Fabulous B&B located right near Ballybunion Golf Course! Comfortable rooms, great food and wonderful people!
Great hotel and location. Staff was very professional.
Staff and rooms
Kitchen closed
comfortable and spacious room; very close to the golf course and practice facilities and beach. Staff (can't recall his name) was helpful with running suggestions.
slow service in the dining room. Had to ask several times for the same thing and not provide directions that the bill was already billed to the room and we did not need to do anything further (we sat for a long while waiting to sign the bill to the room)
Right next to the golf course and the most lovely people worked there.
Decor was lovely
Separate shower cubicle not having to get into a bath
Came across this gem of a place whilst looking for accommodation just passing through and how lucky we were that there was availability. A warm reception from the lady at the desk was our first indication that this was the right choice This is a quiet relaxed place where you will be well looked after. We didn’t have an evening meal but seen the menu and also some meals being served and it looked delicious. We did use the residents bar.We had breakfast and the quality was exceptional. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The room was spotless, along with the whole establishment. You can tell by the many awards hanging on the walls that they pride themselves in great customer service . It’s right next door to ballybunnion golf course and I’m sure lots of golfers come here for its excellent location but you don’t have to be a golfer to appreciate this gem.
Beautiful guest house. The rooms have everything you need. Very comfortable and quiet. The cost is reflected in the high standards in the room and the breakfast. I would highly recommend this accommodation to friends and family.
Beautiful B and B. Opposite the golf course. Fantastic breakfast and dinner.

It was over priced for the facilities offered.
Close to the golf course, spacious rooms, excellent food, very friendly staff.
If you are playing Ballybunion this is the place to stay. The staff and accommodations are excellent and the food is outstanding. The Ballybunion driving range is across the street and the clubhouse is a 1 minute walk. Incredibly convenient and the rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and well-equipped.
What can I say about this gem of a place to stay, eat and sleep in. Only that It was superb from the time we arrived until we checked out. Greeted by Cian, one of the owners who was so friendly and helpful for the whole of our stay. Our room was top class and so quiet and comfortable. We had dinner also as it was my wife’s birthday, and wow. Just wow. It’s was 10/10. The desert trolley was also out of this world. They have a lovely little bar also and the Guinness and whiskey sours were the best I’ve had. There was piano and a sing song later in the night which was great fun. The bar man was also brilliant. Breakfast the following morning is cooked to order and deliciously fresh and plentiful. All in all this was one of the best stays we have had in Ireland and only an hour and a bit down the road. So treat yourself and your loved one or book a golf trip to Ballybunion and stay in Teach de Broc. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for a great stay. Can’t wait to return.
The place was fabulous. Great family run hotel.Highly recommended
Teach de Broc was the perfect setting for a group of 4 friends attending Listowel Writers Festival. The rooms were finished to a high quality and the meal we enjoyed exceeded all expectations. The real gem of this property is the family welcome. The Brock family are so the ultimate hosts, professional and entertainers. (Doubling up as piano players in the restaurant). I look forward to my next visit there.
The rooms are comfortable and luxurious, the staff are lovely and the breakfast is sumptuous

What a great place to stay. We just loved Teach de Broc and would not hesitate to stay again when we return to Ballybunion. The location can't be beat, the entire family and staff are so friendly, professional, and courteous, and the atmosphere is wonderful. We had both breakfast and dinner and they were excellent - a wide variety of offerings and everything was delicious.
We spent two nights at this hotel that I found on Trip Advisor. What a find! Modern, clean, large rooms with plenty of light and space. If you are a golfer, you can walk across the street to Ballybunion. The hotel will store your clubs. We saw several repeat customers as you are warmly welcomed! We had dinner here every night and it was the treat of our two week trip! Food is outstanding in an elegant setting with many locals coming for dinner. The hotel/restaurant is a family affair and you are treated as such. One brother plays the piano as you dine while the other brother is the maitre’d. Highly recommend and would definitely return!
It was convenient as we were playing golf across the street. The service and food there are top notch and we enjoyed our stay tremendously.
From the moment you enter the hotel, it is evident that this hotel is a family run hotel. From the level of cleanliness of the hotel, to the level of attention from the hosts I would rate this stay as 5 stars. Their attention to details is very impressive. I would highly recommend Teach de Broc.

Just spent 2 nights in Teach de Broc with 8 friends golfing in Kerry. This is a remarkable guesthouse. 5 star service with attention to detail no large hotel can achieve. The food was exceptional and the cosy bar a great place to have a song or two. Thanks to Dermot and the team for a wonderful stay. Derek Ronan
We enjoyed a night in this wonderful boutique hotel. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Dermot in reception before heading across the road to play Ballybunion. An amazing hotel, the warmth of the staff, the fabulous bed rooms, dining area and cosy bar. Dinner that evening in the hotel dining room was exceptional, more like a 5 star restaurant and breakfast next morning was wonderful and very efficiently served by Cian. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back again very soon.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Teach de Broc this past weekend and had a genuinely excellent experience. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. We were genuinely taken aback by how warm, professional and helpful everyone was. I don’t think my review could really even capture how nice they were without you thinking I’m exaggerating! The hotel itself is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. It’s a perfect place to unwind after a long day or to rest up after a long drive. We had dinner there, which was excellent (ordering Pork Tenderloin and Seabass) plus they pour an excellent pint of Guinness. What really stood out though, was the level of personal service. Cian and Dermot Broc in particular are a credit to the place and made a huge difference to our stay. We also had lovely interactions with Claire and Susan at reception, who were both welcoming and helpful. I don’t often feel compelled to leave reviews, but when it’s deserved, it’s deserved. I would wholeheartedly recommend Teach de Broc and would happily stay again anytime. A real treat!
Everything!the most fantastic accommodation, the hospitality from Aoife and Cian.beautiful food ,beautiful rooms.had the best night sleep in our fabulous room.A true gem of kerry,we will be back !
Comfort, food, hospitality
The nicest place , we had the most wonderful stay , the staff , the food and drink were amazing . We had a ball, the dinner was Devine. The beds were amazing and the views were wonderful
We recently celebrated a hen party with a private dining experience at Teach de Broc in Ballybunion, and the entire experience was exceptional. The team worked with us to create a customised menu that suited everyone in the group, and the food on the night was absolutely outstanding — beautifully presented and genuinely some of the nicest food we’ve ever had at an event like this. A special mention has to go to Cian, who was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. He was organised, professional, and incredibly accommodating. The welcome drinks on arrival were a lovely touch and hugely appreciated by the whole group. Cian ensured everything ran smoothly, and his attention to detail really made the night feel extra special. Teach de Broc delivered exceptional service, fantastic food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend it for any private event or celebration in Ballybunion!
Very friendly family owned property. Everyone was so professional and really helpful Couldn’t rate it highly enough. Will be back.
What a great experience, even if we didn't take full advantage of it. We booked here though we were going to Listowel races and Teach de Broc just made our weekend. From the moment we arrived the hospitality was fantastic. With the location only a 9 Iron away from Ballybunion golf course and our room over looking the driving range its a must for golf enthusiasts. We arrived early on Saturday and both Cian and Aoife were there and the hospitality, support and helpfulness could not be faulted. We had a great time at the races, enjoyable night in Ballybunion and then finished with a wonderful breakfast. It all went too quick and we will be going back to enjoy the beach and scenery in the near future. The decor and room was fantastic, we didn't make the most of booking dinner or enjoying a drink in the bar but got some great ideas for our house we are currently doing improvements on :)
Breakfast and dinner delish, everyone we met had a lovely manner, felt homely speaking to staff and locals.
Nothing couldn't fault it
fantastic hotel owners done everything to make our stay excellent our evening meal is what you call fine dining experience

We had an amazing experience at Tech de Broc! We had an early afternoon tee time at Ballybunion and were able to be accommodated to check into our room by the innkeeper. Our room was spacious, clean, sunfilled, the shower and bathroom also spacious and comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner and then breakfast at the inn and both were very good. After dinner we had a drink at the bar and found the guests fun to chat with in a wonderfully casual setting. The innkeeper happened to be there and was charming and very welcoming. What I loved most about Teach de Broc was the warm, welcoming vibe in a cozy, comfortable setting. No pretense, just friendliness, good food, and great service. Teach de Broc is a great place to stay when you're playing Ballybunion (easy walk to the clubhouse)!
This was a gem. Self-described as a Guest House, Teach de Broc (Teach is pronounced “Tok”, or so I was told) is a small, family-run hotel that welcomes everyone but is ideally situated to accommodate golfers who have trekked to Ballybunion, Ireland to play its eponymous golf course. This establishment was ideal for our needs. Brothers, Cian and Dermot, who run the establishment with their mother, make every effort to cater to the needs of their customers. They were all cheerful and engaging, and put forth the best in Irish hospitality. The establishment includes a nicely appointed dining room with beautifully decorated upholstered seating, and fine art adorning the walls. There is also a small, adjoining bar with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu was eye popping and the food quality and service were excellent; tellingly, some of the patrons were locals. Rooms were spacious, clean, equipped with flat screen tvs, and the beds enabled a great night’s sleep. For those visiting to play the golf course, there is no lodging that is more convenient; the driving range is across the street (but you can't see it because of some adroit landscaping), and the clubhouse is close enough to walk to with your clubs. Yet, regardless of the purpose of your visit, Teach de Broc should be your choice for lodging if you visit Ballybunion. I would not stay anywhere else.
If you want a place that is friendly, well run, attentive and comfortable in every way, Teach de Broc is for you. Add to that a very good kitchen and you have a wonderful home base - especially if you are playing at Ballybunion Golf Club which is a five minute walk and two minutes to the range. Don't miss it. From an appreciative Canadian.
Fabulous property, staff excellent and food just superb. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to get back to you.
Absolutely amazing stay. Perfect food, exceptional service and being able to walk across the street for golf was fantastic
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. We needed a place closeby for an early tee time at Ballybunion. This far exceeded the expectations I had from booking online. The rooms are spacious, modern, yet warm. The location is fantastic You can walk to the golf course and the beach. It was not a big hotel, but much more than a B&B. Our favorite part was the restaurant, for both breakfast and dinner, and the accompanying bar where we had pre-dinner drinks. Owners Cian and Dermott were a wealth of information, both for the history of the area and helping us to plan our Ring of Kerry drive. We so enoyed their company. On our 2nd and last day, my daughter and I had to wait for husband and son to complete golfing before we could leave. Dermott settled us comfortably in the restaurant area with tea and coffee and we passed a few hours chatting and reading. I could have stayed there all day. It was like being in your own home, but with someone taking care of you! It's a special place. I would go there again, golf or no golf.
Wonderful place run by wonderful people. This family owned and operated hotel did everything possible to ensure our stay was perfect. We felt truly welcomed…
Excellent staff, beautiful decor, and the hotel, very clean, approximately to the golf course

Just one night stay on golf trip from Texas. Absolutely fabulous! Keon and Dermot kept us entertained, rooms large and very comfortable. Evening meal out of this world. A must stay if in Ballybunnion.
Having dined in the restaurant on many occasions for some reason this time I needed to write a review, from the moment we arrived, our visit to Teach de Broc was an excellent experience! I didn’t have a starter this time, but, the main course was the best I’ve had in a very long time, wild sea trout, and as for the desert orgasmic to say the least! A beautiful evening with a great Friend! Thank You!
This place is just magical. From the staff to the facilities and food. Golf trip with 20 of us. Really pleasant staff and food was top drawer. Would highly recommend to anybody. Thank you
Excellent comfortable room, staff extremely friendly and helpful.
All was good.
The service/staff/accommodations/overall experience was exceptional all the way around. Location right across from Ballybunion Golf Club is a golfer's dream. Loved the general feel of the hotel -- quaint but also well-appointed, and rooms were cozy but also spacious and charming. Very clean. You can tell it is well taken care of, and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!
I honestly can't think of anything negative.
Loved the location, breakfast, staff and very comfortable room.

Great hospitality!! The rooms are clean, nice and quiet, but what makes it great is the attentiveness of the staff. Quality.
Everything was fantastic
Absolute gem of a small boutique accommodations. 5 stars all around. Everything here is world class. A very personable host and staff - all went out of their way to show us warm hospitality and top shelf service. The dinner was exquisite and the breakfast was the best I’ve had. have traveled to 90 countries and stayed at over 1000 hotels and I would rank this experience in the top ten. A must stay if your anywhere near this area of Ireland. Walkable to Ballybunion and 50 yards from the driving range is a bonus.
We only stayed one night before playing Ballybunion. It was very welcoming. They were very accommodating with an early breakfast and offered showering facilities post round.
The whole offer and ambience was amazing. The food and hospitality fantastic. It's a must when visiting Ballybunion.

Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Comfortable in every way. Lovely town.
All great
Amazing stay. Right next to the golf course and down the road from town. The owners were absolutely the BEST!
Stayed here for a weekend and would highly recommend this boutique hotel. Food choice and quality was exceptional. Decor very chic, bedroom luxurious and so comfortable.....but the service is the real winner here, we had a wonderful welcome which carried throughout our stay so a massive thanks to Cian and Dermot....we will be back 😀 Claire and Marcus.
Everything was just amazing , from check in to check out. The food , the room , the service , the staff . Will be back .
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like
Beautiful country hotel. Walking distance to golf club 5 mins. These guys are absolutely awesome - they know exactly what you need before you know yourself. This place is highly competently run, extremely friendly, polite, kind and oh I could go on and on. Very comfortable rooms. We enjoyed an excellent meal in their restaurant - first class - top quality - award deserving. Great breakfast too! I hope to return one day!
Nothing.
Fantastically clean and the staff were perfect.
Really lovely welcome on arrival with lots of information on what to see in the area. Room was great - large with a view towards golf course. Decided to eat in hotel. Food was amazing - absolutely delicious. Service was great too - not too formal, just quite relaxed. Breakfast in morning was also yummy. Would recommend.
Every aspect of our stay was excellent. From the warm welcome to the beautiful room and delicious evening meal and breakfast. Coffee maker in the room and luxury toiletries.
Nothing - it was exceptional
it was perfect. A special treat.
The bathroom was a tad small in relation to the bedroom which was very spacious.
Excellent clean and comfortable accommodation. Staff extremely warm and welcoming. Breakfast was superb, pity we didn’t have an evening meal (ate elsewhere), but it looks like a lovely place to dine in the evening.
I cannot blame them for bad weather !
The food and service were both exceptional. Highly recommend having your evening meal here and the breakfast was delicious too.
The hotel was perfect . Dinner & breakfast perfect . Desert trolly 👍👍. Bed.. the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in . Staff from manager / reception / house staff .. lovely people . We will defo behave . Thank you

Rooms were large and modern and very comfortable! Lovely distant views! Superb choice of breakfast. Traditional Irish sets you up for the day
Nothing ,but remember to ask for the door code if you're likely to get back late!
Great location
Could have done with a bar/lounge area.
Really friendly team. Facilities totally up together.
The staff was lovely! Beautiful setting!
From the moment I walked in the door I was overwhelmed with beautiful decor, furniture and surroundings. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, fresh and beautifully presented. We ate in the restaurant which again was amazing. The staff are so attentive to your needs, shout out to Aoife and Dermot who facilitated us with a table despite being booked out. Our room was spotless, spacious and the finishing touches reflected the very high standard visible throughout the premises. Will definitely be back!
