Es gab zu wenig Tische/Stuhle beim BBQ, um ihn sinnvoll nutzen zu können und die Klimaanlage war sehr laut.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Glacier Mountain Lodge is well located in Blue River. Honestly, there are not many other choices, but this property should work well for almost anyone. The staff is great and the rooms are clean and well appointed. We appreciated the smart TV and the continental breakfast was good.
The air conditioning switched on and off throughout the night, but I'm pretty sure that was user error! Our friends were able to make their unit run on a low and continuous setting.

The hotel is conveniently located near the highway--easy to find! The desk staff were welcoming, and friendly when asked about additional matters. And, we appreciated the expedited phone call that permitted us to return and fetch an item that we had accidently left in the room after check-out.

La colazione è in linea con questi hotel, tutto confezionato e le macchine dispenser. Comunque andava bene. Un bel parcheggio gratuito fronte hotel. Molto comodo per fare il Blue River Safari e vedere gli orsi.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Die Zimmergröße war super, auch vier Personen und Gepäck waren gut unterzubringen. Das Personal, vor allem der Herr am Checkin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Hatte noch ein paar gute Tips für eine kleine Wanderung bzw den See in der Nähe zum Schwimmen.
Das Frühstück war Mittel. Leider ganz viel einzeln Verpacktes.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Die Lage in Blue River auf dem Weg zum Jasper National Park ist perfekt und für ein 2-Sterne Hotel ist es sehr gepflegt und sauber (besser als das ein oder andere 3-4 Sterne Hotel). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden hier definitiv wieder buchen. Die Nähe zu River Safari (Flusstouren) ist ebenfalls ein großer Vorteil.

So appreciative of him and his staff. Breakfast was as expected. We prefer quick breakfasts that serve healthy muffins, juices etc. beds were very comfortable. Showers had excellent pressure. Definitely recommend this place again!! Can’t say enough about the staff. Kudos ++++

The breakfast items were frozen and we were a little unclear on how best to prepare them. The center of the croissant was still frozen after putting it through their toaster oven. Another patron was trying to put it in the toaster... Maybe clearer instructions on how to handle the frozen pastries.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Spacious room with queen bed and sofa. The man on reception was ultra helpful and pleasant. Easy to park. We were able to buy food at the Grizzly Paw next door and the hotel provided cutlery etc for us to eat at the hotel. Good location for the nearby River Safari which I wholeheartedly recommend the 2 hour trip.
No kettle in room (although all drinks available 24/7 downstairs), no lift (difficult with heavy cases) and lumpy pillows. There’s not much at Blue River itself and no restaurants open as it was early in the season but the hotel were happy to accommodate takeaway food in their breakfast room. However it was all good for an overnight stay and I would stay again in the future.

An excellent continental breakfast was provided in a breakfast room that had tea and coffee supplies available during the day. We enjoyed the comfortable seating area at the front of the hotel.
Hot water for shower was inconsistent.
