Poco curato il tutto ( anche la cena) perché forse fuori stagione… ma allora meglio tenere chiuso

Unser Aufenthalt war toll. Leider waren wir nur für 2 Tage dort. Wir haben die Aussicht und die ruhige Lage sehr genossen.

Die Möbel waren schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber trotzdem war es super sauber und alles hat gepasst.

Great location for a relaxing getaway

The views at Oreti are second to none. We went to the restaurant for the first time and had a lovely meal with fantastic service. This side of Lake Taupo is spectacular and the beach access from Oreti is cute and private, a swim is a must.

Amazing views over the lake, loads of birdsong especially in morning and evening, great restaurant on site, lovely large property suitable for a family of four, very comfortable beds

We had the best time, the property was to a high standard, linen very clean, very comfy beds, restaurant was top notch, staff so friendly, would highly recommend!

It is a long way from Taupo Town Center, but it is worth it. The unique place is stunning, and the view is the same as the advertised. We could see the sunrise. I strongly recommend staying a couple of days to empty your mind in such a calm place.

Excellent peaceful location with amazing view over the lake. Very well equipped and spacious accommodation. Excellent hosts, friendly, helpful and always available when we wanted.

Schöne Wohnanlage direkt am See (direkter Zugang). Ausstattung mit Swimmingpool. Das Ferienhaus war sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet für 6 Erwachsene Personen.

Zwei Zimmer mit versetzten Einzelbetten. In einem Zimmer gab es keine Steckdosen.

L’emplacement exceptionnel. Le confort et la propreté de l’appartement, la tranquillité des lieux. C’était un endroit absolument magnifique.

Nothing all was good

Nach einer Aufzahlung haben wir ein tolles Haus mit Terrasse mit Gartenblick bekommen. Die ursprüngliche Unterkunft hätte den Blick auf die Zufahrt gehabt (das zeigten die Fotos in Booking.com nicht). Sehr gute Betten mit Heizdecke und einen Ausblick in den Sternenhimmel, sofern es keine Wolken gab. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Absolut zum Wohlfühlen! Gutes Restaurant in externer Bewirtschaftung.

Die Vermieter wirkten immer etwas genervt, anscheinend habe sie die Anlage erst vor Kurzem übernommen. Letztendlich hat aber alles fuktioniert.

La vue sur le lac taupo est magnifique !

Die Lodge liegt am Rande von Turangi, ca. 10 Autominuten entfernt. Hier hat man einen tollen Blick über den See Taupo, gute Abendstimmung. Die Ausstattung ist gut, die Terrasse umwerfend, entsprechend der Blick. Ein feiner Ort für schöne Übernachtungen. Bei Buchung empfehle ich OG zu wählen, ist ruhiger. In Summe: klare 4 Sterne

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits à cet endroit. Ils étaient sensés passer après 3 jours pour ajouter les choses qui manquaient (papier de toilette, papier mouchoir, café etc) et vider les poubelles mais ils ne sont jamais passer. Nous avons manqué de choses à cause de cela.

Im 3 Schlafzimmer App. Waren die Betten im 1 Stock sehr klein. Die Kissen viel zu dick.

Freundliches Personal, schöner Blick auf den See

Der Strom im Appartement wurde einen Tag abgeschaltet bei 14 Grad Aussentemperatur. Heizen und Kochen waren nicht mehr möglich. Kühlschrank und Tiefkühler tot. Begründung: Normale Unterhaltsarbeiten des Elektrizitätswerkes im ganzen Ort. Und das in der Hochsaison! Goodies oder Entschädigung wurde nicht angeboten, obwohl wir die Wohnung an diesem Tag nicht nutzen konnten. Für uns ein No-Go! Das Mobiliar ist veraltet, vor allem die Küche müsste modernisiert werden.

A lovely welcome from Marie! Exceptional facilities and what a view! Lovely to have a laundry and the kitchen was stocked with every implement you could possibly need. So comfortable and spotlessly clean. Such a great place - wish we had booked for longer!

The views are out of this world. The kitchen was awesome.

The dryer went on the whole night, the filter was broken, and it was very hot in the laundry room, we weee scared it could have been flammable.

Eins vorweg: die Lage ist TOP. Blick über den See, sehr ruhig. Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, zwar sauber und funktionell, aber hier und da schon etwas abgewohnt. Trotzdem würde ich es empfehlen. Küche war gut ausgestattet, auch Waschmaschine und Trockner waren zur kostenfreien Benutzung. Die Leute an der Rezeption waren der nett und halfen mit sämtlichen Informationen. Restaurant auf der Anlage war o.k., es gab aber nur 2 Menüs zur Auswahl. Aber nach Turangi sind es nur ca. 15 min.

This place is amazing. My tongariro crossing was cancelled due to weather but as soon as you walk into this place, you dont mind as the view is fabulous. Food was great too in the restaurant.

This was a lovely location. We stayed in a two bed apartment that had sweeping views over the bay. Facilities were very good. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very nice, the staff were all nice and friendly.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful, but convenient location

A beautiful location!

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The highlight was sitting out on the balconies and enjoying the sweeping views of Lake Taupo - truly a fantastic place to relax and unwind. We stayed in a townhome, which was perfect for our group of four. Everything is provided just as in your own home: a fully stocked kitchen, living room with television, dining area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms, plus a washing machine and dishwasher. It really feels like renting a proper vacation home where you could comfortably stay for a long time. We were only there for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Another standout was the on-site restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner there, with excellent food and that same stunning lake view. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on the south shore of Lake Taupo. It’s about a 10-minute drive to the nearest town with shops, and roughly 25 minutes to the parking area for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, if that’s on your itinerary.

Everything was excellent, with just two small caveats. There is no direct access to the lake from the property, which would have been a nice bonus. In addition, while there is a swimming pool and we did use it, it is located in a semi-indoor concrete space and is not especially inviting compared to the beautiful natural surroundings.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit traumhafter Aussicht. Sehr liebes Personal und praktischer PP und Waschmaschine wir haben auch vor Ort gegessen und es waer fantastisch! Danke für alles wir können es weiterempfehlen!

Teilweise sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Beleuchtung ungemütlich, hellhörig wenn Nachbarn da sind, Personal im Büro (im Restaurant) gestresst & aufgesetzt "freundlich", zum Glück wenig Kontakt nötig

Magnifique !! Le cadre est fabuleux avec la vue. Nous avons pu nous reposer dans un lieu paisible et reposant.

Spacious unit with full kitchen and own laundry facilities (washer and dryer). View was lovely. Private parking and excellent restaurant on site with great service and very good food. Staff were very nice.

Decor in the unit was a bit dated. The shower was a bit small as was the bed.

The view was spectacular and the room was very spacious and comfortable.

Todo maravilloso para pasar dos noches, incluida la Nochevieja, aunque el tiempo no nos acompañó. Preciosas vistas, restaurante para cenar muy recomendable y sobre todo la atención cuidada de todo el personal.

Location the views ver lake Taupo were beautiful from our balcony.

The decor was a bit tired and could do with modernising.

The view from our apartment was amazing. Everything else was as pictured and comfortable it was very clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at 11 Loft apartment, the views are amazing and picture perfect. The apartment is beautifully appointed, well decorated and clean. The Aircon in the living area is very handy as it did get warm during the day. Apartment has a lot of natural light and the village is surrounded by nature and right on Lake Taupo. This apartment is all about the location.

There are no fans or Aircon in the bedrooms. Even a stand alone fan during summers would suffice.

Apartment had an excellent view out over the lake and was clean and well maintained. Very comfortable bed.

Freundlicher Empfang und gute Tipps gleich bei der Ankunft. Wir haben die Waschmöglichkeit sehr geschätzt. Das angrenzende Restaurant bietet gute Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten. Die Aussicht war genial. Wir haben das sehr genossen und haben die tolle Aussicht auf den See und die Umgebung genossen. Am Morgen wurden wir mit munterem Vogelgezwitscher geweckt. Einfach toll!

Die Aussicht von unserem Balkon war grandios. Einfach wunderschön!! Das Apartment war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Als Ausgangspunkt für das Tongariro Alpine Crossing perfekt. Das neue Management-Team hatte tolle Tipps für uns. Danke für die Restaurant-Empfehlung in Auckland. Es war toll!

Das Mobiliar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht modern, aber die Aussicht und die ansonsten gute Ausstattung trösten schnell darüber hinweg.

being on the lower floor with other kids/family on the upper, the noise was constant and thumping. the tiles in the bathroom were broken and you had to be careful not to slip or cut yourself while they were wet, however im sure this is something the new owners are gradually fixing as they can,
