Hotel Schweizerhof Basel

Es ist voll Zentral was super war.

War alles gut

Fantastic location, amenities, rooms, and staff.

The room was bigger than the photos, it was very clean with a super comfortable bed. The stuff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was super, especially for Europe standards. It starts pretty early so I was able to eat and go to the event every day. The waiters were very kind as well. In front of the hotel there is the tram, super easy to reach anywhere you want and almost zero noise.

Nothing that I didn't like. I would appreciate to have a small fridge in the room maybe, but all good.

The bathroom was excellent and clean . All that was required.

The mattresses were a bit hard.

everything

Am gasit un gandac in cameră.

This is our second time at this hotel. It is a lovely hotel next door to the main Basel railway station and tram stop. From this hotel it is easy to get a tram to anywhere in Basel, but it is also close enough to walk to the city centre and the river. The room was spacious and had a good bathroom. The breakfast was good.

same as the booking of 6250251866,I like this cozy hotel。

nothing.

Very helpful and high level of service. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious and the little details like earplugs as the Aircon may be noisy was very nice I did not need the ear plugs but nice touch. I opened the windows for fresh air and worked very well. Cold water and ice in corridor.

No fridge in room. Upon request, I guess for medical needs. I just had my coconut water kept in fridge at reception.

It was spacious and very central to train station.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Easy to find, clean, bright and welcoming. Helpful staff. Very comfortable nights sleep

Nothing

Heel mooie kamer, schoon, dichtbij centrum

Wat veel lawaai van trams

Fin beliggenhed, når man ankommer til banegården. Dejligt, stort værelse, gode senge! Venligt personale.

The pillow is too flat.

Posizione strategica per i mezzi pubblici, consigliato , ci siamo trovati benissimo

Nulla tutto perfetto

Wonderful stay! Exceptionally friendly staff, spotless cleanliness, and a perfect location. The hotel combines beautiful historic architecture with all modern comforts. An excellent choice for both business trips and holidays. Highly recommended!

Centrally located with great transport facilities

An unbeatable location – when you arrive in a strange city with heavy luggage, step right out of the SBB station and see a beautiful, clean hotel just across the street, and then walk in to be greeted by a warm and friendly front desk staff – that feeling is just so comforting. Right outside the hotel, there are buses and trams to all the major sights . The breakfast is exquisite, the beer at the bar has a rich malty aroma, and one more most important thing – I have to say it loud three times: the hotel has air conditioning! The hotel has air conditioning! THE HOTEL HAS AIR CONDITIONING!

almost no.

The room, location, and breakfast were all above our expectations! Since we arrived by train, and the hotel is directly across from the station the convenience was immeasurable. The staff is superior! The breakfast was perfect!

I can’t see anything to suggest! I have no complaints.

Finom reggeli.Kedves személyzet

We loved the location of the hotel and the ease of using the trams out front. We found the breakfast and morning service to be wonderful as were the rooms and the windows that cut out all and any noise from the trams.

Arrived in the evening for a one night stopover so the proximity to the station was great. Didn't expect to get much from Basel in such a short visit but the free travel pass and advice from a really friendly and informative member of staff meant we made the most of it. A tram journey, a walk by the river and a great meal gave us a positive impression of Basel......and its river-swimming culture!

No nefative comments.

Tout était parfait 👌👌

Well located ,clean ,well priced hospitable hotel.

Ligging perfect.

Nogal aan de prijs, ontbijt exorbitant duur.

Location comfy room

Ottima posizione e pulizia perfetta

Excellent breakfast and customer service. Great shower.

Hotel is conveniently located near the main train station and within 10-15 min walking distance to Basel historic center (or a few stops by tram, if you want to save energy). Like all Swiss hotels, it provides you with a Basel Tourist card, that gives a free access to all public transportation, museum entrance and various discounts during your stay. Our Ambiente Double Room was awesome. Very spacious, full of light pouring through big windows, with hardwood floors, it turned out to be a Fitness room. We moved into the corner the stationary bike:), but fully utilized yoga mat and even Swedish ladder. The room faced the busy square, but was very quiet. Air con worked wonders during the heat wave. Breakfast was delicious, staff attentive and helpful.

No fridge in the room. Otherwise, we loved the place.

Phantastisches Frühstück (Qualität der Speisen) / Total freundlicher Service an der Rezeption und der Bar / Sehr geräumige Dusche / Tolle Lage

Nichts

Gute Lage und perfekt Verkehrsanbindung

Clean and close to transportation. Great customer service

None

Great location, lovely staff, superb hotel

Tolles, grosses Zimmer. Riesiges Bad.

Good location

No A/C in the room (or didn’t work), terrible pillows, elevator broken one afternoon, no fridge in the room… to name a few

Comfort in room, location, helpful staff

Breakfast was SFr 5 more expensive in morning than I was told in the evening before

Informatie voorziening. Extras als Basel card en wickelfisch. Vriendelijke sfeer.

Je hoort de trams langs komen.

Comfortable beds and good sized rooms and bathrooms. Staff were helpful in sorting out rooms next to each other. Location next to the train station is super useful.

The hotel location across the road from the main train station allowed easy transit for our day trip to Colmar and our last day departure for Paris.
