I booked a room with parking. On arrival, there was no parking. I arrived around 7pm and when checking in there was no parking available. I said that i need to go and meet my customer for and go for dinner. if there is no parking when I return, there is no point staying at the hotel. The receptionist agreed with and insisted that I continue to check in. I did not even see the room, as I went to pick up my customer for a business meeting and dinner. I returned around 23h30 to be met with a different person at reception who said there was still no parking. I said to refund the booking which I said he would do so. 4 days have past and still no refund. The staff lied about the refund. So my advice to anyone booking a room with parking.. dont believe them. This hotel will take you money and lie to you about refunding you!!. Shame on you IHG and Holiday INN!!

Staff were nice, beds were comfortable. Room was quiet. Breakfast was nice. Manager was helpful in getting us somewhere to park but was in a bus bay so was very lucky no buses were due when we stayed

Car parking was awful , there was very little chance of us finding a spot or any alternative parking around the area. There was mould on the ceiling above the shower , assuming it was to do with the fact the extractor fan in the bathroom was not working.

Room - throughout the night there was a constant noise which can only be described as someone using the gas burner on a hot air balloon and was ongoing multiple times per hour resulting in lack of sleep. The bed was extremely hard, no windows so room was stuffy and even using the unit on the wall it was impossible to make the room cool Breakfast was average and little choice and snacks available at lunch time very limited after a long drive

There was poo on the toilet seat of my bathroom when I arrived. This was bad in and of itself but it also made me wonder how dirty the rest of the place was.

Mi-a placut faptul ca nu este departe de Terminalul 5 unde am fost nevoita sa raman peste noapte si am avut ocazia sa fie camere disponibile chiar si facand rezervare cu 30 minute inainte de a ajunge la hotel. Conditii bune si liniste tinand cont ca aeroportul este aproape. Micul dejun bun si personalul amabil.

Nu este ceva ce nu mi-a placut.

Comfortable spacious rooms. Easy to find. Paid parking on site. Large busy hotel so staff is fine but a little bit like the fast food version of hotels. Cleaners were all nice and discreet.

Food including breakfast is terrible. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children. Even the children did not want to eat anything except for the little croissants at breakfast. Everything looked and tasted like the cheapest thing one could buy (it’s there just so they can say it’s included at the price), scrambled eggs were sweet. We had dinner when we arrived and it was very disappointing, it did not taste good at all. No water in the room upon arrival. There was a lot of white hair between the towels in one of the rooms. I am sure the cleaners did not put it there, just writing to the hotel can be aware. We were a bit disgusted after that. Luckily we had two rooms and children could share towels.

All staff are so nice and friendly.Room is excellent and location.The value of money is good.

Corridors were a little dirty in places - but not really an issue

The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our family’s needs, making sure every request was met. They did everything with a smile, which made the experience great value for money.

The parking charge of £16 per day is quite expensive, and I think they should offer discounted rates for hotel guests. The orange juice was from concentrate, which tasted quite sweet, but the breakfast offerings were varied and good value for money.

Staff were really helpful and went above and beyond for our autistic child.

My room was ok - But seen better ones on other side

Overall I had a good experience. The only thing was my bathroom sink was semi blocked. Water was draining but it was slow. Luckily it was just an overnight stay so I didn't bother to get it unclogged. I also at at the restaurant. Food was decent and reasonably priced.

We had a lovely family stay at Holiday Inn Express London. The hotel offers good prices, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. We also had an amazing time at the Harry Potter Studios — a wonderful family experience! 🪄✨ Our only suggestion would be to provide complimentary water and a small fridge in the rooms. Overall, a great stay and good value for money! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had mold in our shower and was quite a bit. When I brought down photos to the management they canned our room but I slept overnight breathing in the mold before I noticed it and management waited until 1:00 before moving me to another room and still not feeling well. Arrived at T5 about 9pm. Braved it and got the public bus, which was probably a bit daring as it was dark and we weren't 100% sure where to stop. This was a great decision though as it only cost a few pounds and stopped right next to hotel. I've stayed here with my family before and paid a costly taxi fare! You know what you are getting with a HIE hotel. The rooms were a bit tired, but roomy and clean. Nice simple breakfast to start our day. Will continue to use this hotel if we are travelling T5.

Can't go wrong with hotels of this calibre, it was clean, easy to find and high quality bedroom for your money.

Car park is rather expensive for a single nights stay - over £10 for one night with check out at 8am! So be prepared for that cost if you are staying overnight.

The hotel is conveniently located, clean, and well-maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like; the property was welcoming and comfortable overall.

A few of the evening staff members, such as the waiters and bar staff were polite and brilliant with the kids.

The hotel is located next to a bar which is not advertised on the website. The bar plays extremely loud music until the early hours of the morning. This made it difficult for my children to sleep. After researching the bar, it is linked to the hotel itself. When bringing this to the attention of the desk, they were very dismissive and quite frankly could not care less. If I would have known that this bar existed next to the hotel, then I would never have booked. Speaking to the management the morning we departed, they stated that I would receive a 20% discount on my booking, which was clearly said just to get us gone. DO NOT BOOK if you have children and want a comfortable, restful night.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Heathrow Terminal 5 on 1st August 2026 and had a mixed experience. Check‑in was handled by Muhammad, who was friendly, welcoming, and professional, a great start to the stay. Unfortunately, the service later in the evening didn’t match this standard. At around 9pm, Suman, a Guest Service Assistant at the bar, told customers that nothing was available in the kitchen, even though the kitchen actually closes at 10:30pm. The way this was communicated felt abrupt and lacked basic courtesy, which was disappointing for an IHG property and not reflective of the brand’s usual professionalism. Aside from this, the overall stay was decent, and the breakfast was good with a nice selection and helpful staff.

I picked this hotel for its location, close to Heathrow, I travelled solo to collect a family member from the airport. Room was clean and buffet was well stocked. Elena was polite and quick to tidy up tables. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for four days while conducting business training and hired both a meeting room and accommodation for our trainers. From start to finish, our experience was excellent. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and provided everything we needed for a productive stay. The guest rooms were comfortable, spotless, and well equipped, while all of the staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The meals provided throughout our stay were also of an excellent standard. They were well prepared, of high quality, and catered perfectly to our needs during the training sessions. I would particularly like to recognise Elena, who ensured our meeting room was always clean, tidy, and fully stocked throughout our training sessions. Her attention to detail and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. I would also like to commend Costa, whose exceptional service at reception and in the bar made a real difference to our stay. He was welcoming, helpful, and always happy to assist with any request. The outstanding service provided by the entire team, combined with the excellent facilities and high-quality catering, made our visit both productive and enjoyable. We look forward to returning to the hotel in the near future to conduct further training sessions and would highly recommend it to both business and leisure travellers.

Visited here 22/7/26 with family night before flight to USA . The parking is not free and costs 16£ overnight so be careful. Personally I think for IHG members it should be free . . It’s a noisy hotel and our room neighbours in room number 137 were noisy to quite late at night . The breakfast is not great and there is no decaf coffee in this hotel which is bizarre. Beds weren’t too good either . Overall it’s convenient to get to Heathrow and it’s relatively cheap but I’m not sure if I would return .

my shower leaked out the area so my entire bathroom was drenched ruining my hickes and hyde wash bag, the bathroom was unclean and waste water (urine) was present with the waste water all over the floor

I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Terminal 5. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, making it a great choice before a flight. My room was spotless every day, and her attention to detail and warm, friendly attitude made my stay even more enjoyable. I don't know what the T5 in the name stands for but it's not anywhere near terminal 5. And the restaurant/nightclub that is on property means you are going to be listening to music blasting until at least 2 am. Just what you want to deal with when you've been at 4 different airports in the last 36 hours and just looking for a break.. Also trying to pass off a room with a queen and trundle bed as a double twin, feels like you are getting fleeced.

To many steps in corridors to get to room 077. Made it hard with suitcases. Nothing within easy walking distance of hotel. Definitely an airport hotel, not an in-town hotel.

Too far from the airport, this hotel is marketed as being close to T5 , however it is just beyond the M25 exit. Unfortunately there are no hotel / airport courtesy buses that service it. The taxi fare to the hotel is currently a flat rate of £30 . The 703 local regular bus service takes about 15 minutes to transit and can be boarded at T5 from stand 7 or from the BP station opposite the hotel.

Great location with easy access to Heathrow and the tube and only a £3. Bus ride to Windsor. Bus 703 from Heathrow is only £1.50 to the hotel. Clean adequate rooms and good food in Dining Room also. Breakfast included with the room as well so a added bonus.
