The bedroom door had a two centimeters gap at the base and half a centimeter at the top so admitted light from the landing, disturbing my sleep. The refrigerator in the room sounded like a tractor on idle. No evening meal option and their recommended restaurant was awful. Swimming pool was closed.

Our top level room was very large and well decorated. The sauna was a nice bonus. The hosts, Mike and Adele, were very nice and helpful and provided a great breakfast with choices and variety. The Inn is a short walk to Parsborro and is well located to see all the wonderful sites of the Bay of Fundy. Would definitely recommend staying there.

The hosts were knowledgeable of the area, the breakfast was a good start for the day, fresh scrambled eggs, sausages, homemade scones. There was tea, coffee, juice, toast, cookies, macaroons, crackers. Just about anything you needed including dry cereal. Most cupboards were labelled.

Room very well decorated and a generous size, including the bathroom. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful with sightseeing activities. I would definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful B&B set in a very large garden which gives it privacy despite being close to the centre of Parrsboro. The owners, Adele and Michael, are lovely hosts. Great breakfasts. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Very clean and comfortable.

È tutto bellissimo! La struttura è vicina a tutti i punti di interesse. È molto bella e curata benissimo! La cucina e la piscina, molto confortevoli. La camera splendida! Comoda e ben arredata!

Véritable Guesthouse si rare de nos jours. Très jolie maison typique de la Nouvelle Ecosse. Chambre spacieuse avec lit King size. Grand parc, grande piscine chauffée. Très calme. Agréable terrasse. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et très attentionnés. Présents et discrets à la fois. Petit déjeuner bien avec plat chaud préparé par les hôtes. Parking à côté de la maison.

Absolutely fantastic!! We have never experienced this type of hospitality in any of our vacation stays. The owners are very attentive and helpful, with expansive knowledge of activities and places to see. The breakfasts were amazing and all home cooked or baked. We will be back!

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und hatten ein wunderbares, liebevoll dekoriertes und sehr großes Zimmer ( Nr. 3). Das Bett war hervorragend. Im ganzen Haus war es sehr sauber. Es gab sogar einen beheizten Pool im Garten, den wir voller Freude genutzt haben. Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und haben uns beim Frühstück jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Wirklich das beste Frühstück auf unserer Reise ( es gab sogar Käse). Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Leider waren wir nur 1 Nacht dort, das war definitiv ein Fehler.

Kind, friendly, and gracious hosts. Lovely, quiet, clean property. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a bathroom with two sinks. We were able to walk to a band stand to see live music, which was really cool. Breakfast was amazing! It included farm fresh, local eggs, fresh fruit, and pancakes, among other items. My child really enjoyed the pool, as well. Thank you for a really wonderful stay!

The house was super clean, very bright and cheery. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were very clean. The owners had thought of everything. They were also very helpful.

Mike and Adele were wonderful hosts. They were very friendly and responsive to any needs, questions or concerns.

Mike and Adele are efficient and excellent b and b hosts...experienced in ensuring all the little things are provided. Our room was good size and the property is also expansive.

The Paisley Nest room has a lovely view of the garden and outdoor pool, a two sink bathroom, very comfortable bed, small fridge . It was surprisingly quiet given there are rooms on both sides and overhead. The hosts were very friendly with good information on what to see in the area. The breakfast areas were open at all times for sitting or filling water bottles. There was also a shared sitting room at the end of the hall for more spreading out. Breakfast was made to order (but be prepared to provide a requested time, preferably between 8:30 and 9:30). It is about a 5 minute walk to area stores and you are well situated for Ottawa House or Fundy Geological Museum. Parrsboro is a bit of a food desert if you are lactose intolerant or need high fiber with 2 fried seafood restaurants. But the Mansion hosts adapt well to allergies. They have 2 kids and a dog who are present, but not problematic.

Stayed on main floor. Whoever was above us made a lot of noise until quite late. Stomping and talking loud. Hard to sleep as it felt like they were right there.

The Inn is on the outskirts of Parrsboro and is very well presented. Mike & Adele are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very well presented, spotless and had everything you could want including a fridge, coffee maker and hairdryer. Lovely outlook from our room over the garden. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice of cereals, granola breads, fruit, yoghurt etc and then Mike made pancakes on our first morning and scones with bacon and scrambled egg on the second morning.

Can't say that there was anything we didn't like. Thank you both for making us so welcome and for the recommendation of the Harbour View Cafe for dinner with nights - it was fantastic.

I stayed at the Parrsboro Mansion Inn for 5 nights from May 25 to May 30. The owners were great and made me feel right at home. The room was beautiful and spotless. The breakfasts were delicious 😋 Highly recommend! Marielle

My travel companion travels with a fully licensed service dog. When we arrived, we were greeted with hostility and questioned rudely about the dog's purpose. I understand this was the owner's first interaction with a service dog, and they reacted poorly. My friend is very gracious and was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. But when we went back a few hours later. My friend asked some other questions about the area and was once again confronted with some rude, judgmental comments. My friend had chosen not to say anything. However, unfortunately, overnight, I started my period and got some blood on the sheets. Once we left, we were charged $150 for "damages incurred". I understand that it is within their right to charge me. But I know this is not the first time this has happened to me or to many of my friends, at other establishments, and I have never been or heard anyone else being charged for this. It's unfortunate it happened, but it seems like a steep cost for a washing bill. All in all, nothing that dramatic or terrible happened, and they followed the service dog law to the letter, but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and made my travel companion very uneasy during our whole stay. Oh, and the beds were crazy super soft. Take that as you will. That might be your jam. But it certainly is not mine.

Everything about this property is exceptional. It’s lovely and a good value. Our room with two queens is very large and faced the garden. Mike was very attentive. He provided suggestions for activities and restaurants and cooked an amazing breakfast including freshly baked cheese scones, lots of fresh fruit, eggs and more. Parrsboro is a lovely town with good, reasonably priced restaurants and a brewery. The coop is basically a supermarket with a great selection but a little smaller. We highly recommend the Parrsboro Mansion and their hosts, Mike and Adele

We visited very early and they just opened for the season. We had the the choice of two rooms and we just loved our room as well as the entire experience at the inn. Clean, convenient, and close to lots of great activities. Breakfast was superb and Mike and Adele treated us like family. Be sure to rub Loki the dog’s belly.

We stayed at the Parrsboro Mansion about seven years ago, before the current owners Mike and Adele purchased it. What a difference! Facilities, amenities and rooms have all undergone a significant upgrade. The breakfast was great and we really enjoyed our stay.

Clean, quiet and good breakfast

The host, Mike was very welcoming and friendly! He served a great breakfast each morning and gave us ideas of things to see and places to eat. His wife also came and visited with us during breakfast. We greatly appreciated that he asked about food allergies and was more than willing to accommodate them. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed playing games in the shared living area. This was a beautiful location and great place to stay.

Lovely first-time stay. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and spotless bathroom. The Keurig in the room with coffee and tea was a nice touch. They show attention to detail with shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion in the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious! Cheese scones, sausage and eggs, yogurt with granola and fruit plus juice, coffee and tea. There were also cereals and baked goods. Plenty of selection and fresh, nice in the off-season! Great they were open as we were visiting family for Christmas when other places are closed up. Looking forward to our next stay, Mike and Adele are welcoming hosts!

We had a great stay here. Our group of four adults stayed in two rooms. The queen suite was roomy and well appointed. A sauna located just outside the room was very appreciated after a long day. The rose room was beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. The setting is quiet and peaceful. Wonderful breakfast served the next morning. Mike, the host was delightful. We would stay here again.

Mike and Adele, the host and hostess were wonderful and very friendly. Mike served a great breakfast each day and was very thoughtful about food allergies. He also recommended places to go that we hadn't heard about anywhere else and those added to our trip. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and there was a lovely shared sitting area where we could play games.

A beautiful place to stay in the quiet, scenic town of Parrsboro. The Mansion Inn is set back off the road and makes for a beautiful view as you're coming up to it. The rooms are all clean, spacious, and well furnished with comfortable beds and chairs, a little fridge and a coffee machine, and TVs with streaming services. Several of the rooms are easily accessible at ground lebel too - though there were a couple of steps up to check in and breakfast. In fairness to the owners, they may have a solution for this but we didn't ask as the least mobile member of our group could handle a couple of steps well enough. The hosts are absolutely delightful, friendly and accommodating. We had a particularly early start the next morning, and they were kind enough to start breakfast slightly early to help us get away on time. They were informative, happy to assist, ensured we were well looked after, and were in turn glad to see us make use of their veranda to enjoy a cup of tea, and the game room for a round of cards. All in all a wonderful stay that exceeded all our expectations and left us wanting for nothing. If we ever have reason to stay in Parrsboro again, I know exactly where we're going. Oh, and the breakfast was fantastic too!

The owners were delightful. Even provided me with a water bottle for the day. They offered high praise for the guide I had booked with and I found that comforting.

The people who run this B&B are salt of the earth nice people. Our room had easy access and was so comfortable. We chose our own room temp and had every amenity we needed. The inn was full but our room was very quiet. The owners gave us great tips for seeing the boiling tide. There is a game/reading room which we used to play a game of scrabble. Breakfast was fresh and hot, cooked for us when we were ready. Cheese scones right out of the oven! Lived that we had a bath tub.

My husband and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary weekend at the Parrsboro Mansion Inn in September 2025. The hosts were extremely friendly and kind and welcoming! Also very helpful for giving us great ideas of local attractions to visit. The accommodations were lovely and clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!

It was such an interesting stay in a place all about the tides. The Minas Basin has endless places to explore and Parrsboro Mansion Inn is perfectly situated for that. A plus to that is the owners’ knowledge of the surrounding wonders one can access close to the property.

There was nothing to complain about. Our stay there was the highlight of our Nova Scotia trip!

Riesenzimmer im Marine-Stil in Blau und Gelb , das beste Badezimmer unserer Tour, Ausstattung perfekt. Die Gastgeber: perfektes, reichhaltiges Frühstück im Wintergarten. Eine Liste von Sehenswürdigkeiten bekamen wir ausgedruckt auf deutsch geliefert, Grundlage für einen interessanten Tag. Sehr zu empfehlen, man fühlt sich zuhause.
