The breakfast was cooked to perfection, if you did not want a cooked breakfast there was plenty of alternatives. Staff were all friendly, they helped with any queries or requests quickly and efficiently. Our room was immaculate. Both me and my son really enjoyed our stay, with lots of attractions and history to see. Thankyou for making our stay amazing in every way!!

Wir waren als Familie mit vier Personen und Hund für drei Nächte im Rahmen einer Südengland‑Rundreise im George B&B. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich, und man merkt, dass er sich Mühe gibt, auch wenn das Haus insgesamt schon älter ist. Lage & Parken: Parken ist direkt vor dem Haus möglich, die Zufahrt ist jedoch eng und hat eine hohe Kante. Zur Strandpromenade mit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants läuft man etwa 10 Minuten. Das B&B wirkt eher wie ein kleines Hotel mit rund 10–12 Zimmern. Zimmer & Bad: Wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad, das wir glücklicherweise allein nutzen konnten. Das Bad ist groß mit Dusche, Wanne und WC, aber ebenfalls alt. Die Handtücher waren teilweise ausgefranst. Im Bad und Flur gab es einen unangenehmen, modrigen Geruch, was uns den Aufenthalt beeinträchtigt hat. Die Zimmer selbst sind landestypisch klein, sehr einfach eingerichtet und mit billigen bzw. stark abgenutzten Möbeln ausgestattet. Wenn etwas neuer war, dann eher Discount‑Qualität. Ich persönlich empfand auch die Bettwäsche, obwohl neuwertig, als unangenehm - Synthetik? Frühstück: Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr einfach, die Gläser teilweise stumpf. Die Auswahl ist schlicht, aber auf Wunsch gibt es ein frisch zubereitetes Full English Breakfast, das gut war. Preis‑Leistung: Auch wenn vieles nicht besonders ansprechend war und wir das B&B nicht erneut buchen würden, muss man fair sagen: Für rund 100 € pro Doppelzimmer inkl. Frühstück ist das Angebot preislich in Ordnung. Wer mit Schlichtheit und deutlichem Alter zurechtkommt, macht hier nichts falsch. Für uns persönlich war es jedoch zu einfach. Fazit: Freundlicher Gastgeber, gute Lage, aber sehr einfaches, abgewohntes Haus mit deutlichen Schwächen. Für eine günstige Übernachtung okay – für uns aber kein Wiederholungsort. Objektiv wären vielleicht 8 von 10 angemessen, aber hier geht es ja um eine persönliche Wertung und gemessen daran sind es für mich max. 7.

The vibe of the house was really nice. The bedroom waq clean and comfy. Even the shared bathroom was convenient and super clean. The breakfast was delicious. And rhe house is really near the seafront, the trainstation.

Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem fußläufig zum Strand & Hafen. Der Parkplatz ist ein großes Plus und die süßen Teilchen zum Frühstück waren sehr lecker.

Die Treppen in die 3. & 4. Etage sind doch sehr steil und aufgrund des fehlenden Aufzugs für ältere Personen und große Koffer eher nicht geeignet.

Camera davvero deliziosa ed accogliente. La struttura é quella delle case tipiche inglesi quindi si estende in altezza e bisogna essere pronti ad affrontare le scale ripide ma il fascino é anche quello. Accoglienza davvero calorosa e gentile. Il punto forte é la colazione servita ogni mattino. La posizione molto comoda come anche il parcheggio interno.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. The location is very good if you don't mind walking. It’s about a 25-minute walk to the high street and the beach. Breakfast was really nice, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a shared bathroom, but it was very clean, and we didn’t have any problems with that.

There were battery-operated candles in the room, but unfortunately, the batteries were dead. It would also be nice to have a toilet brush in the bathroom, so guests can clean up after themselves. :)

Altes englisches Haus mit Charme, kostenloser Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Netter Empfang, gutes englisches Frühstück, auch Müsli und Obst. Kleines Doppelzimmer mit Bad vom Platz her für 1 Nacht ausreichend.

In der Nacht konnte man das Fenster wegen des Straßenlärms nicht auf lassen, der war dann ca. 0:30 weg, ging aber 6:30 Uhr wieder los. Auch mit geschlossenem Fenster war es noch laut. Die Matratze im kleinen DZ mit Bad, Zi 5 war hügelig, auf der linken Seite schlief man wie auf einem Berg.

Die Betten waren zu weich und etwas durchgelegen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße, das war auch nachts mit Verkehrslärm verbunden.

Habitación adecuada. Baño correcto. Buen desayuno. Plaza de aparcamiento en el recinto.

Acceso al reciento un poco estrecho para el coche. Muchas escaleras para acceder a la habitación.

Cooked breakfast was ok and staff attended needs and they were very helpful. Good variety of cereals and juice.

Breakfast pastries undercooked. Room very dated and needed some TLC. Scruffy old towels and a very dusty fan. Toilet seat poorly fitted. There are more little things but I will leave it at that.

Poor shower function. Low pressure and lukewarm each day. Kettle leaked. Used cups not replaced each day. Television only had approx 8 working channels. Decor of room and throughout was tired and damaged. Cobwebs around windows and on ceiling. Wallpaper ripped, marked. Paintwork shabby. Stair rails wobble. Fridge in communal area not clean.

Brilliant stay. They thought of absolutely everything! Staff were brilliant and so child friendly. Didn’t bat an eye lid to two kids being children in the breakfast room. My son had a meltdown (he’s autistic) and there was no judgement at all.

Colazione davvero buonissima, servita in una zona giorno spaziosa. Lo staff molto cortese e disponibile. Ampio parcheggio davanti alla struttura. Letti comodi. La posizione è a una mezz'ora a piedi dal centro, in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Weymouth è a un'ora d'auto dai siti più interessanti della Jurassic Coast e a 30 minuti dalla zona più centrale di Chesil Beach.

Perfect position to walk to the beach and the center. The free parking. The supermarkets nearby. Everyone was friendly.

The shower head could be changed (it is fixed so you cannot really clean well in the shower), the mattress was very soft, too soft for our taste

The room was beautiful, money styled, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and very accommodating to any variation of a full English. All the staff we spoke to were lovely. Great location.

This is our second stay here and it was just as great as the first! Mike and his Team are very welcoming. The accomodation is spacious and clean and it is a great location within an easy walking distance to the beach. It has parking and is dog friendly. We will definitely visit again 😊

Kleine Zimmer, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es werden kostenfreie Parkplätze angeboten. Beim Frühstück gibt es die Option ein Full English Breakfast zu wählen, hier bedient das Personal nach individuellen Wünschen- absolut klasse!

Es gibt keinen Aufzug und die Zimmer unter dem Dach waren in der Sommerzeit sehr warm, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Location of property was quite good, where it was central to local attractions. There was onsite parking at the property with an ‘okay’ breakfast.

We were given rooms No 4 and 6 - They both are NOT en-suites, so both rooms had to use the one common bathroom located on the floor, essentially it was a public bathroom and not private. This was a major let down. The bathroom was not clean at all ! To be honest we were just too tired and was too late to look for another place at that point.

Very welcoming and with good parking available. Spotless and tastefully decorated. The owner and staff were really pleasant and accommodating.

We were on the top floor and the stairs were quite steep.

Some of the soft furnishings, while clean, were a little 'tired'. Synthetic bedding was too warm for the time of year - admittedly during a heatwave! But it could be 'refreshed'.

A conveniently located B&B, a short walk from the center of Weymouth and the beach. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious, nicely decorated room. The hosts were lovely and helpful. Tasty breakfast as well.

Spotlessly clean and the hospitality tray was well stocked. Although small (we asked for a small room!) the room has a really useful wardrobe, and the fan was a lifesaver in the heatwave. Breakfasy was superb.

It was a short walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

Our room smelt of a damp dog. I found out later that it was a pet friendly hotel. Maybe a couple of rooms could be pet free. Everything in the room was clean but when checking out to leave we found some rubbish under the bed and a dog toy. These are just minor things because the overall stay was very good.

This b&b is absolutely fantastic its a little out of the town centre about 15min walk from train station but me and my 2 friends found it a perfect location, the b&b is exceptionally clean beds are so comfortable owners and staff are so friendly nothing is too much trouble, breakfast is exceptional and there is everything there you could ask for, there is a pub just down the road which we used,there us not one thing we could complain or be negative about and definately give it a 10/10,we will def be booking again for next year without a doubt xx

The George was spotlessly clean, staff very helpful and an amazing 1st class breakfast. Parking on site too. It was extremely hot weather and there was a tower fan which was appreciated.

We booked late and the only room available was up 4 flights of stairs but the room was lovely. I have a disability so did find it a bit of a struggle. Mike did explain this before we went so I was expecting the stairs.

Room was too hot and stairs were steep to top floor.

This was a last minute stop to see the bennets water garden on the way home from a road trip. We arrived late but the hosts were very happy to wait and help out. The room was up some steep narrow stairs which was tricky for my mum but they were more than happy to help and the room was small but comfortable. Sweet little ensuite which was clean and tea and coffee table was much welcome. The breakfast was lovely cooked to order snd the atmosphere was all in all so friendly and relaxed.

The only things bits that couldn't be helped because of the way the building is. Like steep stairs and sloped ceiling on top floor but overall it's good. It's no 5 star fancy hotel but for a bnb it's lovely. Comfortable clean and friendly with free parking and easy to find.

We loved everything about this property, the friendly staff and lovely welcome. This is my 3rd stay here this year, and we will continue to stay wherever we visit. I visit my son and his family 4-5 times a year, this is the first place in 10 years that I have returned to. Would highly recommend.

The staff were very polite and answered my questions promptly before the visit. Breakfast was served promptly and they were fine about my request for a vegan breakfast.

The shower drain wasn't working properly so I was standing in 2 inches of water.

The hosts were extremely kind and accomodating, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We slept super comforatble every knight. The house is beautiful, it's a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk from the rail station. Super close to a supermarket and multiple restaurants. Very reasonably priced.

The shower was a bit hard to handle, but that might even be on us. :)

Friendly welcome as always, comfortable night as always and great breakfast choices as always. Staff were smiley, helpful and knowledgeable re the local area and food intolerance, which I really appreciated. Location is an easy short walk to the beach, but far enough away from centre to be quiet.

Our room had a separate bathroom down a short flight of stairs, but that was the only room available as it was a busy weekend. It turned out to be fine though and we didn't have any problems.
