would stay again.

Prestige Kamloops Hotel is a newer motel in Kamloops. It sits across the carpark from another Prestige property, the Prestige Aberdeen Lodge Hotel, which seems about the same age, but has lower-priced rooms and complementary breakfast for motel guests. Check-in went smoothly. Our room with 2 Queen beds was smaller than the average hotel room and came with a fridge and microwave. Soundproofing was average. We were informed that our room didn’t come with free breakfast (they did offer us a 25% off voucher for breakfast at the Isagani restaurant just beside the motel lobby) and there were no laundry facilities on site, although a laundry room with a single washer and dryer was available at the Prestige Aberdeen Lodge Hotel opposite us, a short half minute walk away. I booked this Prestige motel stay through my search on Bestwestern hotel website. In contrast to other Bestwestern motels I have stayed at, Prestige Kamloops Hotel seems to lack the regular amenities such as free breakfast and on-site laundry facilities. And I must mention that in comparison to other motels I have stayed at, which offer free tea/coffee round the clock, Prestige Kamloops Hotel only offers complementary coffee from 5am to 7am and 11am to 5pm. This is weird timing for guests who have a long drive after checking out in the mornings (unless they check out before 7am). I strongly believe there is room for improvement at Prestige Kamloops Hotel.

Was the cleanest room that I've stayed in. Been in a lot lately.

Not user friendly. The coffee and cup tray were inside a cupboard on-top of a half-size mini fridge. Well I just left it there as I cannot bend and lift anything. No glasses in the bathroom. Beds were very soft which is not great for anyone who has back issues.

The hotel was a great location and had a comfortable atmosphere. Perfect for somewhere to stay while away from home.

Had to lift the door a bit for the lock to engage but told the front desk when I left and they were thankful and apologetic.

It was comfortable easy to walk to the mall or shops. We had a room NOT backing on to the highway . So much more enjoyable.

Full of teams, who run the halls and forget there are non team humans there. It is very loud from the hall noise.

Restaurant was good. Nothing complimentary maybe I’m used to free breakfast from other hotels I stay at. Bad sign when ear plugs are provided for you. Staff were very pleasant.

The highway sound , they give you foam ear plugs as they know it’s loud. The room has carpet, we have stayed here before and the room had LVP, felt cleaner .

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and the 22 lbs of frozen fish we were transporting. The manager was able to find freezer space to hold all of it while we were there.

Staying only one night to rest from a long driving, but we can hear all kind of noise, sound, voice from the room next to ours and/or from outside of the building. Hence not so easy to rest or even for talking (no privacy)

Restaurant was great and the 25% off breakfast was nice, room was clean and comfortable.

Despite advertising “ pet friendly” we received an email form Booking.com stating that there was no guarantee we would get a pet friendly room. Unfortunately this was revealed AFTER we had booked and I called the hotel only to be told that there were no pet rooms left. Understandable that they have only so many rooms allocated, that information should be conveyed BRFORE you are required to pit a Cc down for payment. I am currently seeking a refund from the property as we had to seek alternative accommodations.

Nice pool for kids and a really nice clean hotel that’s easy to find off the highway. Lots of options for food within walking distance.

Property was nice and well kept. Rooms facing the highway were extremely loud and disruptive to sleep. Would stay in the inside rooms if we returned. Overall good experience.

Leider befand es sich direkt am Restaurant, sodass der Geruch in unser Zimmer zog. Des Weiteren war unser Fenster direkt ebenerdig zur Terrasse für alle Hotelgäste vorgesehen. Wir konnten das Fenster nicht öffnen, da dort direkt ein Tisch mit Stühlen stand. Auf Nachfrage hätten wir die letzte der drei Nächte das Zimmer wechseln können. Es gab große Gruppenreisen, welche je nur eine Nacht blieben.

Rude staff. Had issues at checkin, waterslide is only available 4-8pm. Staff in pool area argued about my son being tall enough....we had to prove it. Then....after my son went down only twice the staff member said my son "looked uncomfortable" so for safety he could no longer use the slide. NEVER AGAIN AT A PRESTIGE PROPERTY!!!

We only stayed here one night to break up our long car journey. This place exceed my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious for a family of four and super comfortable. The kids loved the pool and when we had an issue with our microwave it was sorted super quickly so as not to disrupt our evening. The kids loved the pool and slide. We also took advantage of the mall across the road for some retail therapy.

Nice place to stay while in Kamloops. Staff are friendly and efficient and the restaurant is decent and not terribly expensive.

Always love staying here when we drive through between the coast and the prairies

The property is nice, the room was perfectly fine, but holy cow the noise from the highway was crazy. I read reviews before booking so when I booked I requested a room that wasn't on the highway side, but of course I was given a room on the highway side, never again, I was woken at least a half dozen times from engine brakes and I can usually sleep through excessive noise no problems. They actually give you ear plugs in the room which is kinda hilarious and concerning at the same time.

Super modern and clean hotel. Shopping is located near by. Hotel as a super clean pool and fitness area (I did not use it but saw it) and the restaurant has good and reasonable price food.

Honestly, I’ve never stayed in a hotel with so little sound proofing between rooms. We could literally hear the conversations from the next room word for word.

Great location; great staff; clean comfortable room

Welcoming staff, felt like new hotel. I stayed 3 nights here and slept well. There was no road noise and my room was not spacious but it was a great base for me as I was on the go all day. The bathroom is spacious, and I noted the quiet self closing toilet - I wonder why all hotels don't make sure they have them. The shower was clean and comfortable with the curved shower rod all hotels should have. I enjoyed the lobby for coffee in the mornings, and filled my water bottle there regularly at the front desk where there was water, tea and coffee. I had one minor request for my room and it was quickly dealt with. Room was kept immaculate and I appreciated the flowers out front as well. The restaurant beckoned with nice smelling food but I didn't try it but based on the hum of the diners it must be good food.

Probably one of the better hotels we have stayed at in Kamloops. Only wish there was a continental breakfast.

My wife took me to Kamloops to celebrate my birthday with friends. We asked to check in an hour early as we had a bunch of plans arranged. Upon check in, went to our room and AC was on full and room was 17 degrees. I attempted to shut it off at the thermostat and wouldn’t shut off in the ‘off’ position. I switched to heat and no change. I informed the front desk and they sent a housekeeper. Another gentleman arrived and removed the batteries from the thermostat and blew t

Room 110: The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchenette. This room was across the hall from the ice machine and cleaner's room so we could hear the ice dropping and people at the ice machine plus the cleaning staff talking. The room temperature wasn't working properly. We were either too cold or too hot. The bed was too close to the heating/ cooling system so my partner kept bumping his leg on the bed frame. When we arrived we found nail clippings on the floor.The barn door to the bathroom was flopping around and annoying. The pool was to be open at 7am but didn’t open till 7:30am. The pool was a nice temperature but its only 4 feet deep. The hot tub was disappointing as it wasn't very hot and the jets were weak. Also, my husband had to ask a gentleman to please not smoke in a non-smoking area by the main door entrance.The man was there smoking the next day. The staff could see him from the front desk.

The trip was going great, up until someone took my shoes from the pool and the staff were not helpful at all. There was clear cctv but no follow up was done to even help retrieve my items.

Great space, great location! Biggest issue was the bed had hard edges and we caught our shins on them! The kitchenette was full, too bad there was no freezer, but great staff!

Well located , quiet, clean !

We stayed here for our overnight stop on the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Banff. We had read bad reviews of hotels in Kamloops but this was better than we expected. It was clean, the room was large & comfortable, the shower was good & hot. As it we were late arriving we didn’t venture out in the evening & had a 6am pickup but we cannot complain at all.

Very disappointed, for the price you pay, the ammentities are a complete let down. All signage in pool area warn heavily there will be no lifeguard along with all the rules. The signage for the waterside states to ask the front desk for it to be turned on, as we were also told upon check-in. We were then told after check-in when requesting the slide be turned on that they will only operate it from 4-8pm. Super disappointed, it is so unnecessary, and the sole reason we booked our team here. Will never stay again and strongly advise booking elsewhere. The rooms are basic and not worthy of the nightly rate whatsoever.

Ground floor room next to highway. Very noisy

Water slide was not open when it clearly said pool open until 10pm. I wish their site said that the water slide had different hours. Water slide was only open until 8pm, we got in there before 8pm and it was already closed. The person at the front desk was very rude about it and was annoyed that I asked why it was only open until 8pm. I would rather stay at a different hotel with better service for the price that we paid to stay here for ONE night with my family. Also the hot tub didn’t work, the water was warm almost cold! The beds were comfy but too soft because myself and daughter kept rolling to the middle of the bed which was annoying all night. I will never stay at this hotel again!

The room was nice, restaurant was good, we had dinner there 1 evening. Beds were comfortable. Hallways were roomy and welcoming. the suite is our preferred, due to high allergies, it is hard to eat out.

The room was warm or cold, hard to get it comfy. We were right above the pool /slides, it was loud. I had no idea there would be teams of kids, I wish they would be seperated from regular, no kid rooms. The kids decided on saturday around 7pm to start playing knock, knock on room doors, They would run up the stairs and start knocking on the 2 rooms closest to the stairs. After 3 incidents/knocks we decided to scare them. They did not come back. TOO bad their parents weren't watching them.
