Beautiful hotel and room, very comfortable, and located in a very central area of George Town. Despite being an old-style fashioned hotel, it is super modern in all its comfort. Staff is very friendly

Personnel incroyable aux petits soins sur toute la durée de notre séjour, Nasir en particulier. Ils ont fait un geste très attentionné pour notre lune de miel que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. La demeure est magnifique et s'inscrit parfaitement dans notre séjour à Georgetown. La piscine très agréable et les chambres pleines de charme. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir!

Un peu de bruit a cause des bars environnants (surtout le samedi)

La ubicación del alojamiento era idílica para visitar los principales puntos turísticos y está rodeado de infinidad de restaurantes. Nos alejamos en la suite chulia, esta dividida en 2 estancias grandes (ambas con televisión) + el baño, lo que lo hace muy agradable. El staff fue increíblemente amable. Al día siguiente, nuestro autobús salía tarde, y nos guardaron las maletas para que pudiésemos seguir turisteando. Creo que había leído alguna reseña negativa del desayuno, en mi opinión, para estar incluido, es suficiente, tortillas al gusto, tostadas, salchichas, fideos y algún dulce. Si quieres otras opciones, tienes muchas cafeterias top alrededor y una tienda de cookies famosa.

Heel fijn hotel. Mooie schone kamers met goede douche. Prima ontbijt. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en attent. Lokatie uitstekend. Zwembad ook heel fijn.

Eerste nacht geluids overlast van straat tot diep in nacht echt harde muziek (maar volgens mij was er ook festival?). Tweede nacht hele avond geluiden van bovenburen gehoord, leek wel of ze meubels aan verplaatsten (wij hadden ook kamer beneden). 2 persoons kamer boven is wat krapper met minder kast ruimte.

Due to late flights, we arrived at Yeng Keng Hotel at 5am. I had informed the hotel and they had been very communicative and reassuring that there would be hotel staff to greet us; it was no problem at all. When we arrived, they were truly delightful, bringing us a refreshing local drink and checking us in quickly and with huge smiles. We were shown to our rooms which were spotless and very comfortable.

Very little! The hotel café/restaurant closed between 3-6pm so there was no way to order any food or drink (other than water or tea/coffee) during this time which was a shame.

Beautiful heritage hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Amazing friendly staff, everyone had a ready smile and took their time to answer any questions and give us any information. Pool and garden area is so pretty and cute, good variety at breakfast.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter George Town à pied! L’hôtel est très beau et atypique, petit déjeuner diversifié et bon. Personnel est au petit soin, ils nous ont même aidé pour contacter une agence de location de voiture! La piscine est un plus bien agréable.

La chambre est un peu petite pour 3 personnes, les toilettes dans la salle de bain pas toujours pratique mais pour 2-3 jours ça allait.

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay at Yeng Keng. The location was close to everything you need. It was magical to just walk outside and stroll along all the colorful streets and smell the aromas of some of the best food we’ve had in Malaysia. The staff was outstanding! So helpful and polite and made us feel very special. Shout out to Yeoh…customer service like we’ve never had before. The hotel was beautiful and full of character and charm. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again!

The room is on the smaller side and the mattress is very hard! We read about the same issue in some of the other reviews on this platform but did not pay attention to it until we faced it ourselves. Couldn't have a proper sleep.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Chulia suite. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The location couldn't have been better - everything was so close to hand! The character and style of the hotel is gorgeous - we loved that it was small and immaculately kept. We ate at the restaurant (at very short notice) and the food was fantastic and very well priced.

Bed was very firm. It did get noisy at times due to being a main road and with the muslim temple's call to prayer, but we were aware of this before we booked so nothing to complain about.

Tolle, zentrale Lage, sehr schön eingerichtetes Heritage- Hotel mit schöner Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit; v.a. die junge Inderin an der Rezeption ist uns positiv aufgefallen. Das Frühstück hat uns gut geschmeckt und die Nionya Süssigkeiten waren sehr lecker.

Unser Zimmer war viel zu klein und zugestellt mit sperrigen unnötigen Sesseln. Wir konnten nur mit Mühe unser Gepäck darin unterbringen. Der Preis ist für die Grösse des Zimmers einiges zu hoch. Am Pool gibt es zu wenig Liegen und Sonnenschirme.

Definitely one of the best hotels i stated in, in Malaysia. Right in the centre of town, but with the most serene, quiet atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and hospitality was great.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk or take a short Grab ride to all the places we wanted to go in George Town. Checking in/out was a breeze. The staff was wonderful, and the townhouse (number 7) was beautifully renovated and decorated.

The location was great for us. In the livelier part of town and easy walking distance to the attractions we were visiting to see. Staff were really lovely throughout the stay. Pool area well maintained and nice to enjoy after hot day out. The building itself on the outside is really pretty.

The room was very dated. We paid for a better room but the pictures on Booking make it look much better than what you actually get. Very hard bed. AC very noisy and broke completely on our last night with a smell of burning. Breakfast was ok but not great.

Sehr sauberes, historisches kleines Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Restaurants, Bars und Sehenswürdigkeiten alles in der Nähe. Zimmer sind sehr klein und die Betten hart. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend- wem es zu wenig ist kann sich zusätzlich etwas bestellen. Der Pool ist für eine kurze Erfrischung perfekt. Bei uns war es sehr ruhig.

The location is excellent, right in the center of the tourist area, within walking distance of Chulia Street food and many great cafés.

There is some noise from traffic at times. Adding a sofa in each room would further enhance comfort for guests.

Everything about the hotel was great. The facilities, staff and the restaurant next door.

Upon my request, the hotel arranged for airport transfer once I checked out. However the driver was late. No apologies, nothing. Only said, "I dunno anything, my boss arranged the transfer. Talk to him." Yeng Keng hotel should re-evaluate using this transport vendor.

Petit déjeuner catastrophique, Quelques clémentines et petits morceaux de pastèque, quelques bouchées de riz sucrées, oeufs... Aucun choix et pas de qualité. Seulement 4 transats autour de la mini piscine et literie qui laissait à désirer au niveau confort....je ne recommande pas cet hôtel il y a mieux !!!

Very friendly staff, eager to please. Room was on the smaller side but functional. Air conditioning worked well but found we only needed the fan overnight. Pool was lovely and usually the only ones there. Easy to walk to lots of great restaurants. Breakfast was adequate. Great stay.

The bathroom had a funky smell, it was clean so I think it may have been from the drain. Bed was way too hard but that seems to be normal in Malaysia. There was something smelly left in the fridge from a previous guest. Banging door in the morning otherwise fairly quiet.

Beautiful hotel in a very vibrant locality. There are countless restaurants, bars and shops within a ten minute walk.The staff are excellent. The breakfast was wonderful. Although small the swimming pool was perfect for cooling down after a hot day.

This is possibly the most beautiful hotel in Georgetown - small; centrally located; helpful friendly staff! The reception and dining areas were filled with stunningly ornate furniture and we felt fortunate to be able to access and stay at this historic hotel. Loved it!

Het hotel heeft een zwembad wat een pluspunt is. Er zijn echter veel te weinig ligbedden en de vloer rondo. Het zwembad is spiegelglad als deze nat wordt!

The hotel is located in the midst of the historical quarter of George town, Penang. We had the suite which faced Chulia Street, a main thoroughfare.As such it was a little noisy but not a problem.We walked to most of the sights and restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant next to it which, however we did not try except for breakfast that was included.

The breakfast which was included was basic and disappointing.

The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance, to immerse in all that Georgetown has to offer. The staff and service is excellent. All facilities are kept very clean and the pool was perfect to cool off every afternoon, after a morning’s walk, exploring Georgetown.

The bed had an extremely hard mattress.

Les chambres du bas ne sont pas insonorisées et il fait lourd (malgré la clim allumée). Le petit déjeuner n’est vraiment pas bon, heureusement qu’il est compris dans le prix :)
