A little run down,needs an update.

Friendly staff

It was a windy night and while all the windows was closed, the windows had a annoying rattle, we also woke up to no hot water to shower with during the cold weekend.

The staff assisted to allocate the room that corresponds with the photos 📸 on Booking.com. I appreciated it although I was disappointed initially.

The room in the photos 📸 did not correspond with the Deluxe Queen that I was booked in. It is misleading when booking online. This was meant to be a surprise birthday setup which got disturbed from relocating to a different room 😔.

Beautiful Hotel. Nice room. Excellent staff. Great breakfast. Safe neighbourhood. Quiet location. You can walk or jog safely in this small suburb. Good choice if you are staying just for one night between flights, as it is much closer to the airport than Sandton.

It’s located in the middle of nowhere, therefore not ideal for longer stays. Seems a bit expensive for this remote location.

Very little natural lighting in the bathroom; bathroom bin was broken - needed to use hands to open the lid. Not keen on a room without a bathroom door. In the larger rooms it's a bit more private. We stayed in a room very close to the dining area, no optimal. Prefer the larger rooms.

The SPA was closed for renovations. The cappuchino machine was out of order. Hair dryer from reception was given but not in working condition. Water supply was off for 24 hours.

The rooms needs work aircon not working, the carpets not done well the surface is not smooth need to be removed. Taps needs to be attended to especially the directions of opening. The finishing on cupboards, taps, painting, electrical plugs etc

The price is not worth it there was no Aircon remote or TV remote it was dirty spider webs on the balcony no plug for. The kettle had to boil water on the floor the hot water was warm TV too small I paid 1500 for 1 night

The views is very nice, rooms are top notch.

Thr place is beautiful, room was so spacious and cosy. Friendly staff. I arrived at night and it was so cold, but they switched the air-conditioned on for me. That was very thoughtful

Beautiful establishment with very professional and courteous staff. Loved all the facilities, secure environment, the interior design, the art, spacious rooms, the relaxed restaurant, awesome breakfast. Coffee 10/10!

People there are so welcome and the breakfast is great

I was extremely happy with the service, first class treatment from the onset after parking the car al the way to room services. I forgot my Charger when checking out, found it the next day kept safe in the locker, talk about good ethics from the cleaners as well

In the bathroom, the basin tap is too close to the bottom of the basin. It makes it difficult to use water. Please consider providing work friendly tables in the rooms.

size of the room and bathroom were great but as expected as that is why i booked the room i did . The staff were welcoming and all smiled. the supper we ate was pleasant

First, at peak hour when most people want to shower and go to bed, there was no hot water. when i asked, i was told that geysers were still refilling and to give it 2 hours. i was not prepared to wait till 10pm to shower, so i went to bed unclean, i was especially looking forward to a nice long bath so i was not satisfied at all, ive never heard of a hotel not having hot water . The supper we had at the restaurant was nice. but the chocolate brownie desert tasted like sand, it was awful and not worth R115.00 at the day and age we live in , the hotel should really get a smart tv allowing people to just log into their own accounts or at least have a full DSTV package the tv channels offered were horrible. the plug in the wall was hanging out and looked unsafe it was also situated right where the kettle is the garden view was not a garden view, it was a view of a very big wall with a patch of grass between the patio and wall, that is not a "garden view" there was an awful sewerage smell in the hotel, i thought it was the lake , but outside smelt fine. the hotel its self did not smell good the pillows were so incredibly hard i could not sleep on them at all i was very uncomfortable and slept on nothing. with us being in the colder months, there was no additional blankets the aircon system did not work i felt that i did not get the luxury experience i was hoping to of had. breakfast, there was no plates to dish up where the muffins/cold food station was. i had to take the plate that had the serving spoon resting on it no water as an option by the juices no separate spoons for dishing up the jams so you had to use the same spoon we sat at the same table we sat at where we had dinner, the table had not even been reset it was missing the fork etc i had eaten with and the spoon we had used so once we got our hot meal we had to wait for cutlery.

Some of the employees were very supportive and friendly. The friendly restaurant employees. The quiet location and the great breakfast.

I arrived early. 11am. Even though they charged me an additional fee of 500R. As it is a no-smoking hotel, the people were forced to smoke outside. Right infront of the reception there were always smoked cigarettes on the ground. Maybe a ashtray will solve the issue. One day i was passing staff and i heard them saying that i must be on wheat. I don’t even smoke. Not nice.

Es war alles ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, Personal teilweise genervt von Fragen und früh 6Uhr war halligalli im Gemeinschaftsraum der Mitarbeiter.

I was not happy with your service,l didnot expect such from a 4 star hotel I booked my room online and paid,but each time l wanted to eat l was being asked how are you paying cause you are owing us you didnt pay anything,when l go to check @ the reception whatz going on,everything is ok How can the reception and restaurant not have the same information. On top of that when they exchange shifts, the person on the current shift has to call the previous person for them to explain what going on before am assisted Think you should tell them to leave notes for the next coming person

I liked everything about the hotel except as per the below item.

The carpets are terribly filthy, they need a good cleaning and it stinks. Also the bed linen had tea or coffee stains.

Breakfast was bit dry.

Everything about this hotel is great. The rooms are big.

Absolutely wonderfull staff!

My room was too close to the smoking lounge and I could smell the smoke, also the sound travelled into my room from the guests using this facility.

The room and facilities were fine.

The restaurant is a disaster for dinner ! The kitchen would not have a clue what service means , over an hour waiting for main course when the restaurant was basically empty ! Had to leave without having main course ! Three hamburgers on the menu , no hamburger rolls available. Sweet potato fries on the menu , run out of sweet potatoes. No olive oil available , what restaurant kitchen runs out of olive oil ? In short a disaster , will not recommend it and will never go there again !
