קודם כל השירות. אין דברים כאלה. ידידותיים, חמים, מסבירי פנים, ממש נותנים הרגשה של בית. המלון מקסים, יש בו הרבה עתיקות, גינון מהמם, ממוקם מעל הים, חוף פרטי לבן ונעים. חדרים קצת קטנים, אבל מיטות נוחות מאוד. מקלחת נוחה. במרחב המלון ישנה גלריית אמנות מהממת, וקומת קריאה עם מאות סרטים להשאלה.

הגודל של החדר קצת קטן, ופינת השתייה נמצאת בתוך הארון. זה החסרון היחיד שמצאתי.

Jeder Tag im Amarela war wundervoll und am liebsten wären wir nie abgereist. Jede Ecke und jeder Gegenstand hier ist liebevoll, geschmackvoll und praktisch gestaltet. Wir kamen aus dem Staunen nicht mehr raus. Es handelt sich um eine relativ kleine Anlage, der es an nichts fehlt. Am zauberhaften Pool waren wir oft alleine und der Blick aufs Meer von dort ist wunderschön. Der Privatstrand ist klein und fein, mit ausreichend Liegen für die vergleichsweise wenigen Gäste. Hier gibt es keine fliegenden Händler oder störende Musik. Einfach herrlich. Das Person ist absolut herzlich. Sie halten das ganze Gelände jeden Tag in einem super Zustand und begrüßen einen Morgens mit dem gleichen herzlichen Lächeln mit dem sie uns Abends nach dem Essen verabschiedet haben. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt. Es war, als wäre man bei Freunden. Das Hotel ist sehr nachhaltig, ohne Plastikflaschen. Für Ausflüge konnten wir unsere eigenen Flaschen auffüllen lassen. Besonders empfehlen können wir den vom Hotel organisierten Bootsausflug zu den Delfinen und Schildkröten. Der Preis war völlig okay und das Privatboot wartete um 6.00 Uhr morgens am Privatstrand auf uns. Was für ein Luxus! Unsere Guides haben sich sehr bemüht, die Delfine zu finden - mit Erfolg! An einem Abend haben wir ein private Dinner by the Beach bestellt. Alles war so liebevoll und herzlich arrangiert! Wir werden den Abend und den gesamten Aufenthalt für immer in schönster Erinnerung behalten.

Wenn man unbedingt etwas finden möchte, dann wäre es vielleicht das: Die abendliche Beleuchtung im Restaurant hätte ein bisschen stilvoller/gemütlicher sein dürfen. Essen und Service waren hervorragend! Auf unserem Balkon hätten uns zwei Stühle mit Lehne und kleinem Tischchen besser gefallen als die Bank mit dem relativ großen Tisch.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Amarela Resort in Panglao. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen, ruhig und etwas abgelegen – perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Zimmer sind wirklich toll, mit hochwertiger Ausstattung und stilvoller Einrichtung. Generell ist das gesamte Hotel mit wunderschönen Möbeln ausgestattet und hat einen ganz besonderen Charme. Auch der Strand hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und ausgesprochen nett, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich angenehm gemacht hat. Insgesamt haben wir die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Der einzige Punkt, der uns nicht ganz überzeugt hat, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Trotz der wirklich schönen Anlage empfinden wir den Preis als etwas zu hoch. Alles in allem dennoch ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einem besonderen Resort.

It was an amazing property. Every single one of the staff said hello every time our paths crossed. There was so much attention to detail and it was all beautifully crafted. The beachfront was idyllic and as well as the beds and umbrellas there was also table tennis, badminton and pétanque The pool was beautifully sited and a great temperature The restaurant had an equally great view and the breakfast was simple and well-presented. The grounds were lovely.

The wifi never works in our room and in specific areas. The staff said it was fixed but it was not.

The employees are very kind and authentic. They did everything to make us comfortable and they are very caring and hospitable. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. There was also a lot of hot water and great shower pressure. Beautiful view of the sea and the pool.

Schön ruhig gelegen mit Pool und Strandzugang. Deutlich schöner als Alona Beach, aber ist mittels Tricycle gut zu erreichen Abends zum Essen. Automieten für einen Tag ging problemlos und war super, um Bohol zu erkunden. Bei früher Abfahrt zur Fähre haben wir ein leckeres packed Breakfast bekommen.

Relativ teuer, vor allem in Vergleich zu anderen mindestens gleich schönen Unterkünften auf den Philippinen.

Ein Resort aus purem Einheimische Bau und Kunsthandwerk wunderbare einheimisch Holzarten und kunstvolle Steinplatten und Materialen geben ein wohnlichesc Ambiente. geschmackfolles Einheimisches Mobiliar und tratitionelle Volkskunstwerke dekorieren das ganze Hotel.überall. Der Privatszrand ist sauher und ortentlich mit bestes gepolszerzen Liegestühlen grosse schone Sonnenschirme. Ein wunderbareas exotischer Garten ziert den ganzen Resort.

Die Essensportionen sind eher klein das Pesonal könnte zum teil etwas Gastfreundlicher agieren. Zum Schnorcheln am Hotelstrand nichtvaraktiv

Wunderschönes kleines feines Resort in antiken Räumlichkeiten abseits vom Trubel mit tollem Garten. Super tolle, freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Direkte Strandlage mit vorgelagertem Riff, Kanuboote, Schnorchelausrüstung und Spiele am Strand umsonst verfügbar. Eigenes Restaurant sogar mit vegetarischer Karte und guter Küche. Ein kleines Juwel auf Pangloa und wir wären gerne etwas länger geblieben. Auch geeignet mit Kindern am Strand und Pool wurden uns immer Spielsachen und sogar Schwimmärmel zur Verfügung gestellt. Auch sehr angenehme nette andere Gäste.

Für uns nichts. Es ist aber wie gesagt abseits von allem Trubel. Mit Taxi aber alles sehr schnell erreichbar.

El mejor hotel en el que hemos estado jamas. Volveremos. Excelente atencion, servicio, personal e instalaciones. Playa paradisiaca, piscina espectacular. Decoracion cuidada al maximo detalle, centro de arte, antiguedades. Buena comida. Rincones con encanto. Una maravilla. Ubicacion lejos del bullicio pero a solo 10 minutos de la actividad y el aeropuerto.

При отливе нельзя купаться (учитывайте это), стандартные номера очень скромные и узкие (но даже в них есть балкон), завтраки однообразные, но всегда есть фреши и фрукты, хороший кофе (в целом, так в большинстве отелей, где завтрак по меню), ночью не очень громко гудит трансформатор (или не он, но что-то монотонно гудит). Отель рекомендуем, очень душевное и приятное место!

The hotel has a really nice old style ambience and is perfectly placed next to the beach. My room was lovely, but too expensive for the facilities offered. The staff were very good and tried to be helpful as much as possible. The breakfast was very poor for a hotel costing this much however as there was not the variety one would expect.. The hotel organised a day tour for me and it turned out to be a private tour which was not what I expected. It wasn't so much a "tour"as there was no tour guide .. simply a driver who dropped me off at appointed places. It was further out of Alona beach than I expected but this didn't prove to be a problem as tuk-tuks were readily available. I would recommend it for those wanting a quiet time.

The food was not of high quality. My room was lovely, the 101 room, but too expensive.

Die Anlage mit dem Pool mit Blick aufs Meer ist einfach herrlich. Alle Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und die Handtücher & Beachtowels auf Wunsch erneuert. Man konnte jederzeit kostenlos Wasser holen und für Ausflüge erhielt man Wasser in Plastikflaschen. Der Transfer zur und von der Anlage wurde kostenlos vom Resort organisiert. Nach dem Check-Out kann man die Anlage noch bis zur tatsächlichen Abreise nutzen.

Es dauert etwas bis das Wasser in der Dusche warm wird. Das Doppelbett war für uns (1.80 & 1.90) etwas klein.

From its facility to the staff ... It's a 5 star. Sander - one of the staff from the dining area is awesome. The locals are friendly. We left a piece of our heart in Bohol. Definitely coming back.

The property is maintained very well. We really enjoyed walking the property looking at the amazing trees, plants and flowers! The beach was so relaxing. They cleanup all the seaweed in the morning, making it nice to walk and look at. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our overall experience was amazing!! We will be coming back! The staff was absolutely amazing. Every one was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and so comfy. The food was also really great. The highlight of the hotel has to be the pool and beach area, though. I cannot describe in words how beautiful the area is. I cannot recommend it enough. The pictures do not do it enough justice. Definitely recommend! Also, the owner is super friendly and down to earth. Lovely person. The hotel also has a library, with books and movies in many languages. Amazing! <3

I love everything about Amarela Resort. This quaint boutique resort brought nostalgia when I saw all the antique and art collection. The staff were friendly, gracious and accommodating. The gardens were intentionally designed with a nice energy flow. Hearing the birds serenade while I sipped my tea in the veranda gazing at the great view of the sea, I was transported to paradise. They have an excellent choice of mouth watering food. My family enjoyed eating our meals in the dining hall with great views of the sea. The fragrance of the fiddlewood flowers as we walked towards the beach felt ecstatic. The place is immaculately clean, I didn’t hesitate to walk barefoot. Salamat Amarela for the respite our souls much needed.

Unique and quirky. We loved the art and curios that fill every corner. We loved the art gallery and library. We loved the swimming pool and the beach. And we loved the breakfast and the friendliness of the staff.

The place is beautiful with a gorgeous garden and quirky furniture. The quiet location on a beautiful white sand beach cannot be beat.

The aircon was a little hot. Would love a gym.

We had a great stay! The property is beautiful, with a lovely garden, a nice pool, and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful. Our room was clean, which we really appreciated. The on-site restaurant was excellent — the food was delicious and the service top-notch.

The only downside was the beach: while it’s directly accessible from the hotel, it was unfortunately affected by plastic waste, which seemed to be an issue across the whole region!

Breakfast was great. It was simple continental but it did the job nicely and kept us satisfied. There was a morning where we went dolphin watching super early and they packed breakfast for us thoughtfully.

The restaurant servings were a bit small but it was still delicious. It’s just for the price we expected a bit more.

The resort is really well taken care of and the garden is just stunning. The restaurant is very good and the waiters friendly and helpful.

I had a room with a connection door to another room. I could hear everything people were saying and doing in the other room, which was very uncomfortable.

Everything…the service, the staff, the location, the food and the room. It’s quiet, relaxing place to stay. And if you want to go to Alona it’s just a short tricycle ride for just 200 pesos. I highly recommend the resort

The fridge in the room was very noisy at night and we needed to unplug it in order to get to sleep. Apart from that everything was great.

This is a beautiful hotel, old but very well looked after and maintained. Stunning sea views, and lovely gardens. The food at the restaurant was very good too. Enjoyed our stay very much.

This Hotel should be a 5 star hotel. The staff are so friendly , the food is amazing and the attention to detail is unbelievable ! We couldnt have ended our stay in a better location 10/10 .

Beautiful hotel with amazing garden and amazing pool, very relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant is amazing. Very peaceful and quiet. View is amazing. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The bed is quite small (double bed). It would be nice to have a bar close to the pool and the beach to have a drink at sunset. The art gallery is a bit pointless and the space could be used for a bar. we booked the tour to Balicasag island with the hotel, they could have provide a bit more info on how the tour was going to work.

Even if you “look around the corner” everything is perfect. They thought about useful building materials and designed the area for best possible relaxation. They’re offering a pick up service free of charge for ferry/airport. We asked them for another pick up/drop off location which wasn’t a problem either

Loved my cosy room so much! Beautiful views of the beach, beautiful sunrises. You can hire kayaks and snorkelling gear to go exploring. All the staff are super nice and accomodating. I also enjoyed the extensive dvd collection when I just wanted to chill out in my room :) breakfast buffet was also acceptable !

The shower water pressure could have been stronger in my room. Also noted no lifts but the staff will always help with luggage (didn’t bother me, but just so people are aware for access).

This was our second time visiting Amarela to celebrate our honeymoon, we spent 10 days here. The staff were amazing, beyond the beautiful surrounds - private beach, pool and art museum. We are most happy with the staff, they bent over backwards to ensure we could enjoy vegan meals and we are so grateful! What we enjoyed during our stay was the peace and quiet and spending our time in the beautiful spaces that the staff continuously maintain. We will always come back to Amarela whenever we visit the Philippines!

Two minor things, the laundry is very expensive - we would recommend going into Alona beach to find a place to do your laundry. Second of all, the bathroom seems a little outdated but this was extremely minor and we didn’t consider this an issue

The hotel is eco friendly and built from local products and is quite special . The pool is delightful, perfect temperature and overlooks gardens and the beach . The outdoor massage was very relaxing. There is a white sandy beach, with basic beds that are adequate. You can walk to a few local bars etc. The rooms are comfortable and the property is spotless. We ate at the hotel the first night and the food was very good. It was a 10 mins tuk tuk ride to Alona beach where we spent the other nights , visiting restaurants and bars . The hotel arranged a private driver for us and we visited Lonoc cruise and Chocolate Hills which was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay .

Everything perfect!

Clean lots to like many amenities for kids not too far walk on beach to really nice swimming beach (beach in front can’t really swim). Wouldn’t pay upgrade for room view as most even floor seem to have view and pretty small balconies with tiny bench you don’t want to spend too much time on anyway. Gorgeous property though. Love dvd library and games to play with kids who get bored easily. On whole great would stay again. Only snafu was laundry so expensive and they messed up by not getting back to me in day. But small thing. Great restaurant too.

Beautiful resort

There is no comfortable seating so we didn’t feel inclined to stay in the hotel for evening drinks. Hard upright wooden chairs are particularly uncomfortable, even for the Philippines, and not conducive to relaxing! Even just a small area of the hotel or restaurant with a couple of comfortable chairs would mean that we would spend more money and time in the hotel. The chairs on the balcony were the same so it was not possible to sit on the balcony for long. We also felt that the bed linen was tired and polyester and the food average. Staff were very good but we felt the hotel was poor value for money compared to other places in the Philippines.

Very nice and well decorated hotel. Good rooms size. Good location away from noisy and crowded places. 15 min ride if you will need it. Free transfer to airport or ferry port.

Very slow internet. And disconnecting every time. If you are going to work here or even buy anything online, you will get headache. Also my room wasn’t clean during two days.

Staff were wonderfully helpful. Location was amazing, slice of heaven really. Breakfast options were decent and no complaints. Very good value for money.

Shower temperature was fine, but a little more water pressure would have been perfect. The only fault I can find.

The friendliest staff!! Breakfast is good and so are the restaurant dishes. Private beach access, very relaxing environment, lovely flowers and plants all over, pool is also great.

charming clifftop small hotel in beautiful grounds with excellent food, good amenities and polished staff. Don’t miss the local hot chocolate at breakfast! Recommended tour to Pamilacan Island was really good and snorkelled with lots of turtles.

White sand beach is nice and uncrowded though inferior to Dumaluan and unattractive at low tide; bitey ants at unshaded pool but lots of shady spots to relax in elsewhere.

Location is just gorgeous. The view from the room, restaurant and pool to the sea is just breathtaking. Beach area by the sea also was very peaceful, no people, clean. You could take kayaks free of charge. Staff were very friendly, food was good. Prices were the same as in the restaurants around the Alona beach.

The only downside we could think of, was when we ordered massage to the room and they didn’t have 2 massage tables, so they ended up doing our massage on the bed. So we do not recommend doing that.
