Everything about The 19th Golf Lodge was superb. James and Mary (the owners) were extremely helpful in every way. Free Wi-Fi, ample parking, Large room, lovely bathroom spotlessly clean, can't fault it. If you are looking to stay in the area, The 19th Golf Lodge is a must

We were made to feel so welcome the minute we walked through the door .It is very well run by Mary and James nothing was too much trouble Breakfast we had the Golfers Grill which was delicious lots to choose from there's not 1 thing I could fault this Accommodation will definitely be staying here again 😀

Stairs, I thought I’d booked a ground floor room but it hadn’t been requested and all the rooms on the ground were taken. So be sure to ask if mobility issues are a problem

Mary and Pat were excellent hosts, facilities were very comfortable

The hosts Mary and James were warm and welcoming. The room we were in, Tom Watson room was huge, bright and very comfortable. The bathroom was great with incredibly powerful and instant hot water and I had a gorgeous jacuzzi in the bath and then a great shower rinse.

Perhaps the lounge room downstairs could be more welcoming with some newspapers. magazines, books to browse and good lighting for reading.

The owners are wonderfull, you’ll feel at home

Exceptional service to the guest, comfortable, spacious bed in the room and the jacuzzi bathtub is excellent. Breakfast was perfectly made and serve, welcoming, lovely and friendly staff.

Just the location is good way walk to the town and to the mean beach.

Fabulous stay at The 19th Golf Lodge. I was made to feel so welcome by both Mary and James. Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms in a super location. Would highly recommend.

The 19th surpassed all of my expectations. Firstly, Mary & James are really lovely. They both gave me a very warm welcome. Mary put me in a beautiful, spacious suite with a large bathtub. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was huge & very comfortable. I generally don't sleep well, but I slept like the proverbial log here. It's really peaceful & only a short walk to a huge, beautiful, very quiet beach. At breakfast, Mary & James made sure that despite being celiac, I had a proper full Irish breakfast. The only place I've stayed at in 2 weeks that have done that for me. It was a real treat. Thank you for going to so much effort to accommodate me. I really appreciate it. The only thing I wasn't happy with was having to leave this morning! I highly recommend staying here, and I hope to return on my next trip, but next time for longer. Thank you for looking after me so well, Mary & James. Lisa. xx

I had a wonderful stay at the 19th Golf Lodge in Ballybunion. The place was spotless, comfortable, and very welcoming. The location is excellent—peaceful and conveniently close to the famous golf course and local attractions. The hosts, Mary and James, were incredibly accommodating, kind, and welcoming. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and were always happy to help with anything. Their hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. I highly recommend the 19th Golf Lodge to anyone visiting Ballybunion. The property was the in the perfect location, it was a beautiful property fabulous views, very clean and the room was very spacious. The staff were more than welcoming, accommodating and the kindest you could meet.

It is quite and peaceful

The only downside is that it’s quite a distance from the town if you have to walk to it

Beautiful location and greeted instantly by the most lovely staff which were highly accommodating to every need we had, the room was very clean with a stunning view. Breakfast was amazing.

Probably my favorite stay during our week in Ireland. James and Mary were extremely welcoming and genuinely want to make certain that you have a great trip. The room was very large and extremely comfortable with both a bath and a shower (water pressure was insanely good). Really comfortable space, so much so that we ended up staying an extra night here. The breakfast is wonderful and can't recommend the 19th Lodge more highly.

I don't know that there was anything not to like about the accomodations.

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. The owners were very kind and attentive, and we immediately felt comfortable. The room was good, clean, and well-kept. Overall, this was the best overnight stay of our entire trip to Ireland, and we would definitely return.

Mary and James are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. From the second we entered the property we felt right at home, they were so friendly helping us with anything we needed. It is an excellent location and the rooms were fabulous and huge, could not recommend staying with Mary and James at the 19th lodge enough. Looking forward to our next stay here in Ballybunion already

The hosts are fantastic

The breakfast menu is absolutely superb, it offers both variety and high class cuisine. It was not only beautifully presented, it was hot, very tasty and I believe I experienced the single most wonderful breakfast of my life, and I travel a lot! The owners Mary and James are super hosts. We missed them when we left. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, loads of room and well lit. We will definitely return and choose the 19th Golf Lodge over any other accommodation in Ballybunion.

This has nothing to do with the property, it has more to do with the council support available/contributed towards the building of footpaths and lighting in the town's suburbs. The town and main beach is a short walk from the 19th Golf Lodge, just 25 minutes. For 15 minutes of that walk to the main town, there is no footpath or lights. I'm sure the owners of these holiday rentals pay enormous property taxes and they should really get more property support from the council for the safety aspect for pedestrians.

From check-in to check-out our hosts were phenomenal, very attentive, friendly and professional. I could not fault. The rooms were incredibly spacious, clean and well maintained. breakfast was tasty and had a great selection

The 19th is a great place to stay ideally located beside Ballybunion Golf club. I got upgraded to a great room and enjoyed a lovely breakfast the next morning.

Location was excellent, beds were very comfortable and the staff were nice. I'd rate the place higher, but there were issues with the shower which did take the rating down.

Shower functioned very poorly. Low pressure and was cold. Was told that it could have been caused by the kitchen at the restaurant, but it didn't improve during our stay.

Room was spacious and the bed was very large. Breakfast options were excellent and the owners are wonderful. Great location with beach and golf course in close proximity with the town of Ballybunion being a short 5 minute drive away.
