Es ist ein kleines familiengeführtes Hotel und das merkt man auch. Es war nie hektisch, das Frühstück so gemütlich wie zu Hause . Und es gab Extra Tipps vom Besitzer bezüglich Fahrradtouren.

Fantastisk service, fräscht rum och mycket välstädat. Bra & nyttig frukost samt jättebra restaurang för andra måltider. Väldigt trevlig personal samt ägare som besöker varje gäst under varje måltid för att säkerställa att allt är bra.

Lite varmt utan AC men så är det tyvärr på nästan alla hotell i Schweiz

The hotel is beautiful, well situated, and the staff is very kind and attentive. We loved the breakfast lineup and dinner was among the best meals we had our entire trip. Even more, the staff went out their way to save our trip and I cannot thank them enough. My wife and I were on a town to town hiking trip and we left critical medicine in the hotel's freezer. The staff needed to drive a significant distance in order expedite shipping, so that the medicine would arrive safely at our next hotel. We cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond. That is Ritz Carlton service at a beautiful local boutique. Very special place.

It is very nice and clean property. When we get to the room , we were nicely surprise to see personal note to us wishing us a nice stay, candles and cookies and a vase of fruites. It was personal and touchy .

The hotel is beautiful surrounding by the mountains located in a quiet town. It’s short drive to all the attractions nearby. The dinner was extremely delicious, we really enjoyed our stay!

На рецепції постійно є приємні дрібниці для гостей — свіжі фрукти, прохолодна вода з лимоном та холодний чай, що особливо тішить у спеку. У номері нас також чекали фрукти та цукерки — дуже приємний комплімент. Прибирання проводиться щодня, все чисто й охайно. Сніданки смачні та доволі різноманітні, проте асортимент практично не змінюється щодня, що з часом трохи набридає. Загалом — гарний готель для комфортного відпочинку, з приємним сервісом і турботою про гостей.

У номері відсутній кондиціонер, тому в спекотну погоду перебувати та спати в номері дуже некомфортно. Також паркування при готелі є платним — 5 франків за добу, що варто враховувати при бронюванні.

Great central location, 2 mins walk to train station and surrounded by restaurants. The staff were exceptional and extremely friendly and the rooms have spectacular views of the mountains.

Despite being located almost directly across from the Meiringen railway station, our first‑floor room (facing the side) was very quiet, even with the window open at night. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the gondola lift (Gondelbahn) to Hasliberg. The room and bathroom were spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a cozy lounge downstairs where you can relax and read, with hot tea and fresh water available at all times. Breakfast was excellent and thoughtfully prepared. The restaurant and bistro were warm and inviting, and the food was delicious. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to others.

Beautifully updated mountain hotel in a great location near local attractions. Simon, the owner, was exceptional from check-in through departure, always making sure we were enjoining our stay and offering activity suggestions for the day. Morning breakfast selection was great with a buffet and a la carte options. Gentleman during the breakfast shift was always kind and attentive. The room had everything you could possibly need and felt very well appointed. Modern and not overly done, but warm with an alpine charm. Our only regret was not dining at the hotel restaurant more often. We went once and it was the best meal of our trip. Highly recommend making time for dinner there.

We had such a lovely stay at Victoria Hotel. Franziska and Simon have created a place that feels warm and personal with a touch of luxury. Simon is also the chef, and the food was honestly incredible. Dinner felt relaxed and cozy, quality was outstanding. Great wine selection including local Swiss wines. In the morning, the fresh, generous breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. The ski bus leaves every half hour from a bus stop located literally right across the street. What makes this small hotel stand out is the genuine hospitality. Simon was always present — greeting us, checking in, offering local advice. He even helped our 10-year-old wax his skis, which became the highlight of the trip. Aside from the steak he proudly ordered from the grown up menu :) The rooms at Victoria Hotel are simple and fairly small, but very cozy. Ours gave us an immediate "aaaahh" feeling: two kinds of pillows, a comfortable Queen size bed and a fold-out sofa for our son. A Nespresso coffee machine (the better kind) was another nice touch. A gentle night light, which automatically comes on if you get up during the night. Many thoughtful, lovely features to make the stay comfortable for guests. Our room looked out over the Meiringen ice skating rink, and it was such a pleasure watching kids skate to music in the afternoons. If I had to suggest one tiny change: swapping the dark grey towels for classic white ones would make the bathrooms feel even fresher. We left feeling very well looked after — and very well fed. Will definitely be back.

Sehr gute Lage, mitten im Dorf, in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Skibushaltestelle vor dem Hotel. Modernes und trotzdem gemütliches Hotel. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, wobei die Eierspeisen individuell zubereitet werden (ohne Aufpreis). Auch das Nachtessen (à la carte) war hervorragend (inkl. Service). Der Gastgeber begrüsst seine Gäste nicht nur beim Abendessen sondern auch beim Frühstück - habe ich selten erlebt.

Naja, eine Nespresso-Maschine ist ja mittlerweile fast Standard (sogar in ***Häusern), aber eigentlich haben wir sie nicht vermisst - der Frühstücksraum war ja nicht weit weg. Dafür gab's Süssigkeiten und Früchte auf dem Zimmer, eine schöne Aufmerksamkeit.

Geärgert hat uns, dass der Hotelpreis 2 Tage vor unserer Anreise voll belastet wurde, obwohl auf der Buchungsbestätigung stand, keine Vorauszahlung. Das Hotel ist zu teuer. Das Zimmer zu klein und die dunklen Insektenschutzgitter stören.

Very nice hotel, the only issue is the price a bit high, we paid around 245 Euros for 1 night.

We visited as a family for a short skiing break. The hotel is super clean, and the dining is spectacular. We didn’t go to any other restaurants during our stay: the food is great, staff is attentive and kind, what else does one need on vacation. Where Simon and Franziska came through was when my wife had a knee injury while skiing. They went above and beyond, calling the pharmacy on Sunday to have them open for emergency supplies for us, ensured we had plenty of ice, and even offered to drive us to the pharmacy or to the local doctor if we can’t make it there by ourselves (we traveled without a car rental). They said we could call them any time during the night if there’s an emergency (we didn’t take them up on this generous offer). In short, Simon and Franziska showed genuine care for our well-being. If we are ever in this part of the world again, wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. Everything was perfect, the hotel is tiny but you feel like home. The owners are kind and friendly as well as the staff. The dinner was outstanding and I appreciated that the chef came to ensure guests had a pleasure experience with his food. I definitely recommend this place.

It is a stylish boutique hotel, it feels brand new and luxurious. The room and hotel in general is super clean, the room is comfortable and comes with some extras like fruit and Toblerone bites, the breakfast is wonderful, the location is spot-on next to the railway station. Very good communication by email before the stay, including a guest card.

Elegant and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely food. Very handy for either exploring nearby hikes or for getting the train to elsewhere.

Meiringen itself is small and some restaurants and cafes and mountain lifts were closed on some days because it was September. Fortunately dinner in the hotel was very good.

Stayed at the Victoria Hotel for 2 nights in mid-August. The rooms are modern, and the bathroom was large. We very much enjoyed breakfast, dinner, and the cakes in the afternoon. The Victoria website advertises extensive hiking recommendations, but the woman on duty during our visit wasn't helpful when were were deciding whether to hike at Reichenbach Falls or the Rosenlaui Gorge. Also, guests should be aware that the hotel isn't air conditioned. It was 86F/30C during our visit, and the room was uninhabitable during the day; the hotel should provide fans. Despite these issues, we liked the hotel and would stay there again, perhaps at a cooler time of year.

It was clean and rooms were large. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Nice offer of fruit in the room. Location is convenient if you’re connecting between cities, but there isn’t much in the town.

It was extremely expensive for the amenities and general hotel. We spent the same price per night at another hotel which was far superior. Also lack of AC / ventilation was a bit rough during the heat wave. Very little food options around.
