The location was perfect for us since it was close to our relatives. It was also very quite and peaceful with access to walks and a wonderful garden.

The tiny and traditional house is one of the most memorable stays for vacations. A true gem!

The location was exactly what we were look for. It was in the heart of nature with walking trails, birds and animals and you would see the stars at night. We loved the daily visits from the peacocks too!

Nie ma takiej rzeczy raczej. Jedyna uwaga dla osób bardzo wysokich ze domek jest niski i można obijać głowę jak się zapomni :)

It was an amazing place. A whole house for yourself. They also made home made bread for us. You could get cookies and madeira wine for a few euros. And they cleaned, gave new towls, made the bed, emptied the trash and restocked toiletpaper after two days. It was very peacefull and quiet and it felt very safe. Temperature was perfect too. We liked it very much!

De prachtige locatie. De privacy. Goede communicatie. Vriendelijke eigenaar en tuinman die we tegenkwamen tijdens een wandeling over het domein. De pauwen. Prachtige, vlakke levada wandelingen te doen vanaf het huisje. Dichtbij Camacha.

Op Madeira is het lastig nooit verkeer te horen bij de verblijven. Soms hoorden we nachten niets hoor. Het was van de vier verblijven die wij hebben aangedaan, absoluut het meest rustige verblijf.

Everything was super nice! The room was gorgeous, in the middle of a wonderful garden, inside a forest. The owners were very nice and hospitable. Cleaning service was spot on. The homemade cookies were a delicious extra. Would definitely recommend!

Super beautiful location in Camacha a bit up the mountains. The garden around the cottage is stunning and gives a lot of peace and privacy. The little kitchenette has all the equiment you need to cook. The owners are very friendly and provide excellent and fast service/communication. Even the beautiful peacocks on the property come say hi at the end of the afternoon 🤭

This part of the island is a bit more humid. You will also notice this around the cottage, but the owners already provided a dehumidifier to keep the place comfortable and dry, so that's perfect.

I love everything about this property. The casitas have everything you need and are incredibly comfortable. The staff is excellent with great service and Sofia is very responsive to WhatsApp messages. There is truly no other place on the island of Madeira I would even consider staying after experiencing Valle Paraizo.

There’s nothing I don’t like about this property.

Ein reizendes kleines Haus inmitten herrlicher Natur. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, und alles funktioniert. Sehr angenehm der häufige Bettwäsche- und Handtücherwechsel. Nicht ganz leicht zu finden, dafür aber absolut ruhig und sehr gute Luft. Jeden Tag stattete und sogar ein Pfau Besuch ab und zeigte sein Rad! Überaus gemütliche Betten!

Und hat alles gefallen.

De cottages zijn prachtig gelegen, in het bosachtige omgeving

Zeer koude vloeren, er stonden overal kachels aan en we hebben begrepen waarom. Er wordt veel aangeboden, koekjes, wijn, een was draaien etc met aanzienlijke kosten. De cottage zelf is behoorlijk aan de prijs.

Wij verbleven in cottage Levadinha. Een gezellig authentiek huisje, ruim opgezet met heerlijke bedden en goede keukenuitrusting. Het ligt in een prachtige tuin met bloeiende bloemen en bomen. Wakker worden met het gezang van vogels, een stromend beekje en soms bezoek van een rondwandelende pauw. Prima tuinmeubilair aanwezig. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam, contact verliep vooral via WhatsApp. Als welkom lag er een zelfgebakken brood. We hebben ook eenmaal gebruik gemaakt van de service om lekkere zelfgemaakte soep en brood bij het huisje geleverd te krijgen. Dichtbij het huisje loopt de Levada waarlangs je richting Monte of Camacha kunt wandelen. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad!

Niets viel tegen. We denken wel dat je echt een auto nodig hebt voor verblijf hier. Het huisje ligt hoog en is te bereiken via een steil weggetje. Afstand tot Funchal is ongeveer 20 minuten.

Prekrasno i zeleno imanje. Pravi mali botanički vrt. Pažnja na detalje i evidentno uloženo puno truda i ljubavi.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in diesem Cottage auf Madeira. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt: absolut idyllisch und ruhig im Grünen gelegen, umgeben von einer wunderschönen, sehr gepflegten Gartenanlage mit unzähligen Blumen. Ein echtes Paradies für Naturliebhaber!Besonders charmant: Der hauseigene Pfau, der uns regelmäßig besucht hat – ein absoluter Hingucker und ein tolles Fotomotiv 🦚. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist man nicht zu weit von der Stadt entfernt und erreicht alles Wichtige schnell. Super praktisch war auch der eigene Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Ein weiteres Highlight war der zubuchbare Brötchenservice – jeden Morgen frische Backwaren direkt an der Tür zu haben, hat das Urlaubsfeeling perfekt gemacht.Wer Ruhe sucht und trotzdem eine gute Anbindung schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Une jolie quinta, au calme, au milieu d’un jardin luxuriant et paradisiaque, et sur le chemin d’une très jolie randonnée. On a l’impression d’être coupé du monde et pourtant, l’hébergement est à 2 minutes en voiture d’un supermarché, il y a des restaurants accessibles à pied et 15,petites minutes suffisent pour rejoindre Funchal.

Romantický prázdninový domeček na tichém místě. Méně než 20 minut autem jak z letiště, tak i z Funchalu. Velikost se nedá hodnotit. Pro mě malé bylo pěkné.

Es ist ein kleines schönes Cottage sehr abseits gelegen, man ist quasi "mitten" in der Natur, es ist entsprechend schön und ruhig.

Wer über 1,95m ist, kann in großen Teilen des Cottage nicht stehen.

Outstanding location, very private, very quiet, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The house was warm, the two electric heaters were effective and we also used the log burner (€35 for the week, in cash, excellent value). Good, hot shower and a bathtub. We cooked and found the kitchen well equipped. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The directions to the house on WhatsApp were very clear, and the host responded quickly, helpful and friendly to our questions via WhatsApp. We loved staying at Levadinha and hope to come back soon. Thank you Sofia and team!

This cosy cottage exudes a peaceful atmosphere. It’s quiet yet well-connected, and you might even spot peacocks roaming around.

This kitchen includes only very basic equipment. Using the fireplace is not included in the price.

Podobały nam się: - Pawie chodzące po posesji (odwiedziły nas 3 razy w ciągu tygodniowego pobytu) - Wygodne, duże łóżko - W dni pracujące sprzątanie co dwa dni - Wygodne leżaki w ogrodzie

Niestety nie podobało nam się wiele rzeczy: - Cena obiektu zupełnie nie jest adekwatna do jakości, co więcej zdjęcia oferty i opis na booking mogą wprowadzić w błąd. - Domek, który dostaliśmy miał mieć 51m2 (nie wspomniano, że połowę powierzchni zajmą skosy). Nie zliczymy ile razy uderzyliśmy głową o sufit po wyjściu z pod prysznica, ramę od drzwi przy wyjściu z łazienki lub po prostu korzystając z sypialni. - W domku drzwi są nieszczelne. Przez dolną i górną szparę przechodzi robactwo (szczypawice, ślimaki itp.) - Pomimo informacji na booking, że kominek jest darmowy - na miejscu okazuje się, że chcą pobrać opłatę 35 euro/7 dni użytkowania kominka. Co więcej w weekend nikt nie donosi drewna i trzeba przynieść samodzielnie. Drewno jest mokre! Kontaktowałam się w tej sprawie z booking - obiekt nie jest upoważniony do pobierania dodatkowej opłaty!!! -Na miejscu czujesz się jak w małym sklepie - wystawa z alkoholi i ciasteczek, które również możesz sobie dokupić za wygórowane ceny. Jest to nietaktowne. Zwłaszcza, że na tygodniowy pobyt przywiotano nas zaledwie 2 saszetkami herbaty i 2 kapsułkami kawy. - W ofercie opisano, że w każdym domku znajduje się bidet i suszarka bębnowa. Niestety nie w naszym. Nie było nawet sprzętu do prasowania. Po prośbie przyniesiono nam parownicę i mikro suszarkę na pranie. Które po praniu ręcznym schło 2-3 dni... Można oczywiście za 15 euro dokupić usługę prania. 15 euro!!! - Ulica obok której znajduje się domek (nieee, nie jest to środek lasu - też tak myśleliśmy) jest dosyć głośna, co 2 przejeżdżający nią samochód trąbi- jest to wybitnie irytujące w trakcie popołudniowej drzemki.

The house is located in the forest as part of a very beautiful and well-kept complex. A spacious house with lots of privacy, equipped with everything you need, with a large lawn for relaxing. Communication with the hostess via WhatsApp is very easy and fast. All requests were answered very quickly. The name of the place describes the atmosphere. The area is convenient for trips in all directions, there are also several recommended restaurants near the place.

Ubytování předčilo naše očekávání a to i přes to, že interiér a vybavení v domečku bylo už starší. Místo má výbornou dostupnost (velký obchod Continente 3 minut autem) a opravdu nádhernou Levadu, kousek nad domem (ideální na běhání). V porovnání s naším dalším ubytováním nebylo ani v tak velké nadmořské výšce - plus při přesunech a dostupnosti obchodů. Celkově část ostrova, kde se ubytování nachází, hodnotíme lépe - tůry a dostupnost obchodů. Příjemný bonus je paví rodina, psi a kočky, kteří se na vás často budou chodit dívat. I když má pronajímatel domů v nabídce více, díky bohaté zahradě o sousedech vůbec nevíte. Hostitelka nám poskytla všechny potřebné informace, byla s námi v kontaktu a nápomocná. Děkujeme za pozornost v podobě domácí chleba na přivítání.

Vybavení ubytování bylo starší, ale nic nám tam nechybělo.

Casa bellissima, ben attrezzata e grande per due persone. C’è molta privacy tra gli appartamenti, potendo così godere il relax offerto dalla natura e dagli animali della valle. Ottima posizione se non si vuole stare in città ma avere comunque le comodità di avere supermercato e benzinaio vicini.

Uns hat die Lage im Grünen gefallen, die kurzen Wege zu den Levadas und die Nähe zu Funchal. Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird. Die Vermieterin und auch die Kolleginnen und Kollegen des Hausservice waren sehr freundlich und haben auch gerne Routen empfohlen.

Fantastisch me plek waarvan je levada-tocht kan lopen, helemaal privé met ruime tuin. Echt een heerlijke plek!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la Valle Paraizo (maison avec deux chambres). Située en pleine nature au sein d’un très beau domaine bien entretenu, la maison dispose d’un intérieur chaleureux. Nous l’avons trouvée dans un parfait état de propreté sachant que les draps ont été changés au cours de la semaine . Son emplacement permet de relier facilement tout l’est de l’île ainsi que Funchal.

un lave linge et un lave vaisselle seraient un plus appréciable !

An incredible place for a family getaway! We stayed with our kids and rented two houses — everything was just perfect. The houses are cozy, spotless, and well-equipped with everything you might need. The property is spacious, green, and beautifully maintained, with peaceful surroundings and stunning views. A special highlight: the peacocks! Several of them live on the grounds and occasionally come to “visit” — our children were absolutely delighted. This is a great spot for several families or a big group looking to relax in nature without sacrificing comfort. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Thank you for such a warm stay — we’ll definitely be back!

The small cottage has everything you need, it is out of traffic and the area is breathtaking! You can easily get here on the local bus, you don't need to hire a car!

What a lovely place! A paradise on earth....little cottage in the middle of nature and very close to Funchal...only 17 minutes drive. Handmade bread was waiting us when mw arrived.

We spent a wonderful week at Alhinho Cottage. Our stay was delightful—romantic, private, and cozy. The cottage has everything you need, from kitchen supplies to a heater. Lighting the fireplace became part of our daily routine, which made the experience even more special. We also really enjoyed meeting the peacocks and the sweet dog. To sum up, I couldn’t recommend this exceptional place more. Best wishes to Sofia!

We loved every minute of our stay at Valle Paraizo! The place is like a small piece of paradise with magnificent gardens and a levada that starts right outside the house. As a lovely bonus, we had peacocks visiting us every day :) The house itself was clean and was equipped with everything we needed, and we loved the homemade bread Sofia left us as a welcome gift. Location is good as the island is small and it is a short drive to everywhere interesting to explore. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals. The bedrooms were warm, and the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast arrangement is excellent as well. You put an order for 2 days and receive a basket full of groceries to cook for your family. Sofia brings fresh bread every day. I really don't have enough words to recommend this place. We LOVED it and lovely Madeira..

Lovely cottage for couples... very cosy.

The twin beds stay is not really suitable for couples. I was very uncomfortable as I like to sleep close to my partner. Would have been perfect if there was a double bed instead of two single beds pushed together. Ideal if you like to sleep slightly separately though...

A very beautiful location set in a huge orchard / garden area. One levada goes directly through the property. Friendly peacocks greet you in the mornings :) The kitchen/living area is well equipped.

Perhaps some more storage cupboards and dressers would be nice, there aren't enough for a family of four.

everything was perfect

We stayed in the Levadinha cottage and we loved this place! Our cottage had a single bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen, incl. oven and espresso capsule machine. We also used the dehumidifier in the living room, but there was only so much it could do. Cleaning was done every other day. No washing machine, but laundry service offered by the host. The entire valley was quiet and peaceful, there are gardens around the cottages and it was great to relax there on a sunbed and watch the stars at night. Several cats and peacocks tend to visit. Also, we felt the location was great for trips around the island. The property has an easy access road (by Madeiran standards) and in Camacha, the road connects to new tunnels and the highway around the island. Overall, very convenient for beginner drivers like us. Finally, I liked the levada that crossed the property. It is not one of the busy ones, so we never saw any crowds. But if you follow it to the right, it will take you to Camacha in 15 minutes (good for shopping or dinner on foot). In the other direction, it would take you to the football stadium of the islands's top team, which I thought was cool.

Fabulous little cottage with modern kitchen and bathroom. Very easy to access from the airport and direct bus into Funchal. Loved our stay here!

We really liked the house Alhinho we stayed in. Nice cosy living room, big kitchen, big comfortable beds with amazing pillows. The surroundings of the house Alhinho were also beautiful. We visited during March/April and everything around was blooming or was green, a beautiful apple orchard. The house had a beautiful private terrace/garden, which we did not manage to use because of the bad weather. The house was equipped with a bathtub and hot water flowed immediately and was really warm, I was so happy after a hike in the rain. We did not have breakfast in this accomodation.

At the time of our stay it was a bit colder and rainy in Madeira. Although there were 2 electric radiators in the house, they were not enough to heat all 3 rooms especially when it was raining outside. There was therefore a big temperature difference between the kitchen, where there was no radiator, and the living room, where there was a radiator. But we managed, the radiators could be moved from one room to another.
