The shower could do with some shower lining repair work, water kept leaking out onto the bathroom floor and looked a bit grimy around the bottom corners of shower. This was in room 12.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026We had a wonderful experience. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especially the lady at the front of the bar and restaurant. She was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The pork meal was delicious and cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed our food and the overall experience. Highly recommended!

The day was bitterly cold and we knew we would check in late - a quick call to reception to let them know and instructions were provided to where we could get our key. We absolutely appreciated staff had turned on the heatpump and left a light on for us. Very kind gesture. Nga mihi

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Convienient location, easy to find, close to amenteties, cafes , so warm and cosy, comfortable and excellent for our one night stay. Lady at reception was lovely and found me my key from the outside box even though we were late to arrive. Nice hot shower.
Honestly, I found the double bed quite hard and it didn't have any give in it. I woke up having had not much sleep. But everything else was perfect.

The photographer was great advertising the rooms we had a cabin and it was waaay smaller than expected it was like a shoe box, had to keep the aircon on 24/7 cause it was like a sauna, the wifi wasn’t good and finding something to watch on tv at night was a nightmare.

Surpris d'avoir des tentes et campings car/ Van sur l'ensemble des espaces verts et notamment devant les chambres. Néanmoins à aucun moment nous n'avons été gênés par du bruit ou autre.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Good place to stay in Turangi, you're a short walk away from the main town where all the restaurants and supermarkets etc are. Room has most of what you would need, and the shared kitchen and bathroom are across the building. Facilities are kept very neat and tidy.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026We couldn’t check in early but the desk gave us the key early so we could come back late to get in. So helpful. Accomodation was great, we stayed in a family unit. Was exactly all we needed. My wife left her wallet behind and we didn’t realise until a few days later, staff had found it and posted back to us in Australia without any hassle.

The shower wasnt clean, and the restaurant was really noisy - we ended up getting our meals in a doggy bag and going back to the unit to eat them.

It was rather cramped. Could have made better use of the space. It also looks tired. Not much in the way of sound proofing. We could hear our neighbours and I’m sure they could hear us. It was over priced for what you get. Maybe because it was a long holiday weekend??
