Reviewed Aug 30, 2026This is our time staying at High Falls, and this cabin too was efficiently beautiful, comfortable and clean. It had everything we would've needed for a longer stay. The location is perfect for us: a short drive East of Wawa, just off the highway, and not far from a great beach where we could give the dogs a bit of a run to stretch their legs after the long time in the car.
Because there are no restaurants around, we have to drive back into Wawa to get something for breakfast before continuing East. Also, we've noticed they had to put their price up quite a bit but it's still a place. I would be happy to stay in again.

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and had all the ammenities needed for a break from camping. Beautiful and tranquil grounds, perfect place to unwind.

Tiny detail. Coffee was an excellent nespresso vertigo machine but one of the two pods provided was a sweet vanilla and neither of us drink that stuff. Would have preferred just two straight coffees. Having said that one can buy more coffees at the office so this is a nano tiny detail!

We were stopping here on a motorcycle trip and planned one night before continuing on and I wish we had planned to stay another day. Super cool, calm, peaceful property and the cabins were awesome. I want to come back.

Unfortunately, we had to skip out around 2:30 on Thursday morning, cause I got a call saying that my daughter was in ICU at the hospital. We left a quick note for the staff, and she contacted me the next day thanking us for explaining why we left, and wished us the best of luck with my daughter. They also recommended an amazing restaurant for supper. We loved everything that we ordered. Amazing location, amazing staff, amazing restaurant. Thank you. Vera

We drove in late and it was dark so we missed the driveway right off the highway -- my only suggestion would be to place a clearer sign with a light maybe to keep people from driving right by and having to go through Michipicoten an extra 10 min! Otherwise, a perfect stay 😊

Mattress was older, thin and a bit of a swayback. Tub shower was very slippery, almost wiped out getting out. Toilet was sandwiched tightly between the sink and the wall. I’m a big guy, 6’7” 250 lbs. Without getting into too much detail, I had trouble using the toilet.

We arrived in the dark and the entrance was a little different to see. A light at the entrance off Hwy 17 would help.
