Very minor things, no complementary toiletries like shower caps, cotton buds or toothbrushrs etc for those who may have accidentally left them at home.

The bathroom needs an overhaul. Bathroom door beyond repair, extractor fan not working. Hotel Q R code system not working so had to fossick around on web site to get info on dining as there was no compendium of information of any sort in the room.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Our corner room with balcony was spacious with a lovely view of the harbor. Clean with comfortable beds and friendly staff. Excellent restaurant on site. And so nice to just go down stairs for good coffee.
Unfortunately the restaurant hours were abbreviated while we were there.

Reviewed May 18, 2026Breakfast was as good as it gets. We haven't had a breakfast that good in a restaurant anywhere. Superb. Staff were very good Facilities were quite tired, but clean. Underprovisioned, but anything asked for was given. Staff solved the couple of issues that arose without difficulty.
Room were a bit tired, TV did't offer a good range, ie not sport of international news.

Normally when we're in a hotel, we only feel like being in the room to sleep and maybe eat - but here, we would have been happy to stay inside all day! Lovely bed, sofa, coffee table, marina view, generously sized TV which we could cast to. We were able to give each other personal space when needed - rare in a hotel. It felt very homely. It was also lovely and quiet.
Tiny one - maybe a couple of bowls could be added to the refreshment stand. We had brought cereal but had to eat it out of cups (which was fine).

Onsite restaurant opens too late for breakfast if you are SCUBA diving in the morning. But the cafe next door works.

Had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. The Hotel was in walking distance to the pub and restaurants along the marina and they didn't disappoint. Recommended.

Communication was great, as I changed my plans last minute and extended my stay and they were very prompt to action this. The restaurant on site - food was absolutely superb!
The lights from the street and hallway did shine into the room a bit during the night, but I became used to it.

Breakfast under the umbrella out in the open out front Very helpful when I advised I had left some things behind and hoped to retrieve them...post office finally being organised to deliver self-addressed package!! Pool was refreshing even though only had time for one dip. Small but up and away from viewing possibilities with passersby. Close walking to restaurants and bars which was ideal for NY's eve - even though had had enough socialising well before midnight. Parking fine
