Carpeted floor would be better for warmth, but not essential.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The bed was comfy. Everything worked as expected. Car park right outside the door. Good location. The owner gave us lemons from the garden. The toilet, wash basin and shower are separate so we could use the facilties in tandem. But the whole set up is very old. It's a small, quiet town. No disturbing road noise. Though it's on the river bank, it wasn't particularly scenic. But there are walkways by the river to appreciate whatever there is.
It's a compact room with too much kitchen. Can't imaging staying here for more than a night to use all that kitchen. Could have wardrobes instead.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Awesome shower and heat pump, everything you need for a comfortable stay, close to all amenities town etc.... good value for money. It's not the flashiest, but it served our purpose. Have stayed here multiple times in the past, and will probably return again.

Toilet sliding door was broken also what was the radio looking thing in the wall? Windows were a little dodgy didnt want to open them just incase they fell out all together.

No real problems except the toilet was quite low ... no grab rails or anything to help you get off it. Not so easy for an older person or anyone with knee problems but OK for younger people. No other problems.

The appearance inside the units very dated, Finding a couple of cockroaches a bit annoying. The light switch on one of the bedside lamps faulty, not being able to tell anyone not good. The smoke alarm battery going flat and causing it to beep in the early hours of the morning not good passed message to staff after we removed it so as to sleep nothing was done
