Lovely room. Very clean and comfortable. Great location. Very central. Great breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Nice old hotel decor
Breakfast buffet and hot menu is average. Rooms are clean and updated. But no place in bath to hang or place a hand towel. Also no outlet for hairdryer for women in bathroom but outlets for men’s shaver - which barely exist anymore as all are rechargeable type
Central to town, clean facilities and great food and service
No parking and needed 50 deposit for parking permit on top of cost which seemed unreasonable.
Excellent staff, excellent large room, excellent A/C, excellent shower, excellent breakfast (except for the scrambled eggs which were terrible). The breakfast included a buffet with cold items like fresh fruit and yogurt and then you can order a full breakfast from a menu.
It was very clean and a lot of history shown around the walls of the hotel
Excellent location great double room nice breakfast
Lüftung der Küche direkt vor dem Fenster, fettiger Geruch, lärmig

Breakfast was very nice, service and room were also nice.
Room was a little warm, temp is centrally managed.
tThe room was lovely it had only been redecorated lovely airy clean bathroom and a nice street view nice and quiet. The breakfast was very good also plenty of variety and lovely staff.
The only drawback was there were no lifts so if you can not do the stairs its unfortunate, but they had a lovely boy bring up our luggage for us whitch was a great help also they validate parking aswell.
Friendly staff, great bedroom with comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and dinner
Nothing

Bathroom, good shower
Bar food, breakfast a bit mean, bed felt very itchy during the night. Some staff could have a bit more cop on.
The room exceeded my expectations… it was very high spec….and Hotel was really nice inside. What we loved most… was the staff were so smiley and friendly and made us feel right at home,… The receptionists… also the staff in the bar next door was super friendly and gave us a huge Tralee welcome… Richmond we started the trip off on a real high. Breakfast the next morning was just as good such a nice friendly bunch of staff. Fantastic tea and coffee in the room… A fridge if we needed it…
Nothing. I can’t think of one thing I didn’t like..
Very nice staff. Good breakfast
Parking is not easily available No lifts in the hotel so be prepared for stairs
Staff were excellent and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Food really good. Room really comfortable.
No lifts, but staff can be requested to carry luggage up and down

Superb hotel, it really is ‘grand’! Rooms very comfortable, breakfast and service fantastic.
service in restaurant and bar

Very charming. Friendly staff. Bigs rooms with comfortable beds and good quality bedding.
Location was excellent. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by a very happy and efficient receptionist we knew we had picked an excellent Hotel. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide choice of dishes on the menu served by pleasent staff in a very relaxed dining room. We were served in the bar that night by staff that were happy to be working in the hotel. Good comraderie between staff and all staff were very attentive to all customers.
There was nothing we did not like.
We have stayed here a few times.welove the hotel.Staff lovely, food excellent and room spotless.would recomend to friends and family. The one set back is not having a lift. otherwise perfect ,also great location.
Excellent room layout, and good bathroom. Proper water pressure in showers. Staff friendly.
Couple of gripes about a flickering light-bulb, and an air conditioning unit that sounded like the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, but otherwise nothing.
Parking - Too far away from the hotel
We had a wonderful time in the GRAND HOTEL TRALEE. From the minute I entered the hotel to make reservations I felt at home. Eileen understood and our requirements were met. The stay for the extended Reynolds families was exceptional... all the staff were so good at what they did and even though it was the days of the Rose of Tralee everything was perfect. Thanks to Mr Boyle Junior and Senior and every member of staff for your welcome kindness and hospitality and great food! Forgive me if I mention Eileen again she surpassed our greatest expectations. We may not have won the Rose of Tralee but we certainly were in the best place in town.
Nice comfortable quiet room with a very good bathroom, shower. Nice traditional feel to the hotel. Great breakfast in very pleasant dining room.
Location 5 star and atmosphere the best Tralee had to offer. As a regular visitor with continued high standards the Grand Hotel rarely has an off day. Morning tea and scone is a must here either alone or with friends you won’t find better freshness and value. The staff always welcome you with attention and strive to give you the best table. All doh it can be busy each table offers comfort and privacy within a gay atmosphere. Sunday lunch is a must! Great portions and tasty. The food is so fresh. Lastly if it’s a drink you want you need go nowhere else. Comfortable seating that offers an intimate experience. All in all the grand has it all!! Morning tea effortlessly blends into lunch dinner and evening drinks. Locals and visitors mingle warmly. This place is your one stop for all your requirements.
I was in room 221. Very nicely finished room and bathroom. Air conditioned room. Breakfast was included and excellent. Lovely olde world charm to entrance lobby, dinning and bar area.
My room seemed to have a flat roof and I could hear the rain hoping off it. There were seagulls squawking from 6am in the morning.
Lovely hotel, staff couldnt be more helpful
The hotel is lovely and comfortable. The food in the bar was fabulous.
Its very awkward to find parking around the hotel .

Lovely rooms - food amazing and location excellent

I had a fantastic experience here while attending CPC training. The service is excellent from start to finish, and everyone is incredibly welcoming and helpful. Dick, the owner, Richard, his son, and Eileen their right-hand woman are all fantastic and go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. Their friendly attitude, professionalism, and great customer service really stands out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone l
Loved the location, rooms were fab,
The bed sheets felt like paper... could hear every move that was made. That was the only issue
Modern bedroom that was spotless and extremely comfortable. All of the staff were incredibly attentive and could not do enough for us. The location is superb and central. The bar downstairs had fabulous food and a wonderful atmosphere for evening drinks with live music. This was my second time to stay and I highly recommend the Grand Hotel. Will definitely be returning again!

The Grand Hotrl is a brilliant hotel - accommodation super + comfortable. Staff very friendly welcoming + efficient. The food is excellent + good entertainment every night. Definitely make their guests feel welcome + special. .
Absolutely fabulous hotel. Food is gorgeous and staff are so helpful and friendly. We were here for Rose of Tralee but will most definitely be back again and would have no hesitation staying here. It’s central and right in the heart of Tralee. Kerry people are awesome as well and so welcoming
Old friendly Ambiance and food
More disabled facilities
Location Clean
My card for room didn’t work on the 2nd day and I have to go to reception There should be emergency contact number if any such issue arises
hotel is beautiful, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and its in the center of town, perfect location....I always go to the grand hotel, during day, however my night experience, was let down by one man, behind the bar....it was what I witnessed which was appalling...he was a big man, with glasses, possibly a bar manager....he was publicly and constantly shouting and roaring at staff, even into their faces, having long loud rants at them...he was holding empty guinness glasses in his hand at same time, and it splattered all over my cream top and my phone...he wasnt even aware....his abuse of staff not acceptable, he was irish, they were mostly foreign looking, and I would call it racism....many customers were shaking their heads with disgust...I hope the owners of the grand hotel, please take note of this....because this is not acceptable....
The not so Grand Hotel. Me and my family had a family meal here Saturday 15th August as we did last year on the day of the Rose parade. Last year everything was fantastic food was fabulous staff were friendly and efficient, but as they say what a difference a year makes. We sat at about 6.15 order was taken promptly starters arrived soon after had to ask for our drinks a second time 4 times for a jug of blackcurrant for the kids. After an hour we had to ask were our main course was and this was after I was elbowed in the back 4 times while holding a six month old baby in my arms. I nearly got my head taken off by a waiter with a menu and then to make matters worse when the main course finally started to arrive the waiter hit my 10 year old Autistic son on the side of the head with a square edge plate. As it was our main course we didn't just get up to leave we let the kids enjoy there meal and didn't order desserts or more drinks. I was then handed the bill for the table next to us not mine and when my wife went to pay the bill she explained to the receptionist what had happened and either a manager or proprietor came to speak to her and offered to knock €36 from the bill it should have been 156 but the lady said she would leave it at 120 to which the lady seemed to think it was justified no amount of money would have made up for our special son been hit in the head with a plate. We were out to enjoy a family meal on our holidays and it was ruined by the above mentioned incidents and we would have spent alot more than the 156 as we would have had more drinks and desserts for all 6 of us but we just wanted to finish our meal and get out of there. As my wife explained we will never step foot in the hotel again staff are obviously completely under trained and ignorant. Avoid at all costs
Staff very friendly
No lift but they had staff to bring your bags to the room
The room was great, very clean, the staff was helpful and the location is great.
Great staff
Had no immediate parking but the hotel got us a spot in the carpark behind
Fabulous staff, great food
All great
Breakfast was excellent as was location Everything was excellent Could use an elevator
Exceeded expectations
Super bella e super staff
Great location very comfortable good facilities great breakfast and lively bar
Location ideal, staff really pleasant, rooms large, comfortable, and clean.
Nothing to complain about.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was very central and convenient, and the room was clean, with very comfortable beds. I also really appreciated having complimentary water in the fridge. The breakfast was excellent, with so much choice available. The only thing to mention is that there isn't a car park at the hotel, although there is one just around the conner, only few minutes walk away, so it was still quite convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily return.
Location is perfect
I left my phone charger and cable behind. When I emailed to organise collection I was told that no one had found it. Also the bathroom had a very musty smell.and no extractor fan.
It was very central for our stay
The other two rooms that we booked were very small
Great location, easy parking, very friendly and helpful staff, modern clean and comfortable room and excellent breakfast
Nothing
Very very nice accomodation, one of the best on our trip around the west of ireland. Everything was Perfect (people, diner, breakfast). We will come again :-)
Good hotel in a great location. Bar is nice and the staff were very pleasant. The room was really nice however it got really warm at night and the air conditioning was not working. Breakfast was very average which was disappointing considering the price.
L'ambiance et le pub dans l'hôtel
Great location. Room clean, comfortable and modern. Lovely shower in the bathroom… great pressure!
Pulizia impeccabile, camera spaziosa, staff top, colazione e bar ottimi
Location is brilliant, right on the town itself. Last minute but was accommodate. Bed was no good too hard, room was too small, the value is not worth it.
12 of my friends and I stayed in the Grand Hotel, all visiting from different locations around the world. Richie looked after every single one of us, and made sure check-in was all smooth. The rooms were amazing, and the service was fantastic. If you’re staying in Tralee this has to be your number one option. I will 100% be back next year!
The staff, location, comfort, and food were second to none.
Nothing, it was all lovely.
Our overall stay was excellent. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast options each morning were amazing. The staff was always available and helpful, even helping us get free parking during the entirety of our stay in Tralee. I would stay there again without hesitation.
The room was a bit too hot during the night, and the windows could barely open, but it was bearable all the same.

Eat here regularly and happy to recommend. Extensive menu so something to suit everyone and the set menu is augmented by daily specials. So many of the staff are there for years which speaks volumes for the friendly and helpful atmosphere of the place. Scones are a treat and are justifiably popular with as many sold out the hatch as are consumed on site. Keep up the good work.
