Location was as expected

There was no place to hang clothing. Cups in the kitchen weren't clean.. Shower soap holder had soap scum in it, and I had to pull the soap container apart to get some soap. There weren't any comfortable chairs only hard kitchen ones.

Loved the friendly staff and awesome thermal pools. The animals were fun too. The units have heatpumps so super cosy in winter and the kitchens are well equipped.

The whole site is just a bit tired and our unit hadn't been vacuumed, although it was clean apart from that. Also, there was lots of dog poo in the kids playground, not the fault of the motel team but something to keep an eye on.

Loved the pools and they were 24/7. Cool little animal farm. Good room for the price.

Great stay with farm animals to show to kids and wonderful view!

We liked that it is accessible and near supermarkets. We also liked that it comes with a relaxing geothermal bath. We liked that there is a dedicated car park for every room. The receptionist was also warm and welcoming.

Rooms and geothermal pools weren't very clean and the electric kettle wasn't working.

Oasis is a classic Kiwi holiday park, with hot pools included in the price. We have been staying here repeatedly for over 30 years and never been disappointed. This vist we were given, unrequited, a free upgrade to a better room. Lovely people, lovely place, centrally located in the North Island.

That old owners are selling up hopefully new owners keep it as a motel and are as friendly as old owners

First time having a cabin room here, so all external facilities, the kitchen facilities require a major overhaul as this area is a serious let down

Fridge freezer compartment door was broken and the excessive ice build-up prevented the door from shutting. Single glazing made the windows drip with condensation. Radiator was not fixed securely to the wall - shoddy plumbing made the place look amateurish. Chair covers were a bit dirty, showing slight lack of concern for detail.

Mineral pools were lovely.

Need a light on walk to toilets/showers.

Hosts were beautiful and friendly 😍 💕 best us time we had spent for awhile so thank you sooo very much. Will definitely be visiting again for longer stay

We only had one night there.

Had a night time dip in the public hot pool. Was nice and hot water clean and relaxing. Tiki torches shone outside. Nice ambience. Staff were accomodating

Kitchen had large pheasants walking around inside and very unhygienic. Upgraded the room to one with kitchenette. Had all the basics but very old interior with patchy paint job.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is more spacious than i anticipated, especially the pantry area. The air conditioning works really well too.

Bathroom is small, especially the wash basin area. The shower water pressure can be weak at times and the temperature fluctuates a lot. The walls of the room are quite thin as well. We were woken up early in the morning due to our neighours getting ready and the loud din they were making (a lot of laughing, talking and slamming of room and car doors). The wifi in the rooms is very weak as well, doesnt help that our mobile data did not really work in this area as well.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly we checked in the shower had clumps of hair. Towels were provided each day but old towels were left. There were cobwebs and the showers ran cold. There was only 3 of us staying in a family sized room

Very handy we were only in a cabin and did not spend a lot of time actually at the camp site

Just passing through for one night and the accommodation was comfortable, comfortable bed and what a treat soaking in a geothermal pool on site before heading away in the morning.

Nothing to like, the whole complex was abominable ! I believed I had booked a motel but it turned out to a n old cabin previously used for Emergency Housing !

Big hole in footpath between room and bathroom, partially covered by chequer platre. Great hole in shower wall! Zero tea facilties in room.. No wash basin or water in room. Peacocks wandering into the communal kitchen, defecating on the kitchen floor ! Pool was empty, filling slowly but looked grossly dirty. Broken down vehicle in full view in a dilapidated state. In short, AVOID AT ALL COST !!!!!

Receptionist was lovely and made us feel right at home.

We accidentally locked ourselves out of our room, this was our fault and it was after hours, we were assisted with a spare key to get access 😂

The hot spas were awful - no way we were going into those and I was looking forward to it. The bed had a spring sticking up and we had to cover it with the duvet to sleep. The TV shelf stuck out dangerously. The shower simply ran cold apart from about 20 seconds of warm water

As it’s close to Tongariro National Park, I think this motel is very convenient for those taking part in the trek tomorrow morning.

I found that shower a bit awkward to use. Also, the car park in front of the motel was a bit tight, and I thought it would be difficult to park if all the rooms were fully booked.

Room was not clean, communal toilets and showers were dirty.

Dirty shower, cheap fixtures - bucket for a bin, standard lamp (lamp shade) for the ceiling light, a dribble of hot water, no smoke alarms. Generally shabby. Paid for two nights but stayed for one as we were dismayed.

The manager made us very welcome and gave us the option to up grade which was nice.

We got upgraded when we found little curly hairs in the bed but although a good size room with bathroom and kitchen facilities, it was not clean.

Love that the pools were 24/7 could come back late and just jump into the spa/or pools at anytime. I loved that it was quiet and friendly. We stayed in the family room. Room9 3singles and double. Loved that the room had a big fridge and big tv. Good for whanau.

The property is a bit tired and could do with some TLC. Beds have been overused newer beds in room could make it more comfortable. Bathroom in family rooms could be bigger. Shower in room pressure can be quiet low.

I absolutely loved our stay there , staff made me and my family feel like we were on holiday at home . So so comfortable and everyone was friendly and very helpful . I am planning on coming to stay again end of the year . If I could I would love there 😅😊

Vriendelijke eigenaar. Goed gelegen ten opzichte van wandelingen in de buurt. We konden ter plaatse door 40 euro bij te betalen een beter kamer nemen.

Wat onderkomen en niet echt goed uitgerust. Bedden waren ronduit slecht en matrassen versleten. Slechtste bed tijdens onze 7 weken in Nieuw Zeeland. Wij vonden het veel te duur voor wat het was. Wat prijs kwaliteit betreft ons slechtste verblijf in Nieuw Zeeland.

It is more a campground with chalets than a motel, but it had a good shower block and the chalet room had electricity and a television.

Walls very thin and could hear the person next door snoring, and I'm sure they could hear me. It mafe it quite difficulr to get to sleep.

Es gab mit Thermalwasser gefüllte Pools zur freien Benutzung. Parkplatz direkt vor der Türe. Fliegengittertüre vorhanden.

Unser Zimmer hatte nur zwei Betten und eine verstaubte Minikomode. Keinen Stuhl/Tisch/ Nachttisch oder sonstige Ablagemöglichkeiten. Unsere zahlreichen Spinnen Mitbewohner sorgten für Moskito freie Nächte.Es war keinerlei Besteck/Teller/ Töpfe etc. In der Gemeinschaftsküche! Ein Trockenraum für Wäsche ist vorhanden leider sind beide dort stehende Waschmaschinen kaputt. Das einzelne und einzige Stoffhandtuch zum Händeabtrocknen in der Damentoilette war unzumutbar für einen ganzen Campingplatz!!! Duschen wird zum Abenteuer da der Abfluss nicht funktioniert, das warme Wasser kommt zufällig. Ein sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Anwesen...

Its old and tired. I see it is up for sale. Let's hope that someone buys it who can turn it into a great experience

We had a great time and enjoyed the thermal pools. The motel is close to Tongariro National Park, so it was very convenient to go on a hike there.
