Best Western Weymouth Hotel Rembrandt

All the staff were lovely. The breakfast was really good. Choice of food and availability during the day and evening was really good.

The hotel was further away from the centre than we expected. Our room no 294 needs a lot of work in the bathroom it really was not good. Also disappointed that the bedroom window faced a white wall.

The young waitress who was on duty on Monday was absolutely amazing. Although she was working alone her manner, service was some of the best we have received. Nothing was to much trouble. Whatever she is being paid its not enough.

No toiletries provided apart from soap. Standard room is snug. No minibar or coffee machine, however a kettle is provided.

A surprise that our room was upgraded to an executive room FOC. This was amazing!

Breakfast, my sausages was not cooked and I sent it back to kitchen it put me off my breakfast so I just had tea and toast.when I asked reception to take my breakfast off the bill and chatted me for tea and toast I was questioned by the duty manager who clearly didn’t believe me and was made to feel very uncomfortable be his questions

Rooms were very hot with only one small fan, shower had very little power and couldn’t have a bath due to how slow the water come out.

Room wasnt that clean there was all bits on the floor carpet and the fan in the bathroom was awfull there was so much dust in the fan everytime it was on all dust bits falls on shelf and in the sink .i think its over priced for what you get also when booking it it said you get robes but you dont i tried calling reception no answer went down there nobody at the desk to discuss these problems

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The parking was excellent at the hotel. It was a short stroll.to the town and regular buses run from right outside. Swimming was a lovely temperature.

The room was nice and clean, however the wrong size duvet cover was used as there was more cover than duvet. The bathroom was a good size. Two ladies on reception were lovely and very friendly, one was Claire but not sure of the name of the other lady.

Being in room 202 above the kitchens it was a bit noisy throughout the night with some sort of fans/ motor running. The shower pressure was quite poor.

its accessible and near the seaside. Staff was brilliant and very helpful. Most especially to the receptionist she is very cheerful, and a great asset to the hotel.

i am pleased w the hotel its just probably the cleanliness of the rooms as i found the carpet not being clean as i saw the back of the table filled w coffee wrappers

Zimmer waren nach Reinigung nicht wirklich sauber auch auf dem Gang lag tagelang Plastikmüll, es gab keinen Löffel zum Kaffee auf dem Zimmer, das Zimmer wurde sehr warm, 3 von den 4 USB Outlets am Bett haben nicht funktioniert, einen Parkplatz zu bekommen war Glückssache

Lovely, friendly staff who made conversation at check in and out and were very helpful and accommodating. Short walk to the beach / train station, on a busy road but you couldn’t hear the traffic noise. Lovely room and comfortable beds.

The little fan in the room didn’t do very much. The rooms were very warm, but there was a heatwave and the staff did apologise for this and I knew in advance that there was no aircon, so it was ok.

Relatively close to the beach and amenities. Parking on site. Bar, restaurant and swimming pool available (swimming pool for extra charge). Very clean and staff were very friendly.

The hotel was comfortable, clean, and fairly central in Weymouth. The staff and service were very good and the food service was excellent.

A lovely hotel that was very clean. Our room was large and the en-suite was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sunday carvery was excellent.

The room had a large window, but only a very small opening section. This opening window was restrained by a safety wire, so could only be opened a few cm. The room was extremely hot overnight with little or no ventilation provided by the window. A small fan was provided, but this just moved hot air around.

I have stayed at the hotel previously and did not have to pay for the leisure facilities . The staff looked under pressure and not very enthusiastic . The rooms were also noisy

We loved almost everything about Hotel Rembrandt. The location, the pool and leisure facilities. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but what really made our stay exceptional was the staff. Every single member of staff we encountered were fantastic.

The shower wasn’t great. That’s it. That’s our only niggle.

It was close to the marina and the hotel was very clean.

Breakfast was so dryed out and there was a feww slices of bacon that looked grey so i asked him to remove it so nobody else ate it eithet. Bed was harld, pillow was so lumpy so could do with replacing and no fridge in room which would have helped in hot weather. The reviews i read were so good thats why i booked but wouldnt stay again.

Both the hotel and my room were spacious, modern, no frills, extremely clean. There was A/C - heater in the room but I switched it off and opened the windows. Hotel had all facilities, in this respect very well equipped even with a spa. It was only a flying visit to visit family and new baby who live in the town but the swimming pool looked nice. There was a large restaurant and bar area, again no frills designed for cleanliness and efficient maintenance and breakfast was provided at additional cost. The breakfast was adequate, a wide choice of food for all tastes to fuel a long journey home. The room stay was adequate for an overnight stay, or even longer holiday stay for those coming to the area for their holiday. I would say especially good for families with children. I was grateful to get a room at such short notice during peak holiday season and also with the facility to pay on arrival without a deposit, which is great at short notice when one isn't prepared.

The lightning in my room was fairly low light and since I have a visual issue it made it difficult to read. The bathroom was certainly clean and pristine in this respect with towels and toiletries supplied, but unfortunately it smelt somewhat like an animal pen at the zoo, not sure where the smell was coming from. The bed and pillows were FIRM, sort of comfortable but like sleeping on a bag of cement powder. I had quite an uncomfortable night, hardly slept and it resulted in a lower backache , I do not suffer with my back generally. There was only one type of teabag provided in the room tea area, (strong tea) so I had to enquire at the bar for an alternative, and was given a decaff type, but still strong tasting tea. I noticed at breakfast there was a selection of teas though, so they are available. The person serving at the bar this evening was not particularly hospitable either, as if it was an effort to be helpful, (when I asked for an alternative to the tea in my room), and when I enquired as to what the wine was like she said she didn't know, since wine gave her a headache. Quite strange for a bar staff not to know about the drinks? I did not have a meal in the restaurant area during my stay since arrived quite late afternoon, and ate out with my family earlier at the beach because they brought along their dog, The menu was general known English tourist dishes and limited vegetarian, although once a week it offers a Thai night which looked interesting, but was not available on this particular evening.

The food and drinks were delicious.

There was a layer of dust on the furniture in the hotel room. The carpet was dirty and had not been vacuumed, so it was also very dusty. There was no toilet brush, and when we requested one, our request was refused. We had also requested two cots in advance, but only one was provided. We therefore had to call reception and wait for the second cot to be brought to the room, meaning our babies had to wait to go to sleep after a long journey. The room attendant also took our door key card when he delivered the food and drinks we had ordered, so we had to go to reception and request a replacement. There was not even a small fridge in the room to keep our refreshments cool. There was also no air conditioning, which is something we would normally expect as standard in many hotels in Slavic part of Europe.

Implied that it had a pool and it was a good location and child friendly for my 1 year old.

The room was extremely hot, with inadequate ventilation. The windows couldn’t be opened enough (for security reasons apparently) and there was one fan which wasn’t very effective. We were given another small fan but it was inadequate too.

Area it is lovely we had a nice walk to the beach,it was beautiful.

The location was great, 10minute walk to the sea front. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean the bed was firm but comfortable. Tea, coffee, milk and nice biscuits were provided daily. The towels were a good size and we had super comfy arm chairs in our room. We used the leisure facilities was great to swim on a hot day. Food was reasonable and not badly priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
