Great place to stop on our travels. Room was clean and comfortable. Extra bonus was glass wine glasses for an after drive drink.

We enjoyed our stay, we loved the red coffee maker and the bicycle sugar/tea caddy…as well as the smart TV. The towels were clean and soft. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable..thanks!

I received a warm welcome upon my arrival. My room was neat, clean, fresh and cozy! It was clear that they pay a meticulous eye on every detail from the arrangement of furniture to the placement of accessories. My only regret is not staying there longer! It's also safe for solo travellers. Thanks for making my stay at Parkway worthwhile!!

I enjoyed all aspects of the parkway motel. For the moment I stepped from my vehicle I was assailed with the smell of fresh flowers and clean purified air from forest around. The owner was very friendly, and although there didn't seem to be any readily available food delivery services, the town - Wawa I believe - was really close by. The photos posted by the hotel are extremely accurate. And I'm not exaggerating when I say that tap water is the best water I've tasted in my entire life. I'm in my 50s, and I grew up in the countryside, not with city tap water, so saying this location has unbelievably crisp, clear, cold, tasteless - as it should be - water is actually saying something. I may be spending a little too much time on the water at this point, but I filled every water bottle I had in my car, because the parkway Motel was just one of many stops for me on my way to Calgary. The room couldn't possibly have been any cleaner. And the room with the shower and toilet, as well as the room with the mirror and sink each have their own window that opens to allow any fresh air.

There is absolutely nothing about this location to dislike. I could likely go on and on, but I did only stay one night, and the purpose I booked it was to rest, and resting I did. The bed was very comfortable, which was definitely needed because of previous night I didn't sleep so great at a different location.

Wonderful little gem near Lake Superior! Fantastic staff and friendly, warm host. Property is well loved and magnificently taken care of. The room was clean and so peaceful! Can’t wait to return with my partner and our kids!!!

One of the nicest and cleanest places we have stayed at on our Croos-Canada trip. Very kind and profeesional service. Room was exceptionally clean and really well appointed. The grounds reflected a pride of ownership. Something lackoing in many properties these days. Covered gazebo and propane bbq's available for guests.

The staff were great, the room was clean and quiet. Inside the room it almost had more of a hotel feel rather than a motel feel, as they provided some really nice amenities. The bathroom looked more high end than was expected for a motel. It was very close to the town of Wawa. We were even able to stream channels that we don’t normally get at home.

Parkway Motel engendered a nostalgic feeling during our stay. It is a traditional, independent roadside motel – but it is thoroughly up-to-date, clean, and. comfortable. Outside the door of each room was a small patio table and chairs, which allowed us to enjoy the fresh air during our stay. Moreover, there is a lovely lawn on the other side of the parking lot and barbecues available.

It took a little effort to navigate the television setup, but we finally figured out how to get what we wanted on the screen. And my nose was a little sensitive to the fragrances on the linens.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. This motel room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. They provided extras i.e. corkscrew, rags were available in case needed. The bathroom included makeup remover, q-tips, file, and special make-up remover wash cloths. Nice bedding. Comfortable bed. Fantastic shower head spray.

Nothing could have been better. We were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend.

The location was great right on the highway, easy to drive in and lots of room to park. The check-in was easy and pleasant. The room was very clean and well organized. Obviously a lot of thought was given to guest comfort. This is by far the nicest Motel I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Simple refurbished basic motel. Trying to support local small business but was quickly disillusioned.

We booked this thinking it was pet friendly. Apparently only certain rooms are. We were not made aware. We arrived at 10 pm after a 10 hour drive and left by 8:00 am to continue for another 12 hours of driving. We had our medium sized very clean and quiet dog with us. Left the room tidy ang clean after all we were only there to sleep. Everything seemed fine until several days later when I looked at my credit card statement to find that the owner had charged my credit card an additional $226 for apparently needing to shampoo the rug in a small very low end motel room. I have never had such a thing happen ever before, and thought it was fraud. Visa is pursuing this on our behalf as is booking.com as they were never authorized to do so. I was told that this has become a common place event where hotels and car rental companies try to tack on additional charges for made up reasons and try to get away with it. What a scam. I tried to speak with the owner and offered to pay any additional standard pet fee which typically ranges from $10/night (super 8) to $35 a night at a Fairmount. But she’s been dodging my calls. This place charged me $226!!!! What a scammer, maybe business is slow and this is how she’s trying to make extra money ??? Avoid at all cost ! So much for trying to support small local businesses.

It was very clean, and we loved the vibes of the room. It really made you feel like you’re in northern Ontario with all the wood and style of the bedding. The woman who checked us in was super friendly and warm! Would 100% recommend to others!

This is by far the best motel we’ve ever stayed in! Comfortable beds, its’s very clean and the modern cabin-like decor is fantastic. It’s such a nice change from dated motels. The owner was very accommodating with a late-night check-in after a long day of traveling. We appreciated the coffee, chocolate, candy and the ceramic mugs were a nice touch. It’s the little things in life that bring a smile to one’s heart.

I didn't dislike anything per se. Just watch the turn into the parking lot if you're ripping down the highway - it kind of comes out of nowhere. :) There aren't any services on site, but that's ok - it's a small place. I think they would make some good $$ if they offered a laundry service.

Loved the location, easy access, exceptionally clean and unique rooms designed for persons on the road (great size of the fridge with mini freezer, microwave, great step-in-bath/shower, fresh, clean all around (wonderful sheets, pillows, decoration, thoughtful light switches and electric plugs on the radios, spacious, with guest chairs and clean glasses on the table. The fresh autumn air was exceptional, and the hosts stayed up and accommodated us despite our delay in arriving (4 hours!). We highly recommend the property, very grateful for a bit of home away from home, will visit again for longer stay without hesitation!

Nothing you are able to help with when it comes to outside noise as the cabins are directly from the parking lot and it is natural to hear people moving/transferring in/out. It made for a nice comradery with people on the move, and share/learn about experiences in the area!

I stayed here two weeks prior on my way to Saskatchewan and liked it so much that I stayed again on my way back to Ontario. The room had everything you could need. It was clean and very comfortable.

We have been driving around Lake Superior and so far this has been our favorite place to stay. Property looks maintained, rooms were anice size, all the appliances work, staff was very friendly. Decent places to eat nearby, great location near provincial parks. Highly recommend and will stay again when in the atea.
