Leaking ceiling in the bathroom which although it was offered for us to move rooms we opted to stay, we were handed a bucket with a blue towel in. Hopefully this is fixed for the next guests..... The shower wasn't great, bed quite hard with a thin duvet and the pillows were lumpy. Only 1 bedside cabinet, missing lightbulb in the lamp and the tv signal wasn't great. All in all we probably wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel was clean and tidy and very fresh. The onside restaurant was amazing. Food was fab. And we wanted a nightcap, and the porter wasted no time in opening up the bar and serving us a Whisky to take to our room.

Abbiamo chiesto il favore di anticipare la colazione di 30 minuti siccome avevamo il volo presto e lo staff è stato molto disponibile accogliendo la richiesta.

Le finiture nel bagno sono poco curate, il bordo inferiore della base della doccia mancava di stucco e c'era qualche perdita di acqua. Niente di pazzesco, la stanza era comunque perfettamente abitabile senza problemi.

It was clean tidy the food was very good as well as the beer. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed.

The decorations were looking a bit tired. I had to repair the shower myself. And I didn’t get extra coffee in the room every day. Other than that no complaints.

Everything was very good, and the room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was to order but there were some cold breakfast and cereal available, too.

The only issue was that we were placed near a place where they had a wedding function, and considering we had a child with us, sleeping was not easy with the loud music.

All staff in both hotel and bistro were amazing. The wait staff were so friendly and well trained. The receptionist was so helpful even put our clothes in the work dryer at no extra charge. Nothing was too much for them

Perfecto para pasar la noche como fué nuestro caso. Limpio, cómo, amplio y silencioso. Detalles de café, té y hervidor de agua. Secador de pelo también. Parking de sobra, aunque llegues tarde.

Nada que objetar. Había una pequeña avería en el lavabo, lo comenté en recepción y tomaron nota para arreglarlo amablemente.

Good sized room, comfy bed. Good breakfast. Hotel was hosting a wedding (Saturday night in summer in Scotland....so not surprised). Loud music until midnight but we were accepting of that. A large party of bus travellers in another wing. This meant that staff were under the pump. No-one at Reception when I arrived. Eventually checked in, with sketchy details re parking and how to find the room. No-one at Reception when I checked out.... I left the key on the desk and departed. Probably need more staff for the circumstances.... perhaps this is not obtainable at this peak time of year?

The location was good to other areas in Scotland, however you will need a car to travel otherwise the location will be difficult . The staff at the reception desk and the room cleaning team were very friendly and helpful.

The cleanest about the rooms Was not good and the furniture is outdated and damaged The carpets are not clean and smelled . The rooms we had were not the ones you see when you book them As I’m not sure if those photos were taken when the hotel was first opened.

Stayed 3 nights, dined at the restaurant 2 nights but on the 3rd night we were told we were 1 minute too late to order dinner at 8:42pm which was disappointing.

I had a family room for myself and my two younger children which was very spacious.

On my second night, the function room was in use for a birthday party. The music was incredibly loud in my room. We were not guests at the function and had real difficulty sleeping. Not best to place a family with young children above a booked function room who not part of the celebration. A room in a different part or the hotel would have been preferred. Loud music until midnight. Contemplated leaving the hotel that night due to noise. Disappointed.

Convenient location.

A bright light was on infront of the room through the night making it difficult to sleep. Bathroom sink had hot and cold water running in parallel streams but not mixing well. The bathroom needs refurbished

Plenty of parking, food very good. Friendly staff. Great location, just off motorway but quiet. Smart TV worked well.

Very low water pressure in en suite. Could do with somewhere to put toiletries, had to leave them on floor. No teaspoons. Was quite a walk from chalets to main building, would be an issue in bad weather.

The restaurant was well presented .. recently giving a makeover?

The bedroom was tired .. although all the facilities were there the decoration of the room and bathroom were well past their best.

Awful! All running round like headless chickens. So travelled with a coach trip one night stop off after being on the road for 12 hours with only an apple, banana and plum from previous hotel as breakfast. Dinner was stated 7:30pm the starters NEVER came out till 8:45pm, we were shoo’d away and dismissed when we asked about the food. We had to serve our tables with jugs of water and glasses as these where not out for us, we literally had to go and bring them in and place them on the tables. The noise was awful, they had a quiz where the man on the mic was right outside the door, head was pounding after 10 minutes. I had vegan option and my main came out at 9:18pm had four mouthfuls but not an enjoyable experience with the loudness of the man on mic bellowing around the small windowless room,. The noise and a pounding head and a 2 hour wait for food, I couldn’t eat. 4 times I was asked what pudding was mine. 4 times!!!!!! I ended up just leaving - a combination of extremely loud noise, hunger and tiredness I left without the pudding. The room was not much better, the towel was stained, the trouser press was hanging on by one screw and the bedding was stained (black marks on pillow case) and smelt used .. the floor outside the bathroom dipped in when stood on and one of the cups in the room had tea dribble stains down it like it had been used and not washed, tea spoon was sticky. To top it off the bath towel was also stained. (Thank heavens I packed my own). And the wall was all blown at bottom. The noise of the motorway you just couldn’t get to sleep, no double glazing. Plus the table next to the bed has seen better days. They even had the audacity to say if anything is damaged they will charge a fee. Which makes me think do they put damaged stuff in rooms to con the innocent out of more money.

no era un hotel elegante pero estaba limpio, restaurante integrado y a buen precio, con comida habitual en reino unido, personal amable y check in facil. Parking enorme y con plazas disponibles. Perfecto para quien quiere ir a pasar un dia a Glasgow

The bar and restaurant were good with welcoming bar and waiting staff and good food. Parking was easy.

The receptionist on our arrival wasn’t at all pleasant or welcoming. The room was very dated and bathroom was awful. No shaver plug socket. No hooks and parts missing off taps. Getting into the shower was a contortionist act.

I was in rm 246. The room was quite outdated, furniture as well as the room feeling quite dirty. I would suggest a full refurb of the room. I will definitely book and come back again and I would like to see the room refurbished

Comfortable room. Good shower. Little noise from other guests. Biscuits a nice thought. We did not take any meals.

The bed was not the most comfy I have slept in and the pillows were a little hard. The window was wide open on our arrival and due to the strong winds dust and debris was blown on to the sill and carpet. We did not have a bin in the bathroom and although we asked for one it never appeared.

Worst ever experience

Since my first reservation did not go well, I reserved this property n rush. After long journey, with three children, I got to room with no cot for my young child. Around 1630 i was told that housekeeping staff will come around 6 to provide me the cot. I decided to travel back home since I could not stand and struggle more. The receptionist with the approval of manager confirmed that the cancellation is free of charge. Now I am getting message that this was non refundable. Why I was not been told that we will not refund when I was at reception. I strongly believe that Booking. Com is playing off not the property.

This place is a great place to stay between Glasgow and Falkirk. Good place for non driving solo travelers. Take the X37 out of Glasgow at Buchanan Bus Station. Bus stop is right in front of Hotel. Clean and pleasantly decorated. To go to Falkirk take the X37 again. X37 towards Glasgow for way back. If going to Edinburgh from here, take the X37 bus to Falkirk and either take the X38 from there to Edinburgh or walk down the Hill from the Upper Newmarket street. 3 min walk and take the train.
