Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Motel. Moderne Zimmer. Riesige, wunderbare Betten. Hebt sich von vielen anderen Motels am Lake Superior ab.

Ein Pub/Laden wäre schön.

Tolle Lage, super nette Rezeption! Sauber, man kann gut vor dem Zimmer sitzen.

Vielleicht sind die Zimmer etwas klein und der Preis vielleicht etwas zu mutig.

Renovated but you can tell that it was not 100 % done right, poor ventilation and bathroom door was falling off the hinges.Reception was cold, not overly friendly.

The cleanest place i have ever stayed. Loved every minute of my stay there.

Lage etwas von der Strasse abgesetzt, d.h. absolut ruhig in der Nacht. Gleich über die Strasse ist ein richtiges Restaurant vorhanden.

Room was very nicely updated and very clean. Loved that we could sit outside our room to enjoy the beautiful weather. I was very thankful that the office staff provided me with a wine glass to enjoy a glass of wine.

The room decor is charming and the appointments are more than adequate.

Although the room did cool off at night, air conditioning during the day would have been nice.

The room was spacious and well appointed, with all one would need for a stay.Coffee machine was good. Beds were comfortable, quiet location in a beautiful area.

Everything is absolutely amazing! 10+ exceeds all expectations. Impeccable attention to details!! This is truly a hidden gem. We have been on the road for 30+ days stayed 12 location nothing compares for this price point.

Décor enchanteur dans un lieu inusité, juste assez loin de la Transcanadienne pour ne pas entendre le bruit des voitures, mais juste assez près pour ne pas perdre de temps à chercher l'endroit. Formidable, quoi!

We were situated in a beautiful treed area and there was a wonderful screened pagoda.

I did get asked three times if I had pets (which was no each time). Then I noticed cameras on the front desk that overlooked the parking lot to ensure that there were no pets, etc. On the flip side, it would ensure no break-ins of vehicles overnight However should tenants be notified of this when you check in?

loved the beds. Super comfy with some great coverings. love the little bear pillow!!! We also had a very long day and got in super late. We were accommodated with a convenient check in and even a late check out. It gave us a lot of peace of mind and set us on the next leg of our journey in a great frame of mind. Looking forward to staying again on the way back through.

Scenic rest stop. Amazing value. Clean. This is my second time staying here while driving from northwestern Ontario to Ottawa. This way I get to wake up and drive some of the prettiest stretch of the highway first thing in the morning.

No fans in the room. I've never stayed during crazy summer heat, but the addition of fans would make this already fantastic spot even better.

Everything but the unexpected bass heavy alarm from a neighbouring room at 5 am..

The room was very clean. The staff was very accommodating. I arrived at minutes to twelve, midnight, and the staff waited for my arrival. This was above and beyond.

The room was absolutely lovely and sparkling clean. It was charming and nicely appointed.

Very clean property and rooms. The renovations and decor were cozy and modern. The room size is generous which adds nicely to your comforts. Parking right outside your door, good lighting inside and out.

I found the mattress to be uncomfortable, it lacked support and I could feel springs. I would recommend having a fan in bathroom to help clear moisture when showering. Its great that they have a common area for use of microwave but it would be best to have one in each room.

Newly renovated rooms were very nice. Easy access off of the highway. Tom checked us in and was very friendly. Location was quiet.

Thermostat in the room was set on 12 degrees, so the room was cold when we checked in. Took a while for it to warm up. Our stay was on April 22, ambient temperatures were cool.

I've stayed here numerous times on the way from Ottawa to Thunder Bay and it's always a great stay. Clean and organized and the person at the office is lovely!

You can tell the motel has been recently renovated and done nicely. Great stay.

The curtains in the bathroom are see through, could use a blind. Bath also needs a fan, the heat and steam when we opened the door made the smoke detector go off. Overall they are minor things.

The staff were so friendly. Love the decor! Gave it a very “homey” feel.

Water pressure. Not the fault of the motel. It’s the part of Ontario. Other hotels I’ve stayed at have the same issue.

Our room was very cosy, comfortable and nicely decorated. It also looked like the bathroom was recently renovated. Beds were comfortable and we would definitely stay there again.

It’s a bit of the ways out of Wawa and restaurants.

A little expensive for what was offered and for just a place to lay my head while we continued our travels.

This is our second stay here and we will always choose this Motel if we all possible. We feel like the guest rooms have been beautifully appointed and cared for as if the carer was looking after their own home.

The only thing I would have loved (and it’s just our personal preference) is a hand held shower head. As well, a safety bar in the shower would have been lovely. BUT we have never been in a cleaner bathroom in a hotel/motel EVER and we really appreciate that.
