Motel Bavaria

Check-In was easy and fast. Amy was supef nice. Good location. In our way to the room, we met Danie and she offered to help us if we need anything. We felt very welcome.

MOLD!!! Extremely filthy. Floors not washed. Dust on every surfaces. Outdated bathroom and awful smell coming out of the drains. Electrical not working and things like the stationary hair dryer falling off the wall. Questionable bedding cleanliness. No A/C. Windows are shut due to dirt and debris.

The motel is perfect for families and pets. There is only one time pet fee, which for us was $15. We loved the location as it was close to everything. Easy self check-in if you come late. We had a lovely stay.

The room needed a bit more cleaning, especially the floors. But overall it was ok. We stayed in a quadruple room.

Room was a good size, bathroom was good although it was hard to shower there as the tub was very deep and my wife couldn't get in very well. Bed was good but a little small for both of us but not a problem. I used the sofa bed but it needed some repairs. We were very comfortable there and felt very safe. Unlike other motels there, this one was very quiet and you couldn't hear traffic. We will stay there again.

It would be nice if they had air conditioning but I understand that is expensive so the fan in the room was fine. The room didn't get overly warm so that was ok. The sofa bed needed some work but I told the manager about it, hopefully they can get it repaired.

Decor, comfortable bed, great handy location. Spacious bbq facilities in garden. Lovely room. A charming and interesting hostess.

La propriétaire est super gentille. Il y a un self Check-in. Self Check-out. Je l’ai choisi parce que c’était centrale à toutes mes visites.

C’est un peu poussiéreux. La chambre n’a pas été faite de la semaine. Mais ça me fait pas que je en reviendrais pas ☺️ les matelas sont pas mal moi mais c’est vraiment une question de goût.

I was greeted with a warm welcome. The bed was comfy. The room was very clean. Although I didn't get the chance to utilize the Jacuzzi Tub, it was very nice to have the option. It was nice that they offered free ice for the guests...

A couple of glasses could be supplied in the room. Had cups, plates, bowls and wine glasses, but no drinking glass. Glad I had my own with me.

The staff were nice and proximity to the Main Street is very good.

It needs upgrading desperately. The original fridge was a nightmare, the shower was very nice, but the tub looked awful. The coffee pot was not clean, the window was held open by a chunk of wood. No handle or string on the “kitchen” blind, and the curtains for the room were too light to provide any darkness. The bed was ok, but the pillows were lumpy. There’s no hair dryer in the bathroom, and very few plug ins ( for charging our devices ).

No air conditioning at this property. Bed is very uncomfortable. Neither of us had a good sleep. Non-smoking rooms doesn't stop people from smoking outside allowing smoke to get to your room.

The room was clean and contained air conditioning with a small kitchen. The beds were comfortable.

The fridge door in the kitchen wouldn’t stay closed.

Radium is an excellent location. Bed was relatively comfortable and looked clean.

Floors were sticky. Bathroom was pretty dingy. It was a bit like the motels you see in the movies in the 80's. Great for nostalgia, not the more comfortable stay.

Our stay at Motel Bavaria was very good. The reception lady was very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

The shower/bath could have had handrails for added safety.

There was a boil water advisory in town and we were not told anything about it at the hotel, we seen it advertised at the travel information and the grocery store. That is something the guests should be told right away.

BBQ facilities and the transient community of workers that stay there make for great conversations and friends

Large tinted window in the back of our room had no curtain so in the evening and early morning we could not have the room dark.

Everything was very good: the place was clean and tidy, and the staff was welcoming. It had everything needed to relax a little and continue the journey.

The room was ok, but the one tap in the kitchen didn't work, the freezer was full of ice and needed to be defrosted and it was not clean in the corners.

Motel un peu plus loin dans radium hot springs donc endroit très calme. Malgré l’apparence un peu veillotte, la chambre était bien équipé (lit confortable, frigo, micro-ondes, bouilloire, grille pain, machine à café). La salle de bain était aussi bien équipé (serviettes en suffisance, sèche-cheveux, savons, shampooing). Le personnel était très sympathique aussi !

Peut-être pensé à mettre une éponge et du liquide vaisselles pour permettre de lavé ce qu’on utilise pour manger ☺️

Room was clean. Beds comfy. Well-equipped except for no stove, which we didn’t need anyway.

Noisy guests but they toned things down by 9 pm

Felty homey, people were friendly, easy access and dog friendly. They also had a covered BBQ kitchen out front, and a fire pit area with chairs and benches, and a horseshoe toss game.

You can hear guests who are pretty loud late or early am. But I didn’t care much.

When I was cleaning up my cat's toilet in the washroom. I noticed that the floor was dirty and lots of dusts.

The owners are super friendly. They do suggest me where I should go for the breakfast. The room is fully equipped and clean. The location is close to many restaurants as well.

Room - good size, bed - for us a little too firm, everything was clean, good to have some plates and utensils

fridge size - too small bbq area not to our standards - furniture (tables and chairs) look overused and worn out lack of hanging flowers from the balcony (in the past there were beautiful hanging baskets exactly like in Bavaria) upstairs stairs need a renovation

We stayed at Motel Bavaria in mid-September quite spontaneously and were received by a very nice and welcoming host. The location is perfect, and the room was very comfy and spacious. We especially liked the atmosphere with both guests and staff, it felt very homey.

They didn’t even open door. Waiting for my refund!

There is no hot water. We can't take a bath. When we informed the office, they told us to wait 30 minutes, but we have waited for an hour and there is still no hot water.

On our second day after taking a shower the washroom began stinking of sewage. We notified the 'maintenance' man on staff and he gave us two unacceptable responses. 'What do you think I should do?' 'It's an old building and this happens when everyone uses the showers and toilets at the same." Not a good look when the maintenance guy is asking for tips and if this is something that happens when the motel is full then that should either be fixed or clearly communicated to guests.
