Breakfast was excellent
Had no problems l
Great location and great service
Staff were exceptionally helpful giving the place a homely feel - the breakfast waiter remembered me and anticipated what I wanted to eat. Coffee was excellent. I had dinner in every evening and it was always good to excellent. The room was comfortable and everything as it should be.
The hotel had a retro feel which I liked, but it was also a bit on the scruffy side with odd bits of maintenance required here and there. Having said that, there was nothing that I really "didn't like". A few more parking spaces would have been good.
Food was good, staff were excellent
Beds were not comfortable, the bathrooms are dated. Bath showers are a huge safety issue for older people
Friendly staff. That was about it to be honest. not a whole lot to say.
Very expensive, €280 for one night, very average facilities, very old, old showers room, and the whole hotel was pretty dates, would not recommend.
Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Frühstück war klassisch irisch und gut. Das Abendessen war auch sehr gut.
Die Erdgeschosszimmer rochen etwas muffig - feucht.
Room was excellent
Only a bath need a walk in shower We are elderly
Staff were fantastic
Furnishings and rooms were old and in need of updating
Nothing, only staff was cooperative
Un cleaned, smelly carpets , uncomfortable mattress
Food is very nice
It was clean and comfortable. I do like the entrance with all the plants and the greenery. The breakfast was lovely though it was 14 euro.
Maybe make the breakfast a little cheaper. I mean it was nice but the hotel is close to town and there are places with similar breakfast but cheaper. People are paying for their room anyway.
Very good food and bar area. Staff incredibly helpful.
Had to move bedroom shortly after arrival due to bathroom door stuck shut. Both rooms very dated and smelt damp. It looks as if some bedrooms have been updated and refurbished but neither of the two we had were despite having booked in May.
Great food, good service in a unique setting, huge bedroom with a comfortable bed.

I enjoyed the location, and dinner in the dining room was good. The staff in both the reception area and the dining room were excellent.
Noisey plumbing! I could hear other guests using their showers and toilets.
Staff are very friendly. Food is outstanding!
Our visit was too brief.
The food was excellent we had dinner in the bar and it was excellent .I liked the location because when we crossed the bridge the bridge we were right at the dark.
I did not like the fact that when we were checking in on the Friday evening there was another couple checking in and they had got the same type room and the same services for 30 euro cheaper than we had. I felt like the guy in the Trivago. Maybe I should have checked Trivago.
This has lovely guesthouse vibes. I was traveling alone and it was homely and convenient.
Facilities aren’t modern if that is what you’re after.
Location and easy parking.
Lack of a proper bar to sit at.
Beautiful Surroundings .Breakfast very good Waiter always helpful.
Water flow in shower and sink almost non existent Small cups no spoons or saucers Coffee machine with only expresso no sachets for a decent cup of coffee.Asked for early morning call to catch ferry did not happen the Guy on Reception said he called our room told him phone did not ring surly one would knock on the door if no response to call .Shower cubicle was extremely small and water was cold.
We loved it. Great place. Great people
The shower had no power. Water was Hot but only a trickle came out. We advised reception desk
Food was exceptional both brekki n dinner hands dwn. Best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel n Wev stayed n 5* hotel n ur breakfast was by far d best ever keep ur chef there
Bathroom shower hard 2 get on n awkward getting in n out of bath 2 use shower no
Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the lady on reception who helped us sort out an issue with the in room TV. Food was very good in the restaurant and breakfast service tasty with attentive service. We were directed to a parking space on arrival which was appreciated as there was a festival nearby which seemed busy
Decor dated and hairdryer broken and stained in our room (211)
Nice staff and a great bar restaurant.
Very comfortable large bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The property was a little tired looking.
The girl at reception was lovely. Nothing was a problem for her. Think it was a manager we spoke to he was nice too..location was only 10 min walk
The girl at reception was lovely. Nothing was a problem for her. Think it was a manager we spoke to he was nice too..they young ones at the bar Saturday night, had no personality to work behind a bar..the beer garden, could do with a good clean, very dated hotel and rooms are 1970..TV could not get reception, we were told move around the wires that were hanging down, the cups in room were dirty, the hair dryer, must of been there since hotel was built, white plastic thing, wire half rotten on it..entrance has flowers and tree ,but could do with a tidy up..we paid 260 for the night ,no breakfast included.
Lovely location lovely outdoor seating .The staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble .Food was delicious good varied menu .

Good location. Traditional hotel that's clean and comfortable. Good food in the restaurant.

Great location with views over the river
Limited parking for customers.
Lovely spot across from Wexford centre. Really comfortable. Welcoming staff and good communication. Easy parking. Very happy.
Location was lovely beside the river and a short walk into town. The staff were excellent and Finn(?) on reception was exceptional when I needed to find an alternative hotel as I had mixed up our arrival date. Very grateful to Finn for going above and beyond to help us out on an extremely busy weekend in Wexford. Food in the bar/restaurant was excellent and service very good.
The only reason this rating was a 9/10 instead of 10/10 was due to the awful smell in the ground floor corridor, outside the toilet area, that leads to rooms 100-104. The smell was very strong and quite off putting every time we went back and forth to the bedroom. I asked at reception but was told it was unavoidable with so many people visiting the town.
Everything , it was amazing
Not a thing
Très bel établissement, nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le petit déjeuner est fantastique!
Food was excellent and staff
Rooms are run down and carpet dirty and old. Shower was desperate and toilet handle broken
Excellent breakfast fantastic service from the gentleman who served it.
The rooms were tired and could do with a re-furb.

Staff very friendly food very good
The bed room was disgraceful horrible smell off mould full of midnight's insect in bed double bed was 2 singles pushed together 0ne of which was several inches was lower than the other room 102
Breakfast was poor not good value for money - items individually priced
Overall it was a very enjoyable. Fantastic location, staff very friendly, nice atmosphere. Only downside was the shower was scorching hot and room was a bit too warm.
See above.
Wir waren in der ersten Nacht unzufrieden mit der Matratze, daraufhin wurde uns das zweite Frühstück geschenkt und wir bekamen sofort ein neues perfektes Zimmer mit super Matratze.
Die Matratze der ersten Nacht
The hotel is in a great location , food was delicious and the service was amazing .
The bathrooms could really do with been updated , toilet seat was very loose , and the fan in bathroom was very noisy .It was very clean but just outdated
The location was good. Surrounding was beautiful.
It was hot. Probably the hotest weather to visit yet hotel wasnt made for it. Small window for ventilation. No air-conditioning and the fan provided was useless and small.
Close to Wexford town
Decor is simple but stylish, nice nod to the building's art deco past.
No faults to find.
I loved the ambience of this hotel. Its beautiful and so well located with good parking (plenty of paid parking directly opposite if carpark full) and easy access to the town. The food in the restaurant is really excellent and I would suggest dining onsite! We stayed in a twin room and I was amazed how well I slept...the beds were incredibly comfy and the bathroom was nice and spacious.. The staff were absolutely brilliant, ill definitely stay again. Thank you all for a wonderful break!
I have absolutely no complaints! Thank u!
Lovely location. Close to town. Super bed.
All was good
A nice comfortable friendly hotel. Very well located for visiting the town . Nice views and surroundibgs
Excellent food.
The Pillows aren't very comfortable.
Stayed for 4 days and bed linen was not changed once and as it was so hot it should have been, also I was led to believe that it was a walk in shower but it was so small that my 87 year old mother couldn't possibly use the shower as she needs help
Emplacement ambiance accueil bar et bonne restaurant très aimable bo lieu de passage
Beautiful setting. Decor a bit American. Food fabulous.
Just a bit dated, dark like in American hotels. Could do with a more Mediterranean vibe!
Staff were very inviting and very mannered..we were greeted very well on arrival didn't get the ladies name on reception she had short hair and glasses was very helpful and delivered our bags to our roomfor us ..The waiting staff in the bar were very attentive to our table and the food was lovely ..Overall we had a lovely experience ...
We didn't have an issues
The bar at night was very quite music would be good.
Genuine nice non corporate box hotel.
Everything was good, the 8oz steak was amazing in the restaurant Definately will be staying again
A deilitefull setting
I was somewhat surprised that there was a charge of €10 for a late check out. I regularly visit hotels my last being the Clayton in Belfast when I asked for a late check out because my train was 1 pm much like my situation today.,,,
The location and the staff were lovely and accommodated any needs.
The room was not the cleanest. The shower had mould, and the shower head had a heavy build-up of limescale. It also didn’t function properly, spraying water unevenly while the centre of the shower head only dripped, so the water came out mainly from the outer nozzles. The headboard was very dusty, and the room itself also felt dusty, which was particularly problematic as I have a sensitivity to dust. The TV remote barely worked unless I stood on the bed, as the TV was mounted so high that the remote would only register from very close to it. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance of the room did not meet the standard I expected.
The hotel was easy to find, parking reasonably accessible, and the receptionist pleasant.
The town of Wexford is a 10 minute walk across the bridge - fine provided it's dry. However, the hotel itself is rather tired and in need of a refresh. The shower had a strong odour of drains. There is no USB phone charging provision (as several other hotels offer nowadays). Sound isolation is poor, such that doors slammed late at night elsewhere in the building are clearly and disturbingly audible.
Good location, very friendly and pleasant staff.
Old hotel, needs a full renovation. It was maybe a nice hotel in the 80's, but it should not be allowed to be open anymore. The carpet in the hallway and room is smelly, it looks like it was never changed since they open it.
I loved staying at this hotel, yes the hotel is an older hotel but it’s got charm the staff are so lovely friendly and helpful.the location is great you just have to walk over the bridge and your in the town, only issue I had was shower was very small.
Small shower
Really enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast was great. Served at the table.. Hotel was a 10 to 15 min walk to the town centre so excellent location. Friendly staff
Wifi..
The bed and the coffee machine
The room was very outdated and smelled. I did ask to be moved but the other two rooms were worse. We couldn't even hang up our clothes in the wardrobe because it smelled of must. The skirting boards were dirty and the bathroom was cringe worthy.
The location is excellent. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food is very good. The building could do with a refurbishment but all in all very enjoyable and good value for money
Beautiful location. Old building full of character. Comfortable bed and room. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.
The room we were in was near the extractor from the kitchen so was noisy at bedtime and morning when cooking happening.
Amazing staff, 10 out of 10 on friendliness, room was perfect and I have no complaints. The restaurant was amazing the food delicious, location of the hotel was perfect short walk into town and just a great experience in general
The receptionist was lovely and knowledgeable and chatty/friendly, the room was huge!(original bridal suite I was told when I was checking out), food in the River Bar Restaurant was so excellent we ate there BOTH Znights instead of going back across river to town!
Nil!
Location was good the staff was very helpful and friendly .
Very limited car parking. Room very dated and stuffy . Expensive for the price look great on the pictures.
