The Maple Inn

Excellent ! Wonderful host, check-in, lovely room, comfortable beds, lovely, comfortable sitting/games room. The entire stay was perfect t along with a fantastic breakfast. Will stay again for sure and we highly recommend this little gem of an Inn.

Nothing thing to dislike!

Three course breakfast was superb and exceeded expectations; genial host, friendly & efficient staff.

In the Inn information pack a map of the area would have been useful and would have saved us from getting lost several times, as well as info on the location of eateries.

Die Räume eins Suiten sind alle individuell gestaltet und erinnern an schöne UK Cottages. Das Frühstück ist sensationell und mal etwas anderes als das typische Continental- oder amerikanische Frühstück.

The location was perfectly located as a starting point to visit Nova Scotia.

Die Lage war zentral aber ruhig. Das Frühstück war mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet und es war sehr schmackhaft.

Zuerst hätten wir irgendwie ein Zimmer zugeteilt bekommen wo das Bad nicht im Zimmer ist. Wir haben aber im Voraus das geschrieben, dass wir zu diesem Preis (doch ansehnlicher Betrag) ein privates Badezimmer im Zimmer haben möchten, was dann auch möglich war.

So quaint with many gathering spaces. Great location and amazing owner.

Beautiful hotel, early 1900s feel with modern updates. Quiet location within easy walking distance of the town. Large, private clean rooms. Breakfast was included and phenomenal. Owners and staff were kind, helpful and genuinely showed an interest in you. We felt privileged staying here.

Fantastic stay. Hosts Paul and staff amazing. Homemade Breakfasts were delicious. Stayed in Tucker Tower which was very spacious. Few stairs to climb to get to suite but that’s fine for us. Parsborro a lovely little town. Ate dinner twice at Harbourview restaurant and watched tide ebb and flow. Definately would stay again at The Maple Inn !!

We loved our stay. Everything was so tasteful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and the decor really thoughtfully arranged. Our host went that extra mile to make us feel at home. The breakfast was a perfect way to start our day. Thank you!

Tupper Canning suite was beautiful. The 3-course breakfast was fantastic. Lovely hosts. Love their green initiatives: solar heated hot water, solar electric panels, led bulbs throughout, motion activated lights in halls.

Very nice property. Walk in to a nice cinnamon smell. Coffee area is top notch. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was fantastic. Staff is super friendly. Have a popcorn machine! We sat in the sun room with our take out pie and had a coffee and then took popcorn to the room. Front porch is quaint with a swing!

Beautiful historical inn wonderfully decorated with period furniture that you can comfortably sit or sleep on. Breakfast was delicious! Very quiet & very clean!

The Maple Inn B & B was perfection! The property was gorgeous and well maintained while keeping the historical presence intact. Our room was so clean, sweet and comfortable, and our hosts were very pleasant and informed. The breakfast was absolutely out of this world, and our only regret was not being able to extend our time!

A sweet place in a quiet town! Hosts were lovely people. A bit of a drive to the town itself but we weren’t in a hurry so fun to cruise in a convertible and see sweet homes and seaside

Our stay here is a hi-lite of our visit to Nova Scotia! The house itself is gorgeous; our host Paul was attentive, is very knowledgeable about the area, and makes splendid breakfasts! We truly felt very welcome and recommend the Maple Inn if you get a chance to stay in Parrsboro.

My wife & I were very impressed with this property, from the moment we checked in to check out. Our room was wonderful, large, clean & nicely decorated. Breakfast was excellent, a three course presentation that was great. The Maple Inn is definitely recommended and will be on our list if / when we wander by Parrsboro again.

The breakfast was so good.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Free coffee and popcorn and a nice deck to sit on and enjoy coffee. The host was friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast was delicious. It is a short walk to the Main Street. Nice artwork and interesting historical and information about the owners.

This was one of the best B&Bs I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The place was immaculate, and Paul was extremely kind, greeting us immediately as we arrived. We came here to celebrate our one year anniversary and Paul made sure that we felt special. The food was FANTASTIC - a three-course breakfast everyday. The communal spaces were so lovely - a nice sunroom with games to play (which we did) and some free tea/coffee/hot chocolate and popcorn at any hour of the day! If you're in Parrsboro, staying at the Maple Inn is the best place to go. (Plus we got to meet Maple, which is one of the kitties that lives there <3) It was a perfect vacation.

The property is beautifully decorated, showing the owners attention to every detail. It's very well maintained. Paul is a and we very much enjoyed our stay. We had the Tower room, which had one of its bathroom completely renovated, with modern shower. I would definitely recommend!wonderful host.

Wonderful place to stay! The owners are warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious!

This property is a gem! The owners are lovely, personable and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay with an amazing freshly made breakfast in the morning. The scones are mouth watering and made each morning! You can easily walk to the Main Street from the Inn or to the theatre is you have tickets to see a show. We booked room #7 and had a private balcony which was wonderful. Don’t hesitate to book a room at this property - you will not be disappointed!

Parsborro is a hidden gem in Nova Scotia and Maple Inn is an amazing place to stay and explore the area! The hands on owners Paul and MacKenzie have done a remarkable job renovating and decorating the Inn. They have great recommendations so you get the most of what you want from your visit! This is a stunning Inn. Paul is an amazing host. The Inn is beautiful, pristine and decorated in a lovely, soft, and luxurious manner. The 3 course breakfast was fabulous, including great coffee. Paul’s warm welcome and helpful suggestions for travel made our getaway really special. Highly recommend the Maple Inn.

We had an amazing visit! It was quiet. Paul the host was very kind and genuine. He was friendly and we had a great chat during breakfast! Paul is definitely the host with the most! Homemade everything for breakfast, so yummy! If you are looking for a place to stay! This is definitely the best spot in Parrsboro( and surrounding area) Thank you Paul….we will be back!

Clean, beautiful home with top-shelf service from the owner. I woke up for work and there was a to-go cup beside a full coffee pot, and a to-go breakfast bag. Paul is phenomenal at this.

Large historic property with exceptional service and gourmet breakfast. The rooms were warm and the beds were comfortable. Flies were annoying, but this is a common problem for older properties. Of note, there was a large transactional pride flag on the front of the property.

What a spectacular Bed and Breakfast! Absolutely amazing experience. The service and friendly atmosphere were beyond expectations. The food for breakfast was amazing and obvious that they cared so much for their patrons. The location and room: Tower that we stayed in was fantastic for a family. The service from the staff was also amazing and it is clear that the owners have very specific expectations for excellence. Highly recommend this fabulous place!!

We loved the history and charming decor. Each room is unique and beautifully decorated. We were in the 3rd floor suite with 2 huge bathrooms and 2 separate bedrooms. Paul’s breakfast was delicious and he was the perfect gracious host!

Excellent friendly hosts

The Maple Inn was a sweet gem of a place located walking distance to downtown. Paul, the innkeeper was a delight and an abundance of knowledge to the history of this sweet little town and also the homes here in this area, I could always count on fresh popcorn and a cup of tea in the evenings and sit around and read in their room. Loved my stay.

We loved our stay in this house. The house is unique and every room is decorated differently. We stayed in black velvet room. The room was very clean and comfortable, Paul is an excellent host, very friendly and hospitable. He cooks delicious three course breakfast. I am vegan and gluten intolerant and he was able to accommodate my diet. I even had gluten free pancakes for breakfast on Sunday.

Beautiful property that is obviously well cared for. Very friendly and welcoming owner. He grew up 45 minutes away from the city we live in, so we chatted about that. We stayed in the Tupper Room which was large and had a cute electric fireplace, as well as a nice porch off the room. Breakfast was really good and consisted of a scone, fruit cup with yogurt and homemade granola, and pancakes and bacon. The interior of the inn is beautiful and obviously well cared for. We wished that we could have stayed longer and will be back if in the area again!

A beautifully restored property. Lots of thoughtful touches and immaculately clean. Staff very welcoming and attentive with great facilities. Coffee centre and popcorn were always available. Breakfasts were exquisite and service was very personable.

The host was charming and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the whole inn was very tastefully decorated and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! I would totally go back there next time I’m near Parrsboro! Would 100% recommend!

Spotlessly clean, beautiful spacious suite, excellent breakfast. Coffee and tea available at all times, a very welcome touch. Only suggestion for improvement is the front walkway is weedy and a bit neglected looking. But inside all is excellent.

Beautiful Victorian style B&B (located in a scenic little village) with verry friendly and welcoming owners/staff. Green and eco-friendly with solar electricity and solar water heating! No electric car charging yet, but their kindness will quickly make you forget about that. Worth the visit!

The owners are fantastic people and the location suited us. Lovely old building in character but the door squeaked and stuck, so a challenge to quietly get up in the night. I would stay again but on the main floor the food was delicious and the service was great.

The best B&B i've ever stayed in. The owner not only goes out of his way to make your stay pleasant but is an incredible cook, never had such a delicious 3 couse breakfast in years. Rooms are so unique & comfortable. My brother & I stayed in Hatfield Room & it was wonderful. Would definitely go back again.

Maple Inn B&B is in a lovely old home that's been restored beautifully. The owners, the Aitken family, are very welcoming.
