Reviewed Aug 16, 2026We only stayed here for one night after arriving late at Johannesburg Airport. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was very good as well. The staff is really friendly and helped us big time with transport as we arrived in the middle of the night due to a huge delay at our airport of destination. We therefore couldn’t pick up our rental car. Without their help we would have been stranded at the airport. So thank you very much for your swift help with organizing an unexpected airport pickup.

The hotel needs a little revamp furniture wise sofa are terrible and tv signals are bad wheel bin noise early in the morning.

TV was difficult to st up - you need to add your phone to the wifi, then hotspot your phone. Also, in check-in they said they would bring my bags to the room - they did not - we had to do it later in the evening when we got back.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026Errol the Manager was an absolute God Send - he was kind and compassionate and able to assist with a tricky change of reservation. Location was ideal. Housekeeping staff were happy to assist wherever possible.
There were renovations taking place on some of the rooms - the construction was loud at times but not unbearable enough for me to complain about it at the time.

The cleners/workers make a lot of noise in the mornings, whisk noisy cleaning trolleys early morning that anytime after 7am resting or sleeping is impossible, they shout at each other back and forth. Evenings there is also alot of noise from I guess other residents partying especially weekends. Just a lot of commotion. Noise is generally not controlled. The cleaners also budged into our room to clean/ collect towels every morning even when the security latch is on , she managed to make her way in. No privacy!

1. Noise levels. Loud noises from 6 am I couldnt sleep in the morning. 2. The bathroom. The water was just trickling. The shower needs service. 3. The bed was uncomfortable. The mattress has seen better days and needs to be replaced. 4. The refrigerator making too much noise (more than normal) 5. Their choice of curtains is terrible!

The rooms did not have enough blankets it was freezing cold, the carpets need to be either washed or replaced, there was no two point plug i had to request for one, the tv was not allowing me to make use of the apps and the staff wanted me to pay for usage of them on the tv. i was told i had to pay upfront for food i had to order for my first night's dinner as i could not run a tab on the room.
