Airport Gateway Christchurch

Room was not very clean and poor lighting. The guy that let us into the room was very nice and helpful, but reception staff gave the impression they didnt want to be there.

Big spacious room

No shops close by

That we got upgraded to the penthouse

When we first got there our room was not clean and there was bedding on the floor and food on the table. The shower went cold and there was only 4 people that had a shower

Staff very friendly & helpful. Transfer easy

Restaurant and courtesy car

Road noise next time I’ll ask for the back

Bed was comfy

Bit old and worse for wear.

Always good service

Close to the airport with transfer bus

Mattresses had springs poking you

Spacious, roomy, older style but well maintained. Staff great and on site restaurant and bar excellent. Free shuttle service from airport. Close to airport and hire cars for travellers. Quiet. Nice little coffee hub just across the road.

The mattress was too firm but we are used to a softer mattress.

Lovely place to stay, really good affordable prices

Location and staff

Room was tired snd a bit smelly. The ranchslider tracks hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time

Proximity to the airport

Nothing

Shuttle service was excellent, staff very friendly, rooms loverly.

My room on my second night had a shower over the bath which I found difficult.

Extremely close to airport, shuttle availability at all times. Having an on-site restaurant (with room service) was a bonus offering b/fast/lunch & dinner. Able to just have a coffee as well.

Free airport shuttle, cosy warm room and comfy bed.

Had an upstairs room - bit awkward after recent knee surgery.

机场的穿梭巴士很方便，房间很安静

Room had been refurbished. Arrived at midnight on a 3 deg night and the heater had been turned on. It was so much appreciated. Shuffle driver lady was lovely.

The location and the room and the staff were amazing, a staff member was at the room waiting for us when we drove our car around to the room , she greeted us and helped carry our luggage in and then set the tv and air con up for us , very lovely lady , we then went to the restaurant and had the best dinner, the chef is amazing and the wait staff were lovely, loved our stay there .

Couple of chairs out the back would be good

Clean and tidy and spacious rooms. Super great having free airport transfer.

Easy booking

The room was spacious and had good facilities. The decor and fittings are a little tired. The shuttle was excellent and came really quickly to the airport. The location is great.

I found the bedding provided was insufficient and I was very cold all night. The heat pump is in the bedroom, which means it is less effective in the lounge area.

Close to airport, staff very friendly, good heat pump, bed comfortable. It was very tidy for such an old motel room.

Old, not double galzed, cold, hob on oven didn't work, cleaner didnt tidy up even though I'd done most of it - just changed rubbish bins, put dishes away I'd washed but not the rack or the iron etc. Didn't remake the bed. The photo showed a new bathroom but it was very old. Booking.com doesn't show there is a brand new wing but they only give that to business travellers.

The staff were lovely and great service and the room was lovely and nice and clean I would recommend this motel to everyone it's really handy to the airport and shops and you get great service

Our arrival in Christchurch was made easy and very comfortable. Collected by a lovely man whose name escapes me. Very comfortable excellent dinner and great location

Nothing

Having a restaurant and bar was great as were all staff we encountered.

It’s close to the airport and has a free shuttle was nice and clean with a comfy bed

The room and bathroom in particular are very old now, but still perfectly fine for a night or two. Parking is on a first come first served basis and I think they’re also running an airport parking scheme from the same parking lot, so it was very limited parking, but still fine

Close to the airport Staff are so friendly and helpful The 24/7 shuttle bus is so great Rooms are big and clean The restaurant is amazing! The food is epic

Nothing

Close to the airport. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. Airport shuttle.

The only negative was a dodgy shower head in the second room we stayed in. Only a minor inconvenience and would not prevent me from staying again.

Location and shuttle from the airport

Had to wait some time for the shuttle and for more passengers

Lovely quiet room comfy bed good facilities

This is my second stay here and certainly won’t be my last I’m so impressed, from being picked up from airport in the shuttle to dropped off very early the next day The staff are so friendly and welcoming I had dinner in the restaurant the food was great and again the staff were lovely My accommodation was fantastic, Great value for money Il be back

Can’t fault it

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They made everything so easy and clear. Rooms are big and comfortable and contained everything I needed

The shower didn’t really have enough water but there was a shub as so all good

Close to airport restaurant on site

Long hairs left on duvet cover from previous guests

Soft bed

Scaling stairs

Proximity to airport, wifi,shuttle, price.

Would have liked to stay longer. Still waiting for $200 bond to be released after a week but that may be the bank.

Everything was perfect. Including the food and shuttle.

Staff were so helpful

Heater didn't work even though the guy came to fix it.

Staff were very friendly

There was a rubbish truck very early in the morning

Great to have a free reliable airport shuttle. Staff very friendly and room very comfortable

Restaurant a bit pricey

Very clean, good food, friendly stuff members. Clean and comfortable room.

Nil

For 1 night absolutely fine. Interior looks a bit used, very comfortable bedroom. Low water pressure in the shower. Good restaurant

Marvellous

Nothing

Ease of check in and the friendliness of the staff. The realisation perhaps that I'd had a hard drive and needed something to eat. The help with my bag to my room and the delivery of something to eat and drink was perfect.

The bed was a little bit firmer than I am used to.

Great airport transfer service, and super friendly and helpful staff.

Large room, great shower and water pressure and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We had both breakfast and lunch at the Restaurant and enjoyed the quality food. The shuttle to and from the Airport was great.

We always stay here when we have an early flight from Chch airport. We appreciate the shuttle service and friendly, helpful drivers. The rooms are very generous with a huge comfy bed and we like having the option to eat in our room if we want.

There is nothing we don’t like about the property although we tried the restaurant for the first time this stay and probably would t repeat that experience. The space was cold and the food was average.

Room excellent, staff wonderful and bar restaurant was amazing, ordered the slow cooked lamb shoulder for 2 and it was lovely. All the staff had great attitudes and were really happy and upbeat. Infectious.

Everything was great

great staff very helpful

Great staff in the restaurant!

Location was perfect , close to airport and great to have shuttle service to airport.

Quite tired and dated inside .. stains on chair fabric . Found water pressure from hot tap in bathroom was not great !!

Place so clean and roomy

Nothing

The service was amazing The lounge and bedroom area were spacious and lovely.

Bathroom was a bit tired - could fo with an update.

The room was great. Near to the airport. easy to excess by shuttle

对于机场周转能力位置很优越，很干净，员工服务非常热情

都很好

Great size room, free shuttle to airport

Great location close to airport, cost effective and easy to use. Staff we outstanding, the man on shift during the night operating reception and transport was brilliant!

Nothing - as stated on booking platform. The room is the room, the price is great and the location is perfect for my needs. Would stay again.

24 hr airport shuttle and check in. Friendly staff.
